The shuttle kept driving past us while we were waving them down. When we called the hotel, they said he would be back in 15-20 mins. It was an hour before anyone came and we were already on our way to the hotel in a taxi that was worth the money over the Free shuttle. Time is money and if you are planning a late flight, don't count on the shuttle. We stayed here because we needed lodging to go on a cruise, for that it's great. The folks who do the pick ups at the airport/cruise are fantastic. Hotel staff is indifferent and busy, and the lobby is packed in the morning with shuttles being picked up, etc. Our 1st rooms were 105/106, right next to Karoke at the bar, you can fill in the blanks there. […] Room was old and worn from the 70's. Next stay was on the way home. We had 120 and 122. Sink was falling off wall, toilet teatered back and forth, outlet was right under the shelf with soap, so be careful! The floor was so black it stained our feet and the tub. The faucet handles are backwards, so it appears there is no hot water. If you turn the faucet on just ever so slightly, it's warm water. People stuff flyers for food delivery under the door every hour or so until 10 pm. Walls are paper thin and you can hear people arguing. Subway 1 block away to eat, and the diner in the lobby was good. We met some fantastic people waiting hours in the lobby while they "cleaned" the rooms. Outside of that, the the mattress on the bed was pretty good in both rooms and if you take something to sleep you can actually get a good nights rest. I think as it was a stepping stone in our travels to go on a cruise I would maybe use it again, as it was priced right and offers a shuttle, but be warned they do not pick you up after your cruise. They only drop you off at the pier. If you want picked up tell the driver taking you to the boat you need picked up. It was $10 per person or so to pick up, but worth it, as cab fare to go anywhere is at least 18-20 dollars each way. If you can put up some inconveinence, this is your hotel for the price, at least for now as they are planning a tear down/rebuild coming in the next year or so. We chose this hotel based on the free cruise shuttle, inexpensive price and wanted to use a hotels.com welcome rewards night. The Good: It had a free airport and cruise shuttle. The airport shuttle was a little bit of a wait, but was fine. The rooms were clean. Tom's NFL sports bar just a few blocks down has great food and beers. McDonalds and Subway […] also convenient. The bad: The complex is old and deteriorating. Beds were uncomfortable. We had only one towel left for us, and went to get another plus washcloths and handtowels. The front desk said, "housekeeping is gone for the day and we don't have any more." Seriously?! The lounge is gross, dark and smoky. The shuttle was a VERY old bus, which was technically ok, but don't expect a nice shuttle. Sign up for the shuttle when you make your reservation. They leave a few times a day, depending on the number of guests. Get on the earliest one possible, because it also left late and we wasted half our first day of the cruise. Devamı

stayed two nights at Days Inn North , I choose them because of location and free shuttle service to/from, airport and cruise port. Finally got picked up from airport , waited in Lobby for hours waiting for our rooms to be ready, first night not worth the wait room 310 was a disaster, toilet raised off floor on a makeshift pedistal , that had all the […] tiles laying there, they would fall off onto floor whenever you would use toilet, shower was just as bad of shape and would not drain, bed was small ,old and broken, wireless internet was intermitant. shuttle to cruise port went well. On my return to port for my second night, 11 days later started awful , they informed me no shuttle from port to motel, yet i saw the van go by me several times , took a taxi to motel waited for room , let them know i wanted a room near my sisters room 121 which was much better than 310 , eventully they put me in room 125 which was quite a bit better than previous stay, clean, not in disrepair , wifi still hit and miss but a much better bed and was able to get a good night sleep. morning shuttle went well. Employees were rude.The cafe employees were very nice.

The hotel lobby and room smelled like smoke and a locker room. There were ants in the room. Just needed a simple place to crash but wasn't able to sleep at all the second night so probably should have splurged and gotten a quality hotel room.

My husband and I stayed at Day's Inn Airport North Miami precruise. The hotel picked us up at the airport. Our room was large and fairly clean, though the bathroom could use some updating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The next day, we were shuttled to the port in an efficient manner. I booked this through hotels.com and when I got there the front desk said my reservation was cancelled by hotels.com and that there were no room to be had at all. I called them and they said that wasn't so. They then called the hotel and "straightened" things out. I eventually got a room. I dont know who was at fault for this. Not clean, Torn carpeting, cracked tiles. No towels until after 4 pm. $50 deposit to use the phone to call for a pizza because the cafe attached to the hotel, while attractive had almost nothing to eat. Out of bread, french fries. Only stayed for 1 night prior to heading down to Key West. Floors in the room were a bit nasty looking but overall the room was comfortable. Is a typically airport hotel and you hear the planes from the airport.

I was quite surprised at the sloppy maintenance of a hotel so close to a major airport. The carpet to my room was visibly stained and torn. My room was very small and the bathroom very tiny. The bathroom had no tub and only a flimsy shower curtain that was not sufficient to prevent the shower water from spilling over, And they had the nerve to put a […] queen sized bed in such a small room. It took up all the space. If one is of a size to need a queen sized bed, such a one would not be able to get around the bed or get in and out of the bathroom. The walls and ceilings showed signs of paint retouches to cover areas that really ought to be repainted, My flight was too early for me to care, but complimentary breakfast is also a thing of the past. Do NOT stay at this hotel. The staff was unpleasant and unhelpful, the bar is dismal. If you are even the slightest health conscious, there is nothing to choose from in their 'cafe'. The shuttle only runs hourly which is not too convenient and one could sand furniture with the towels provided. Go elsewhere!

The odor hits you once you enter. Our room had bed bugs, and the bathroom was awful. On the other hand the staff were tremendously helpful and very nice.

Very convienent, free shuttle, just fine for an overnight stay prior to going to the Port of Miami for a cruise.

This was a good hotel. Internet access was good for the most part. The location was great for the places that I visited in the Miami area. The only negative was the crazy car rental return directions and signage along the way...all I can say is good luck. Luckily, the airport wasn't far away.

The location or proximity to the airport was just what I was looking for but the condition of the hotel's entrance, and front desk left something to be desired. The room was clean and comfortalbe. All in all I needed a place to rest for a 16 hour lay over and thats what I got at a great rate, no more no less. the resturant and bar area were a smokey […] filled dingy area like something you'd find in a bus station. Okay seriously, stay here to sleep and nothing else. There were red handprints on the bathroom door, no not the kind that look like paint. The kind that look like a blood smear. We stayed here on a layover to costa rica, and fully understood that it was a cheap sleep, nothing else. Take it for the same. Days Inn, you should be ashamed of this one.

We arrived at midnight and left early the next morning to catch our flight. It was ok for a night stop. Not what we are used to staying in but the bed was clean as was the bathroom. For the price we paid we were satisfied. It is an old building with no lift but they did offer to get someone to help with our luggage. I would only recommend this for a […] stop over. The free shuttle was great although we had to wait quite a while for one to come along. You have to wave them down as they cruise past the airport. Devamı

The room was the grossest room ever!! I woke up at least 20 times because my bed was vibrating from the old floors! The bed is literally 4 feet from the door! As soon as you walk into the lobby, it smelled like a sweaty locker room! No where to go around there except Subway & McDonalds ! I have gone camping and stayed at motels., small cheap hotels […] but nothing like this!! NEVER EVER again! Even if I got a free room voucher ! Devamı

not very helpfull no lifts to rooms

Great place for a place to stay just for the night before a cruise. The price of the room includes transportation from the airport and transportation to the cruiseport. Hotel was just ok but we will definately stay there again.

We stayed only one night to catch a plane in the early morning. The rooms were unclean and crumbling. Good for a nights sleep for taking a flight if you get a good deal

It was great . verry good.

Horrible odor throughout hotel and room. Had to by a spray air freshner to be able to stay there.... In a terrible area, wife and I were afraid to walk to McDonalds and Subway that were a few blocks away. Free shuttle from Airport and to Cruise port is why we booked it, but that was a MISTAKE.... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I initially booked the room simply for a night stay before getting on a connecting flight to St Lucia. Horrible choice. As soon as me and my wife walked in we immediately thought about finding a different hotel and just forfeiting the money we had spent on the room. The overall condition of the […] room was in horrible shape - the ceiling looked as though it was going to cave in due to water damage, the bathroom and carpets were filthy. Neither me or my wife took off our shoes for the entire stay. The clock and tv did not work. Upon letting the staff know this they told us "Nothing we can do, this is what happens when you book the cheap room". We were there for all of 6 hours and it was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had. I believe me and my wife got about 1 hour of sleep due to worrying about bugs crawling on us during the night. If you are thinking about booking a nights stay for the convenience of the airport shuttle please think again. You'll be better off and more comfortable sleeping at the airport gate. Devamı

very good hotel we love you thank you

A very good hotel with free shuttle bus. They are on time . and friendly.

We had Ants in the whole Room. The HOTEL manager was embarrassed about this situation. He told me that will send an advise to return us the money for that NIGHT. Was the worse experience we had in a long time!! I hope we can get compensate for such a terrible experience. Be carefull to recomend the hotel to your other customers.

Hotel was clean, no frills. Comfortable bed, old furnishings. Had room next to street could hear traffic and airplanes all night. There is a small cafe on the premises, restaurants within walking distance and had free airport pickup and port of miami shuttle. Staff were all friendly and eager to please. Good hotel for the price and convenience to cruise […] ships. No hassle for airport pickup or delivery to port for cruise ship. Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted by courteous personnel. But there was a problem with my reservation my sister had made our reservation and we were to have a queen bed with a sofa bed or roll-a-way bed in our room. The room that I was given had a (queen) bed and a table with 2 chairs. I immediately went to the office and ask for the manager […] and informed him of the error. He told me that was all that he had available, I reminded him of our reservation and what we had paid for. I was told to contact the someone at the 800 number regarding the problem. I contacted them and they agreeded as to what we had paid and requested, the representative asked to speak to the manager on duty. They conversed and the hotel manager asked me to allow him some time to finish checking in customers. When he finished he told me that he had a room for me. Upon entering the room the beds had been made I agreed to the room. After the attendant left the room I noticed the bathroom was not clean and dirty towels was also in the bathroom. We didn't realized we would be rooming at a different section and not the main building. The outdoor pool was decent but it was too quiet for us to take a dip in the pool. The room smelled like cleaning bleach but was overall clean. The room overall is old. Everything was decent. Don't expect too much from this hotel. The Hotel was very convienent to the Airport and the bed was very comfortable but the Hotel is very old.

We stayed here overnight on our way back from our honeymoon. It was definitely a sour ending to an otherwise fantastic trip. The manager at the front desk was friendly and checked us in quickly. Unfortunately that's where the positive feedback ends. Once we received our room key, we turned to head to our room. On the wall was a cockroach so large […] it could have carried our bags for us. All hyperbole aside, it was about 2.5 inches long. Our hotel room was in a separate building from the main lobby, so we had to run through the rain to get to our room. All in all it wasn't a horrible experience, but who wants to get soaking wet at 11pm after sitting on an airplane for 6 hours? The room was a further disappointment. The fixtures and bedding were from the 80's, so the mildew smell was probably there since the 90's. The AC unit was just below the thin curtains that faced the parking lot, so turning on the AC meant the curtains blew open and everyone could see in your room. I eventually had to put my shoes on the curtains to keep them from blowing open. The bathroom was small and dirty. The shower had tiles missing. There was a large hole where the tub faucet met the shower wall. Who knows where that hole goes and what wildlife lives in the darkness? The comforter was thin and had seen better days. It was worn down to the point where it felt crunchy, almost like fuzzy cardboard. We took it off the bed before we slept. Weary from a day of travel and jet lagged beyond belief, we set the alarm for 7am so we could catch the 8am shuttle. The alarm went off, we got ready, and we got on the shuttle....only to find out that the clock was wrong in our room and it was actually 6:55am, meaning we could have slept in an extra hour. Okay hotel to stay in for one night when waiting for flights. Good service and the staff are very helpfull. If you can`t stand the noice from planes landing and lifting then this hotel is nothing for you. You hear every flight. Has internet computer that you can use for no cost.

The hotel was clean and very close to the international miami airport almost 5 min. The room had refrigerator and microwave, and was very confortable. My recommendation is to reserve all nights by hotel.com, I did not do that, and I reserved the finals two nigths direct to the hotel and cost doubled.
