Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Downtown/Convention Center - New Orleans

Very well located in New Orlenas for an overnight stay prior to boarding a cruise liner. Also handy to French Qtrs.

Very convienent location, prior to our cruise departure. Walking distance to the French Qtr. Great staff that was very friendly & accomadating. Convenently & securely held our luggage upon our cruise return, while we enjoyed New Orleans prior to our departing flight.

the room was very nice,but... the pool area was a lot to be desired. The pool deck wasnt clean, the pool had dead worms in it all week long never cleaned. I was surprised that there wasnt a shower outside to rince off before intering the pool. the hot tub also was dirty. other than that it was ok. the really need to work on the pool area. thats all […] i have to say about that. sorry Devamı

Although this Marriott was very clean and modern, our room was situated right next to a very loud night club. We specifically chose this hotel because it was away from the French Quarter, but the noise level was still a little too much.

Hotel nice but need to have safe in rooms for personal items

Nice hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Staff was very friendly.

Only complaint I have is that there were not enough valets. It took FOREVER to get our car. I would stay again, though. Far enough from French Quarter craziness and several upscale restaurants are within walking distance. Try Luke!

Spent Mardi Gras in this hotel, it was a nice stay, the only problem is the distance from Bourbon street. Just be prepared to take a taxi. :)

Having onsite parking a plus. Close to French Quarter and alot less expensive than if we stayed in French Quarter. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to go or hop on the streetcar.

Staff was exceptional....rooms very clean....parking was ridiculously overpriced...taking advantage of Mardi Gras to a whole other crazy level (I'm surprised they didn't wear masks when quoting the daily bill).......Same applies to drinks: a plastic cup filled just over half way with a cheap import for much to much!!!! Impressed with the service. Staff was very helpful. Room was spotless everyday (3 night stay). A bit far from French quarter, about 20 min walk. Overall 4.5 out of 5.

The hotel it self was amazing. Very nice. The only thing I could say is that the staff could have been a little bit more friendlier. Check in was a bit confusing we asked for the valet parking we didn't get the ticket we needed for it and had to come back wait thru the check in line to get our ticket and then get out car parked. Later we asked for a […] suggestion of a place to eat which was good. But the girl really didn't give us any selections just stood there and said I think this restaurant is good. When walking out of the hotel on the southern side looks like a abandoned ware house. It was a bit scary. But overall we had a wonderful time in New Orleans and the hotel was very nice. Devamı

Very convenient to the Port of New Orleans. Plenty of restaurants in the area too.

We arrived the night before for our cruise the next day. We walked 1 block to the cruise terminal, as well walked a few blocks to the Riverwalk to the French Quarter Market. We also had no problem walking to Burbon St. and The Jackson Square area. Jackson Square area "lights up" on Sat. it seems.

This hotel is situated next to a club that plays loud music every night including Sunday till all hours of the night. The hotel itself was nice but I will never consider staying there again.

the Courtyard by Marriott in which we stayed was very nice. the beds were super comfy, and the location was PERFECT! it's only a couple blocks away from the River Walk and the Convention Center. Bourbon st. and other attractions are also within walking distance. the only thing i wished i had been warned about was the price of parking. $28 per night […] and valet only. you don't have the option to park your own car :( i had only worked about $12 per night into the budget since that's the typical average rate for hotel parking in NO...just a heads up :) other than that, though, the hotel is great! You have a great location.Walking distance for dinning not more than 4 blocks.Your hotel will be my first choice when returning to New Orleans.

We got a great price on hotels.com, the hotel staff was courteous and friendly, the room was well maintained, althought the sink area was very small, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The convenience of the location in the warehouse district made the stay even more enjoyable because we could walk to 4 star restaurants, bars, and cultural events.

Central location to N.O. areas. Walking distance to WW II museum (outstanding), French Qtr and garden district. Outstanding location for cruise ships. Walked to the ship. Beds were very comfortable, hot tub and pool area may have leaves depending on time of year.

We booked the Courtyard for a night since the next day my family and I embarked at a cruise ship. The port was just two blocks away from the hotel. Excellent!!!!

Only thing missing in our room soap. We were told by one of the housekeepers that we had to call down to the desk and request soap. We did and still did not get soap. Went down later and the person at the desk was very helpful and had no idea why we did not have soap in our room. Overall the staff was great and very helpful. Hotel is close to most major sights.The pool and hot tub are seasonal,which I did not know before hand.Price is good for the area.

The place was pretty nice for relatively cheap close to the french quarter. It's about 1 mile away from the heart of the French Quarter. It is not a safe walk if you are alone or just a couple at night time. There are a ton of shady people at night and it isn't really well lit for like a 1/2 mile towards the city. It's really close to canal, the riverwalk […] and harrah's. The rooms were really comfortable and there's even free coffee in the morning. Devamı

This hotel overall was nice. The lobby area is not warm and welcoming. It almost seems like it's in the midst of renovations. The rooms are attractive, clean and comfortable - especially the beds. Loved the pillows! The second day we were there they gave us bath towels that were still very damp from the laundry. We had to hang them up around the bath […] to dry. Did not eat in the "restaurant" but we were walking toward it one evening to see if we could get a soda and one of the staff told us in a loud rude tone that it was not open. She said it twice in the same tone which was not necessary. Very rude! The valet staff was exceptionally nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. PS If you are not used to walking a lot this is a far walk from the French Quarter. Devamı

Overall it was nice, the people were great and helpful. My room was ok except that it smelled like old carpet and there were rust stains in the shower. Loved the bedding thou.

we stayed only one night and the stay was worth stay love it and would like to go back again....

I knew legal check in was at 03:00pm. but Arrived with children at aNoon and went walking tourstie things..called several times to see if room was available. Not happening..Came back to Hotel at 2:30 but they made us wait until exactly 03:00pm to get a room I had tired children... I know what they did met all legal obligations.. But it was pure poor […] business.. I would like to know is it because we used Hotel.com for a cheaper rate.... Not enough towels and shampoo for 2 children and two adults...check in service was really not to my liking and I would never star there again.. Devamı

Mold in the bathroom, hairs on bed and shower, $28 a day parking..far from the French quarter..don't recommend this hotel and actually cutting my stay short

The Julia Street location was ideal, the art galleries going toward St. Charles were top notch. The area was safe during the day and probably at night too, but we took a cab back. If you are going on a cruise, you can walk to the terminal, either the Julia or Erato. The trolley to the French Quarter is a block away and very fun to take. Nice hotel, not far to walk to French Qtr, cruise ships, museums or downtown. Great people, helped with tours. Hot tub was nice, pool was ok. Bed was great. Starbucks in hotel.

When we got to the hotel, we were not prepared to pay $28.00 for parking. When we got to our room, the door was open, there were no pillow cases on the pillows and the towel selection was not complete. Had to change rooms.

This hotel had a good location. We walked to Cafe de Monde easily. The value was the best part. Warehouse District is off the beaten path, but close enough to everything, including the casino, the French Quarter and numerous great restaurants.

Wonderful experience from the valet parking, check-in and out. Employees were very helpful. Location was awesome for the attractions we were on town for. The food in the resturant was a little pricey but worth it.

the room was great and the breakfast was outstanding i just hate that there was not a ride to the dock to catch our boat.the reason for staying so close to the dock was that we thought we would not have to catch a cab.bit all in all it was great

General conditions of the hotel cannot be assessed since it was under renovation. We would have appreciated if we had been warned that the hotel was undergoing such a renovation on its infrastructure. Also no mention is made when reserving through internet at hotels.com to the fact that parking is usually full on weekends and guests must pay valet parking […] which implies an additional charge of $ 8 per night. Great location but noisy due to lots of construction.

The hotel was under construction which made it difficult to navigate. Request an interior room or the street noise will keep you awake. The location was convenient. The parking fee was excessive considering they aren't responsible for any damage or theft. Bring your own pillows, the hotel pillows are small. No vent fan in the bathroom. Went to New Orleans for one night, the hotel is going through rennovations. So, it was a pain. Parking is $28 per night. All in all, we would go back but I expected a little more.

1. The hotel is undergoing major renovation work , which we were not informed about. The pool was closed, and therw was a lot of noise. 2. The room was really nice - but house-keeping apparently 'forgot' to clean our room and replace towels, which we realized only when we returned back to our rooms hot, sticky and longing for a shower, at 10PM. 3. The […] breakfast was mediocre. 4. I requested my room bill the night before, as I was leaving at 6:00AM. Did not get it. When I called again, I was informed it would be slipped under my door early morning. It did not happen. So I had to physically go to the reception and obtain it! Overall.... conveniently located, clean nice room, relatively cheap. But service is poor and the ongoing renovation work is a pain. Devamı
