I would prefer if the marriott would have black out curtains. there is no way to clase the drapes excpet for the sheers and there is quite a bit of ambient light at night.

Great place to stay. Courteous staff, excellent facilities and soft beds. What more could you want?

I had two big dissappointments at this hotel. I stayed on a Saturday night with an early morning Sunday flight. First, since I had a very early morning flight I wanted to drop my car off at the car rental place (about 1/2 mile away) and have the hotel shuttle pick me up and take me back to the hotel. Marriott courtyard refused! I took the car back […] to National and they bent the rules had an employee in a car take me back to Marriott. I gave them a nice $25 tip. Way to go Marriott! Second, the hotel had lukewarm water the morning I check out. I was literally shaking since the water was not warm but just above cold even with the shower on maximum temperature. The rooms are large and everything in the rooms worked well, except the internet. Cable not wireless. It was painfully slow. I tried to download 5 songs which took about 2 hours to download and the network tried to knock me off every couple of minutes so I had to over-ride the cancel button about 84 times! Also, the pool room is like a gas chamber. […] TONS of screaming kids jumping into the pool & hot (warm) tub. The chlorine level in the hot tub was high enough to treat the entire city's water supply!!! The staff were REALLY helpful and the breakfast was nothing short of amazing, which really surprised us. Very large servings and cooked perfectly. The new remodel was nice and there's some great relaxing places to hang out in the dining area. Nice TV, shower was good, and everything was nice and clean. Hair in the tub. Room didn't smell clean; smelled like febreeze. A little dated. The one thing I require is cleanliness and I didn't get it. I had higher expectations. Disappointed.

This hotel is easy to get to... near restaurants... and well maintained. Good choice.

I was dreading staying at this place, in the armpit of the airport. I don't usually like national chains - even the higher ones - because I love character in a place when I travel. A memorable sense of place. Chains usually don't offer that, though they do have their upsides. This Courtyard by Marriott really breaks the mold, though. The newly re-designed […] lobby has a little coffee shop/restaurant that serves food that is actually tasty, and reasonably priced. The design was contemporary and comfortable. Staff was all over-the-top helpful. The location - right by the airport - doesn't offer a lot in the way of amenities (aside from a fantastic Lebanese restaurant nearby, Beirut). It is right on the freeway, though, and you're only a half-hour from both downtown Detroit, Ann Arbor, or Dearborn, all of which are great travel locations. The in-room internet does suck. It is wired and painfully slow. But! The hotel does now offer wi-fi in the public areas, and the wi-fi is super fast. So are the computers offered for public use in the tiny business center. Rooms are well-cleaned and comfortable, with a good cable package for people who care about that, including a few HD movie channels and HBO. I'm sure there are nice, locally-owned places to stay in the Detroit airport, but if you're sequestered by the airport for work like I was, it is hard to beat this place. Devamı

We were concerned about possible noise because we liked the convience of being close to the airport but wondered if we would sleep well. It was great. We slept well and we were taken to the airport on time in the morning after having an early breakfast. Thanks.

I would recommend the hotel due to friendliness of staff and comfort of the room. Heater is quiet. However, Planes taking off and landing are very loud. If you don't mind that noise, it is a fine place to stay. It is definitely close to the airport.

tried out this Marriot and definitely not the same as the other that was close by...the Fairfield. Under reno's and the girl at the desk seemed unhappy to help out. Fortunately the other person was for us as we had two very tired children. We confirmed with Expedia that we had the parking and was told very curtly that we did not and that it wasn't up […] to them. Let me tell you lady...you are standing there and as your job you are to actually help the customer as to why things didn't turn out the way I had perceived them to be. That is your job regardless if I did in fact book on line or not. Getting defensive doesn't help the situation it only aggravates it. Please just help out and either find out from your manager or co-worker who seemed to actually care. One good thing, I guess is that when the yahoo's next door were drinking up a storm were told to be quiet they did. We called the front to let them know that we could here a major party happening. Not a stick in the mud but I've slept in many a hotel. It's adequate for sure. Clean but the other is much nicer. Stay at the Fairfield. Devamı

This hotel is right next to Detroit Metro Airport and has a shuttle service. The hotel staff was very helpful.

This is my second stay at the Detroit Airport Courtyard Marriott. I chose it this time because my last stay was good and it was close to the weekend wedding activities I had to attend. All of the personnel I encountered were outgoing and friendly. Two of them went the extra mile for me - as a single lady attending occasions that required dressing up, […] I needed help zipping and unzipping my dresses! The two ladies were on duty Friday, October 1, around 4pm, Saturday, October 2, around 11am and again on Saturday around 8:30 pm. Many thanks ladies! My only negative comment about the hotel is one that they can't do anything about - airplane noises. Fortunately, I didn't hear it late at night. The room was large, comfortable and clean and I would stay there again. Devamı

This hotel is right near the airport with a bunch of other chains which means you can book somewhere else. The staff is great but the hotel is dated and my room smelled like moth balls. We were only their 8 hours this one feels like something from the 1970's.

I liked this hotel. It was affordable and convienient with a friendly staff. I will more than likely choose this hotel when I visit Michigan
