The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center - Englewood

Generally good although disappointed that the restuarant was closed on one evening for a private party leaving only a choice of two noisey bars in which to eat.

the room and quality of service was great. I love it.

Pros: The staff were very friendly. The decor/style of the hotel was very beautifully done. Cons: Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Both my husband and I had back pain following the next day. The bath towels were also not very clean. There were gross stains and hair found on both my towels. The pool and hot tub were nice but we were unable to […] enjoy it because a couple of kids kept jumping in and out of the hot tub (literally doing cannonballs) and splashing us but that was due to the lack of parental supervision. Our stay was between Christmas and New Years. Overall, we had a good experience. The bell desk staff was wonderful! Helpful and experienced. Several front desk staff were helpful, too. One bad apple at the front desk made for a bad "first impression" and she continued her attitude problem throughout our stay. Seemed she resented our hotels.com discount […] and was very unhelpful in our room selection. The head of security was great! Felt safe and looked-after. The room service staff was super! In-room dining accomodations to a special needs diet was Super! top notch also was the Seafood Buffet for New Years. Unbelievable! Outstanding! Great food and amazing selection and creativity!! The exercise room could use some updating, and the indoor pool, as well. Overall a good experience. Devamı

The place is warm and welcoming, and seemed to have everything you could possibly want in a hotel. My only regret is that I was in town for only one night with a busy schedule both days, and therefore had no time to take advantage of the many perks this hotel offers. I did have roomservice (breakfast), which arrived promptly and was very good. The […] neighborhood is more of a business district (there is nothing charming to see within walkind distance), and the golf course is nothing notable for those of us who do not golf. However, the hotel is perfectly located between Parker and Aurora, and very convenient to downtown Denver. A quick weekend getaway to ditch the kids and spend time with the wife. We had an awesome room and a great time at the Inverness. The location allowed my wife to go shopping and for us to enjoy South Denver. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Staff was great. Now to the negative... we were in the Spotted Dog enjoying dinner, drinks, and playing some […] free pool. It was a great time. Prices, food and service were excellent. And then came the two women and 12 kids (literally) that turned a comfortable English Pub into the playland at a fast food joint. Kids were playing pool, throwing darts, running around and generally being noisy little kids. Staff allowed it to happen. I wanted to sit in a bar and drink an adult beverage, but instead we ended up leaving. If I had wanted to watch children run in circles and squeak, I would have stayed home. So my advise to the staff at the Inverness. Keep up the great work but keep the children out of the bar please. Devamı

We had a weekend retreat at this hotel that was truly delightful. It was comfortable, the staff was accommodating, and it was sad to leave when the weekend was over.

My husband and I went to the Inverness Hotel for an in town get away and were so pleased. The service was wonderful, the beds comfortable and the pool was peaceful. We would recommend this hotel as a definate for great quality at a good value.

We have stayed several times, we have always been happy with our stay. Great and friendly service, clean rooms and excellent shuttle service. Our top pick place to stay in Denver.

The entire hotel was just wonderful, from the front desk staff to the great brunch. We would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants great satisfaction and comfort.

We had a very relaxing stay. Nice pool area, room service available by phone from the pool. Spotted Dog pub is great, shuffleboard, darts, billiards, and all you can eat shrimp during Happy Hour on Friday. My sister is handicapped and I left her there to visit with family. The staff was most helpful to her and fulfilled her every need in a most pleasant way. When I arrived back there, they were most pleasant and accomodating to me also, and were always cheerful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! Very nice facility just very plain on the outside but very nice on the inside.

Hotel is modern and well-maintained, with good golf andspa facilities. Be ready to expect a rip-off charge of $9.99/night that is not declared in the published rates. This is presented on check-in as a "service" charge, whether you have a car, computer or not.

This is the second time that I've stayed at this Hotel. Absolutely no complaints! Wonderful views of the golf course. Great location, very clean. Very freindly staff! I highly recommend it.

The Inverness is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Upon our arrival, there were three major events going on at this hotel (2 weddings and 1 celebration) but we waited less than a couple of minutes to check in, and then the clerks gave us their undivided attention and were professional and friendly. Everything at the hotel was perfect. The food, the sleeping quarters, the golf course, the food, the people, the clientele - all of it.

6 of us stayed at this hotel for a week for business. I had a decent experience...room was clean, food was decent (though expensive for breakfast), staff was nice. However, the other two rooms weren't as lucky. One had a clogged sink that we called in about. It was never fixed...and my co-worker tried to clean it herself (pulled up a drain plug full […] of nasty brown clogged up matter). The other had a similar experience of the housekeeping service being subpar. It's a nice hotel, not luxurious by any means but convenient...just know that the housekeeping might be spotty. Devamı

Beautiful room, great view, quiet getaway with a superb restaurant -- Boco. Try the filet, it literally "melts in your mouth"!

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. Checking in and out was quite easy. Though I didn't use the fitness facilities, pools or golf course, they looked well maintained and complete. I recommend the "Club Level" for the complimentary breakfast. The only negative was it's distance from downtown and the airport. I recommend nearby Maggioni's, […] an Italian restaurant. Devamı

This is a fabulous property with obvious attention to detail. Hospitality was mediocre at best and needs work. Our room didn't cool down at night as we would have liked.

The hotel was very nice especially for the price we paid. However, I found it rather ridiculous to have to pay extra to use the pool, exercise room, and other things they offered. The only thing they had that was free was the ice machine. Probably would not stay there again if given the option. The Hotel was okay, however our experience at other resorts is that the cost of the room and its ammenities is disclosed up front. In addition to the cost advertised in Hotel.com for a room at Inverness, they applied a daily processing fee, a fee for the key to the refrigerator, a fee for each item in the refrigerator, a fee if you wanted to use an […] empty refrigerator, a fee...on and on... There is something dishonest about this business practice. The atmosphere was more like a regular hotel rather than a resort. Last winter we stayed in a resort that offered special soaps, wine, and a relaxing ambiance. We were expecting a similar experience when we booked at the Inverness, so were disappointed when it ended up being just an average hotel. Devamı

From the time we drove up to this beautiful hotel, the employees were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We were placed on the club floor with wonderful views from our room. The Fireside Lounge, the restaurant, the gift shop, all were staffed by the friendliest people! World class menu in restaurant, I gave a drink recipe to the bartender in the […] Fireside Lounge and she eagerly made it for me and thanked me for sharing it, concierge went out of their way to share menus and recommendations for activities and off site restaurants. All in all a lovely experience and we definitely plan to go back when we visit Denver. Oh, and my husband loved the golf course! He was partnered with club members and was so impressed with his golfing experience. I did not get a chance to visit the spa, but will absolutely do so on my next visit.
