This was a good value for the money, and with just a few minor changes it would be a great value. Since not all stairs go to all floors, signs would help to direct guests. Every room lamp should have a all bulbs required. The ice machine should be serviced. Staff should check drawers for items left by previous guests. I should not have expected anything better. The hotel had a bad smell the minute we walked in. The room was even worse. The smell of smoke throughout was overwhelming. The smell of drugs was even more overwhelming. I can say that the bed was comfortable. We NEVER received fresh towels or service. I had to go get toilet paper and towels myself. The room was dirty and smelled horrible. The lights in the bathroom didn't work and when we called the desk to notify them the desk clerk came down climbed on the bathroom counter and proceeded to beat the light with her shoe. Probably the worsted hotel I have ever stayed in. Very dirty, poor service and the whole place smelled like a bar. The room looked like a fight had taken place and everything was shuffled around. I would not let my dogs stay here let alone recommend this place to anyone.

This was by far one of the worst stays we have ever had. We stay at all kinds of hotels and motels because we travel alot. We have come to expect a certain standard from Days Inn, at the least, a room cleaning, every 2 days. Our room was cleaned only 1 time in 6 days, and they didn't change the sheets or pillow cases. the people are very nice and do their best to keep their clients happy. The problem with this hotel is location we were going to great america and gurnee mall we had to turn so many times thank goodness for GPS otherwise i would never of been able to find hotel

The room was terrible. Blood on sheets , burnt holes on toilet seat. Hair all over and in the refridgerator.

After reading many reviews, I was wary about booking a room at the Days Inn. But because it was at least $20.00 less per night than surrounding hotels, I decided to book three nights for the Navy graduation. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel. With two adults and two children in the room, we were comfortable. The free breakfast […] left a lot to be desired, with cereal, bagels and donuts the only food served. But with a Dunkin Donuts only 2 miles away, we were happy. I would recommend the Days Inn to anyone attending Navy graduation at Great Lakes, since the hotel is less than 8 miles from the base. we recently stayed here, and for the price we paid, we were impressed.. few stains on the sheets. Kinda gross, but whatever. The room was nice, but our view was the cars. if cars were parked, you wouldnt be able to see out. but thats minor. there was a huge hole in our bathroom door, but the door stayed open the whole time, so we didnt really notice... […] but over all, it was decent. for the price, i think we would stay there again. VERY dirty room, had a horrible odor so bad we had to go buy lysol to spray in the room and plastic flip flops to wear in the room to avoid walking on the dirty carpet. Bathroom floor had not been mopped (a LOT of hair and dirt build up on the bathroom floor) Pillows on the bed were in horrible shape, the mattress cover did not fit the mattress so it […] would wrinkle up all through the night. Light switch in bathroom not working, Car outside by window alarm keep going off at wee hours of the morning. Breakfast not good they did not refill coffee pot or cleaned spilled sugar on counter. Loung chair in room had big stains on it.

The sheets were stained and we found a long blonde hair in the jacuzzi tub (I have long BROWN hair)....

The room needed paint bad. The hallway outside our room smelled like cat urine. The room was the cheapest around and I got what I paid for but I would not stay there again

the room was not clean at all. there was blood stain on the wall and walls was dirty. chairs in the room was stain with blood and drity. should no one have to stay at any room like that. we had stay for one night but the next morning we left becuse we just could not stay there .. I was a bit reluctant on this one because of the reviews I read. However, I really don't know who would rate this one bad! Maybe it's not for the really, really picky people. But it is definitely good enough for those of us who are only staying a couple of nights. Nice place.

If you're just looking for a place to sleep this is the place for you. No frills, but clean and friendly staff.

The toilet in our room was leaking every where. When you flush it the water came out from the back of it. I had my husband come in the bathroom because he is a plumber and he fixed it. When house keeping came in to clean the room before we got there should of noticed this problem and had it fixed before we came in to the room. This is a great hotel for the money as long as your looking for just someplace to stay. There are not a lot of amenities (but thats what you usually pay big bucks for). Rooms do have a small refrigerator and a microwave.

Hotel was not very well kept, non-smoking rooms next door to and accross the hall from smoking rooms (everything smells like smoke), not to impressed, but i guess there is a reason its a 2 star and not a five..

A dark, dingey hotel. Not terrible but definitely needs updating. Had burn holes in the non-smoking rooms sheets.

Friendly staff. Quick to respond to requests. Spoke very fast, so listen carefully.

This hotel was hard to get to, kind of sticky, but on a good note it had a great staff

My fiancee and I arrived at the hotel well before check-in and asked if could check in early. The staff informed us that our room was not quite ready yet, but that if we came back in an hour it would be ready. Sure enough, when we returned the room was ready and they allowed us to check in a couple hours early. The room smelled, no towels in bathroom. Couldn't call out on room phone. Paid $20 deposit to make calls (local) and could only make 2!! The location is bad, not next to anything.

had a couch, table, microwave & fridge. Clean rooms. Only problem was rough towels. Unbelievable deal for what you pay though!

Considering what we paid for it, we did have a nice stay. The location wasn't bad (better than the south side Days Inn for sure) and good breakfast. No elevator, which was weird - but I guess more so an issue for a disabled guest (they must reserve the first floor?).

Good hotel! would stay again!

We had a 20 hour drive straight from Austin to this hotel. When we checked in it was 5am. The check-in was smooth and were in our room in less than 15 minutes upon our arrival. When we woke up it was around 11am and I called to see when the hours breakfast was served. The lady at the front desk said the breakfast had ended at 10am. I went up to the […] front anyway to get coffee and the same lady gave me bagels and cream cheese. Everything about our stay was fine until 3 nights into our stay. The hotel had maybe 10 guests total, lots of empty rooms, but for some reason the overnight clerk checked in elephants in the room above us at 3am. After calling the front desk to complain the noise ended in 5 minutes. The 4th and last night of our stay we made it a point to tell the front desk we were driving back to Texas at 6am the next morning. Not to my surprise, a group of about 8 people wanting to party checked in into the room next door to us at 2am. My boyfriend had said the noise went on for over an hour until I woke up to a woman's voices saying "are you serious" repeatedly. I called the front desk again and within minutes of calling the noise ended. I would say that this hotel was very pleasant during the day, but at night and towards the weekend you will be awoken by rude, disruptive noises. Devamı

The front desk workers were great and very friendly. The room was very clean and neat. Although the outside was a bit old looking. The inside was a bit old as well, but for the price everything was great. The continental breakfast wasn't the best. I would stay here again.

Due to construction in the area, it was hard to locate the motel. I am thankful to Garmin for taking me on an alternate route. Not sure I could found it otherwise.

could wash comforters and clean a little better but it was okay for the price. Not trump towers but not a run down building either. It was okay
