It was in a good are and only 10 minutes from the airport. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and it was a nice clean, quiet stay.

The Hawthorne Suites hotel in Wichita, KS - enjoyed my stay, it was a nice getaway for one night. It's worth mentioning the following details about the room itself - there was a rather outdated TV and a smaller jaccuzzi in comparison with my previous stay a few years ago. The rest was very decent, I think it was a good deal for the price paid.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is in the suburbs - a nice area. Plenty to eat around it and a zoo nearby. A great place for families to stay because there was plenty of room in our room.

The only issue is the beds are not has comfy as I like but when I walked into my room after a long day and night,..my room was about 75 degrees coming in from 90+ at 9 PM that was VERY refreshing! Great location and great staff!

Nice hotel for the price with a good breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms. We would stay there again if we visit Wichita.

We stayed at this hotel while we were attending a wedding in the area. The location was perfect, close to the reception venue and anything else we could need. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked; a dead roach on the bathroom floor and the carpet was matted. The beds were older and semi-comfortable. The staff was extremely pleasant. First room had not been vacuumed and there appeared to be dried urine in front of toilet. They put us in another room. That one had a dead bug, spider and spider web in bathroom. I have stayed in this hotel in the past and it was fairly clean. This will be my last stay. Fortunately we brought socks to wear around the room!!

When I travel I choose to stay in Wichita as I live several miles from the Wichita airport. When I called to book with Hotels.com I specfically asked if the hotel had a shuttle to the airport as my flight left at 620 a.m. and didn't return until 11 p.m. four days later. I also needed to know if I cold leave my car without being charged. Both requirements […] were confirmed by the booking agent so I booked the hotel. We normally stay closer to the airport but thought we'd give the Hawthorne a chance. Upon arrival I was told that no the shuttle only ran from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. I've stayed at other places where the shuttle doesn't run early or late so they pick up the cab cost. Not the Hawthorne. I asked if I could receive a refund (mind you I hadn't even checked in yet or gone to the room) but was told no that it was non-refundable. No upgrade was offered. No apology. Maybe they should change their amentities list to the specifice times that the shuttle runs. Devamı

Very nice hotel in good location.

Horrible, management does not stand behind what they say. Rude !!!! Quoted us different rates and then when checking out, much higher then expected. Having to dispute those charges. Had left 3 messages and wrote a letter and finally had to have my husband call to get a response from anyone. Thats just wrong !!! One night had to call the front desk twice […] and go up to the front desk about guests next door making so much noise. Never could get them to be quite, one guest told my son to take some drugs to drown out there noise. What a great place it could be with the right management in place !!! Devamı

The hotel was all we had hoped for, convenient location, quiet area, clean and comfortable for the little time we were in the room. We were very disappointed in the breakfast which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel so we would have a furnished breakfast each morning. The coffee had an odd taste, and the jelly was so old it wouldn't come out […] of the plastic container. There were no napkins available, and the waffles stuck in the machine. We visit Wichita quite often, but not sure that we would stay here again. Devamı

Unlike some of the the reviewer comments, this was neither the finest nor the worst hotel I've visited. The staff was always courteous, the room clean, and the breakfast adequate. On the positive side, they extended our discount rate for the two additional days we stayed. If I need a hotel in Wichita in the future, I would likely consider visiting this […] place again. Devamı

What more can you ask for? The room was clean and spacious. It was decorated very nicely and the beds looked wonderfully inviting after a long day of travel. The view wasn't bad either our windows looked out onto the golf course.

The hotel was great - very quiet and in a safe neighborhood. We were going Christmas shopping the next day & it was located close to lots of different shopping areas and great restaurants. The breakfast buffet was awesome!

We booked a room with 2 queens and a sofa. When we entered our room...we had 2 queens and NO sofa. We had a desk and one (1) chair. We asked the front desk to please bring another chair to our room,. They did! Our stay was for 3 days. The room was very uncomfortable. Both my husband and I are in our 60's so to sit in our room for the 3 days (on desk […] chairs) was very uncomfortable. The room was very large (except for the small closet which was simply a whole in the wall) so by the time the stay was over...we were very stiff and sore. There was NO table in our room to eat a meal at. Overall, we liked the hotel but the rooms were so uncomfortable we will never stay there again. Devamı

Hotel and employees met all my expectations. Close to shopping and eating establishments.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hawthorne, especially since the price was lowered through Hotels.com Wish they had more fruit on the breakfast bar like bananas, etc. Would really like it if they had the waffle irons and mix so we could make our own waffles when we are ready. The waffles would be hot when we made them.

Originally..the room was a smoking room and it was filthy. The desk clerk had to clean up the room. I was very dissatisfied with the room. This was a nonrefundable rooom otherwise I would've checked out the first day. I had a toddler and I didnt want her breathing in all that smoke. When I say the room was filthy...here are some examples... The toilet...someone […] had diarhea and it wasnt me. The shower...still had pubic hair in the tub and it was dirty. I pointed it out to the desk clerk who had to clean the room and she thought the hair was my hair. I told her I just checked in when did i have time to take a shower. If it was left up to her I would have to stay in that room my entire stay. She told me there were'nt any rooms available since I was staying 10 days. She did offer to put an idonizer in the room the next day in orderto clear out the smoke smell. The next day Jim changed me to a really clean, non smoking room. He even changed the room to a larger room. I found him to be kind, considerate and cared about whether the patron was comfortable. I wish there were more people like Jim. An excellent, safe and clean choice for business and or families traveling. Convenient to shopping and movies. Wouls highly recommend!

I was hoping the in room jacuzi would be alil bigger, the room was nice and cozy, the bed very comfortable, i did find some bug on the bed

This hotel is high on our list. They had a convention going on, but we did not feel neglected or put out for not being part of it. We got exactly the accommodations we requested and received a clean quiet room. The breakfast was one of the best we had eaten for a "free" breakfast in 5 days on the road. We also received 2 complimentary drinks (beer/wine/soda) […] when we arrived which we had not expected. This hotel is close to many restaurants and easy to find off the freeway. Nice hotel well kept

My stay at this hotel had good points and bad points. Check in was very easy (Thanks to Hotel.com). The room was very spacious which was needed, Although there was a note which stated the room had been cleaned, but the coffee maker was half full of coffee from the previous occupants and there was an apple core found on the ground which had me wondering […] about what thier standards of clean means. The sheets did appear to be clean though. The first night ther were some loud drinkers out front in the parking lot( put the AC on to quiet the noise)Ask for a Room Facing the Golf Course if available. The Breakfast Buffett was excellent, Better than expected(A+).Location was key since I was visiting Family 2 minute drive from Hotel; and if you Golf it is a great location. After traveling from central Alabama to Wichita, my wife and I were in need of a night of rest. The front desk person was very courteous and helpful on our arrival. The room was very clean and had extremely comfortable beds. I must say that this is one quiet hotel. The next morning we were very pleased to find that the breakfast was a full hot breakfast […] as advertised. A great way to start the day! The Hotel room was large and was a great value for the price. The only down issue was the computer in the lobby was out of order and the workout room was sad. They need to update the room with new equipment. People want to workout!
