A handy stopover. Room has good basic facilities, a good size, and reasonably comfortable. Bed too small. Food quite disappointong and... overpriced

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Ideally placed for Lake District. Great deal. Good leisure facilities.

I was very disappointed to see a Holiday Inn that was well below their usual standard. The hotel decor was very 'tired' and needs a lick of paint. The staff in the retaurant seemed more interested in chatter than service. Then to top it all reception attempted to charge me twice for the room! Not a hotel I will be returning to.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - our room (a double with a sofa bed) had lots of space, and when we checked the films available we discovered that a film that we've been waiting to see at the cinema was available so we had a lovely cosy night watching that! The next morning we took advantage of the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna that […] were free to guests. We would definitely stay here again! Devamı

Although this is one of the nicest hotels around and the spa is lovely, it was let down by poor housekeeping services. i.e. we booked a room for 2 adults and one child but only had one bath towel in the room on arrival and only 2 cups in the room. 2 teabags and no hot choc sachets. Not what you expect from this grade of hotel. On mentioning this to […] front desk staff, towels were added but we still only had two cups. On the second day teabags were added and in the evening the concierge gave us some chocolate sachets but they should have been in the room. An ideal stopover for a long journey from Portsmouth to Scotland. Room was clean and very comfortable. Used the swimming pool which helped use to use up some energy! Perfectly located just off junction 34 and very good value for money.. Only negative would be the expensive cost of the wi-fi. Didn't use the restaurant in the hotel but there is a Brewer's […] Fayre directly opposite with a soft play area - ideal for a 3 year old with plenty of energy to burn after the long journey. holiday inn was as expected clean and comfortable the staff very friendly and the rooms up to date with large TV I would return to this hotel

We booked last minute as we had to visit a friend urgently. The booking process was easy and we had a very warm welcome after a long journey from the South. The room was much bigger than I expected which was great as we were travelling with my newborn baby. Would recommend this hotel * * * * * * * * * * *

The hotel was typical Holiday Inn Provided and convenient place to stop and sleep Generally clean and accommodating, facilities were good. The only real let down was room service (45 mins for a salad and then no chicken was rediculous) Otherwise a good experience

hotel was in a good location for onward travel. The first room smelled quite strong of smoke, also above function room with a wedding on so not ideal with children. The hotel re located rooms no problems very accomodating. The leisure club pool area in need of some TLC a little dirty due to the mount of use I guess. Booked room only would of appreciated […] at check in the option of breakfast but was never asked, poor up selling. Devamı

Not the best place I've stayed at. Room booking was there, but 2 of the 4 beds in the room were inadequate sizes for adults and therefore did not provide a good nights sleep or high level of comfort. The bathroom was unclean, either a very poor job had been done or none at all. Toiletries were missing. There was 1 towel between 4 of us. Hotel situated direct on banks of River Lune - great for cycling to eg Morecambe or accessing the Lancaster Canal - great cycle paths to Carnforth and Glasson Docks.

Good stay for myself and two collegues. My collegues however, had no water (as did half the hotel) in the morning. No explanation and no apology given by anyone. Not overly impressive

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Served the business purpose perfectly but the distance from town centre was ambiguous which ended up being a taxi ride. Nonetheless, would recommend.

Arrived late afternoon (4pm or later) but cleaners sill in the room. When they let I found crumbs on one of the armchairs. The throw at the bottom of the bed had a recent spill of something globulous. The fridge contained a small bottle of sparkling water with the seal broken. All of the above were reported to reception. On retuning to the room later […] the water in the fridge had been replaced but the crumbs had not been swept up and the throw on the bed had not been removed/replaced. The dinner menu was mundane and overpriced for what was on offer so we didn't use it. On the plus side the staff at breakfast were extremely pleasant and helpful and the food standard was quite good. Hotel itself was fine. Cost of internet VERY expensive!!! (compared with other similar hotels. Some mix up with the bill
