"Convenient...but two issues"
I liked this location because it was convenient to various areas of Baton Rouge and yet remarkably quiet. The suite setup was very comfortable. Even though it's not the newest hotel, it's just fine for the most part. The sliding closet door in the bedroom came off the track several times during my stay. "Homewood Suites (Baton Rouge); 2 BR Suite Review"
Positives: 1) Layout/Size - Perfect 2) Location - Perfect for Food/Shopping, etc.. 3) B-Fast Buffet was wonderful 4) Customer Serv upon our check-in Terrific; Very sweet front desk representative Negatives: 1) Not enough parking late at night; had to make my own within the lot and notify the front desk 2) The bathrooms in both bedrooms were very musty […] smelling 3) Dirty dishes were left in dishwasher (just a couple) Overall, and not knowing what happens with the LA climate, we were pleased with this particular room. The room was great!!! It was and had everything I was looking for. That's why we are staying there again.

Loved how the room was set up. We had four people, two adults and two kids, in the room.
"Noisy Pipes"
Beautiful room, was very pleased. Only problem was, whenever the guests next door used the water in their bathroom, it was very loud and difficult to sleep. Other than that, it was really nice for the price!

"Exceptional Late shift service!"
We checked in at 1:00am, to our surprise we had accidentally selected a smoking room on our reservation booking online. This was a big problem as it was a playoff weekend in New Orleans & everything was booked, my husband and son have asthma and we were left with no choice but drive home. Upon notifying the front desk she found a room for us there, […] granted the air conditioner was broke, she was very apologetic for but found us a place to rest. As we were sick and coming home from a long vacation and many flight delays, we preferred the room with no ac as to try and drive 3 very tired children 3 hours home. "Great service and location but not the cleanest"
The service was amazing. the location is just off i-10, there was a whole foods just a mile or so away. very safe, nice area. the hotel is a bit older, so not the most stylish place. Also the room was not incredibly clean. The tub had grime and there was hair from previous customers in bathroom and the bed covers were stained.
"Baton Rouge"
On our way back to Texas from a cruise in the eastern Caribbean, we stayed at this hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Since it was the 4th of July, we wanted to see some fireworks. The desk clerk told us how to find them and we had a lot of fun interacting with the the local citizens.
