Mercure White Horse Dorking - Dorking

This hotel looks lovely from the road and is right in the centre of Dorking. The parking is a bonus and although the rest of the hotel out the back looks a bit like a 1970's block of flats, the interiors are of a high standard and clean and the bed was very comfortable!

Excellent accommodation in an old building. Staff brilliant. Only stayed for 2 nights but loved it and will definitely stay again

Central location - quirky hotel - parts very old, parts not so old, but it all works together. Friendly staff that genuinely seem happy to help. Comfortable and pleasant room. No quarms at all. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

We had a really quiet room, it was clean and comfortable, the reception was very helpful. We had a drink in the bar on the first night and was served by a very sullen girl who didnt speak much english, perhaps that is why no one else was in the bar both nights we were there. Overall though a very pleasant stay.

Very convenient , old but comfortable , plenty of parking , recommended.

Best value around Dorking - however still a bit pricey - but all around Leatherhead / Dorking are. Thought it might be a bit run down as I heard it was years ago, but it was actually very nice. Staff good as well - we checked in at 1.30am and there was no problems.

Beautiful hotel with loads of character. really enjoyed staying and would definintly come back in the future.

A good choice for staying in Dorking. Parts of the building is dated from the 15th century. Finding my way to my room felt like waling in an labyrinth, but that is part of the charm.

A very nice hotel in lovely walking surroundings. Excellent breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Cosy lounge. We would love to go back and has already recommended it to friends.

we had a most lovely stay over at this lovely olde worlde hotel. Our room was spotless and so cosy. Evening meal in the bar was perfect & for breakfast there was an amazng choice . Would certainly go there again.

Stayed at the White Horse whilst attending a wedding in the area. Located in the heart of Dorking High Street, we arrived the night before, found a nail bar close by for a pampering spa pedicure, then had a nice dinner in one of the several restaurants to choose from in the vicinity. Room in the garden block was clean, and not too hot either. Bed was […] extremely comfortable. Had a light lunch in the hotel before the wedding (panini & sandwiches etc). and breakfast the next day - which was OK but full buffet quite expensive at £14pp - unless you can really eat loads first thing in the morning! Coffee wasn't very nice either. (Our Hot Deal rate didn't include breakfast) Overall, however, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and comfort. Devamı

Having read the only review available on Hotels.com for this hotel I was rather worried, but it proved to be a misguided worry. The hotel was a little worn in parts, but it really wasn't a problem and our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and with all the amenties we needed for one night's stay. The bar area was lovely, with real character and excellent […] service. We ate a snack there and the quality of the food was very good. Breakfast was also very good; even veggie sausages were provided which is a rarity. There is loads of parking available and it is conveniently located in the middle of the high street. All in all, a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel if you need somewhere in the Dorking area. Devamı

The main parts of the hotel are OK - just OK. My room needed a good decorate. The window frames had chipped and cracked pain. The wallpaper was stained. There was a pipe that had been leaking in my bedroom and that creaked and groaned all night. Only l sheet of paper left on the writing pad. No sanitary bags no rubber bath mat although there was a […] sign telling you to use it. The net curtains were dirty and one looked like it had bird poo on it. ITV on the television picture was so bad you could'nt watch it. Only one radio channel had good enough reception to listen to. I didn't get asked if I wanted to early morning call or a newspaper when I arrived and was not offered any help to my room with my luggage. The best thing about the stay was my duvet and the tea and shortcake biscuits in the room. Devamı
