Beautiful grounds. Very quite, peaceful. Unfortunately the soaking pools, a main reason for choosing this location, were closed. Clean, spacious room, but toilet seat broken. Limited staff available, especially in the morning. Seemed more concerned with informing guests of closing hours than of available services. This is a great little getaway!! I wish we could have stayed longer and I will definitely be coming back. It was a great bargin for what they offered!

This hotel is AWESOME!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It can be romantic. It was be for a family getaway. The staff was sooo kind and sweet! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nice a quiet place in the mountains. Very safe. Love it! Will go back again for sure when Im traveling in the area.

Had a wonderful time. It was so nice to wake up and up french doors in the morning to over look the beautiful golf course. But, on the Sunday morning that we were to check out we woke up a little late and were getting ready when the front desk called and asked when we were leaving, I explained that we were getting ready and would be checking out in […] about 30 minutes and she said that that was no problem. Not 10 minutes later the same lady comes back telling me that there is supposdly noise coming from my room and that I had to check out now. I told her there was no noise the tv wasn't even on and she was extrememly rude. I told her we would be done in 20 minutes and that they have been paid in full. Very disrespectful and rude. Grounds are beautiful. Front desk girl was very helpful. Rooms were ok......old.......the top floor rooms are better. Beds very comfortable. Restaurant food was ok..........very slow.......needed help.

Area was beautiful but the so called resort was not. It was dirty and smelled. The tub would not drain and the toilet leaked. Never got in the pool but it appeared dirty. The fridge and the microwave were very small and sitting on the floor not even a table. Would not recommend to anyone.

The hotel has great location and comfortable facilities, but the furniture in the rooms are old and worn out. The bed had a sink hole, did not get a good night sleep.

Just not what I expected. 3 star property - I don't think so. Room was very outdated, and the rug should have been replaced 10 years ago. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful in making massage arrangements, thank you!

Very nice place to stay. I liked most everything about this stay except for the fact that I checked in relatively late (8:30 PM) on a Sunday and was hungry so I walked down to the on-site restaurant that was supposed to be open till 9:00 PM and found out they closed the grill at 8:00. I went back to my room and decided to smoke a cigar out on the nice […] patio then go to bed. The next morning I received a very pleasant phone call asking me if I was smoking cigars, to which I replied "Yes" to. I then found out that "Smoking" wasn't allowed on the entire complex and that there was a couple complaints about it also. It was a very good cigar! Temecula hotels are overpriced and hard to find on the weekend .. But Castle Creek was modestly priced -- cheap for the quality of amenities and service. AND .. close enough to make the 15 min drive to Temecula Wine Country, or to one of several Indian Gaming Casinos in the area. Reasonable rates, great getaway. Totally relaxing. Had a very nice overnight stay.

Bed had a huge sink hole. Needs replacement. We were uncomfortable and did not sleep well. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything said and what TV show they were watching next door. The grounds and scenery were very nice, especially if you golf. The food at the restaurant was ok but the ambiance could have been better.

The hotel is at a quiet location yet convenient to get to the major highways. The room was clean but the furniture/upholstery need some updating. The staff is polite and will accomodate your needs.

I needed a play to stay one night so that I could attend a friend's funeral so I was clearly not traveling for pleasure. The resort is located away from any commercial districts, so you may need to drive a few exits to find food if the resort's restaurant is closed for the evening. The resort lobby was a little difficult to locate at night but the receptionist […] was friendly. She explained the various facilities (pool, sauna, spa, etc) that I could enjoy. The room was clean, spacious, and had a nice view overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, but the TV was the older CRT type and the heater/AC unit was a portable unit hooked up to the wall. The free WiFi was definitely very convenient. My only complaint about the stay was the less than ideal condition of having to figure out how to use the heater and then realizing that the unit was rather noisy. In the end, I decided to take a nice hot shower and then go to sleep without using the heater. It was a little chilly when I woke up (back in the hot shower while the heater was heating up the room). I didn't realize until just before I left that there were additional blankets in the closet that I could (should) have used. I would have no problem staying here again. Devamı

Our first room (29) was noisy and uncomfortable and ghastly decorated. Our second room (13) overlooked the golf course and was quite pleasant and quiet. The soaking pools are nice (four small connected pools) but the heat wasn't turned on until 3pm, which was a bit disappointing for my young son. The on-site "club house" style restaurant is a dive, […] but the staff is very friendly and the food surprisingly good. A mixed review but if I would rather stay at Castle Creek than alternative lodging down the road. Devamı

Castle Creek Inn is work in progress and seems to never get finished. You must see this place to appriciate it. It is clean, and has beautiful grounds. The beds are comfortable, but the decore needs improvements. It would be a 4 star if they upgraded the 70 mix match decore and provided upgraded TV's/

Rarely does a place live up to, much less exceed, expectations generated by the online description and photo depiction, but Castle Creek does! The hospitality was warm; the room, spacious and comfortable; the grounds, impeccably groomed; and the view, beautiful. I look forward to returning.

No Sleep due to old Noisy heater

I was charged a fee for early check in. did not like that.

Great place to get away from it all..... very peaceful and quiet.. Be sure to take your cooler and snack box.. The closest shopping area is 1.5 miles overall Great Place......

A very quiet and relaxing stay. Exceeded our expectations for a 3 star hotel. Room was large, bed very comfortable, grounds and area was beautiful and tranquil. The "nature walk" on their website is really just a short path way with a picnic table next to the exercise room and the only restaurant nearby has limited hours, but those things didn't affect […] our stay. The inn is located in a beautiful rural area-has great views of the mountains. About a 15 minute drive to restaurants, shops, etc. We overnighted there because of the hotel's proximity to the Wild Animal Park.

My folks were staying at their time share condo at the nearby Lawrence Welk Resort so I was looking for a place nearby. Last year I stayed at a chain hotel in Escondido and it was fine, but 'eh'. This year I wanted something a little more special and was really pleased with the Castle Creek Inn. My boyfriend and I found the grounds romantic and very […] pretty. It was a very quiet, no-hassle kind of place and the staff was very nice. The room rate was really good. The only negative was that the in-room coffee pot was tiny and had the wrong size carafe so you had to hold it up for the coffee to drip through. There was no coffee in the lobby and the lobby hours are short anyway so that is not an option. We ate breakfast at the little restaurant--the 'Gopher Hole' overlooking the golf course on Saturday morning and it was really great. Overall it was nice and we would definitely go back. Devamı

wow I travel a lot and I was very impressed, what a bargain for a wonderful and scenic place plus the bed was amazing and the service too

This is a nice three star hotel in northern Escondido. It is very quiet and you can't hear the freeway, which is a plus. My room was right off of the golf course. The room was not brand new, but it was in good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was quaint, cozy and quiet. Hot pools were delightful and service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone going to enjoy a weekend wine tasting in Temecula.

I love the place, so romantic, peaceful, very clean! Jennifer, front desk staff, was very very friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and I will go back and stay longer.

Off the "beatin path", very quiet and serene.. The best hotel bed my wife and I ever slept in! When in the San Diego area..,Castle Creek will be our "go to" Hotel Bill B

Nice scenery around the inn but the inn itself had very disappointing accomodations. The room was like an old Motel 8.

The mattress was worn to the degree that we rolled to the middle automatically. Places to eat were a considerable distance away. The very small refrigerator in the room had broken parts although it was functional.

The woman working the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice stay.

The soaking pools are fabulous! The bed was incredible!!! Great staff, great location, beautiful grounds!

My wife and I dropped off our daughter at a sleep over in near by Escondido. We wanted to just find a hotel to spend one night in without kids, dogs, computers, etc. Saw the castle creek inn online and decided to try it. It was a good choice for us. The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. All the rooms have balconies with wonderful […] views. Its on a golf course if you like that (we don't golf). The pool seemed nice (didn't use it). The have 5 hot pools that descend down a hill. The hot pools were great. They are usable all night, but the heat turns off at 10pm. They were still hot at midnight. The grounds are beautiful and beg to be walked. The TV is small but we planned on not watching much TV. Devamı

I stayed here while passing through Escondido on business. I wouldn't call this hotel a traditional business hotel, but it certainly had creature comforts - soaking pools, golf course views, etc. - that make me want to take my wife back for an extended weekend.
