Hyatt Place Chicago/ Schaumburg - Schaumburg

The modern feel to the guest room was a nice change from the typical 3 star hotel. Large screen tv a plus, free Wi-Fi was appreciated. We brought our own cables to attach the laptop to the tv (for the dvd's we also brought along), but the sound did not work. The hotel movie my spouse watched was too pricey, but the free tv was just fine. Others complained […] about freeway noise...we did not notice it much at all. The beds were a bit too firm for our liking, but lovely linens. The quality of included breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed several other hotel meals that we ate in the gallery. The cleaning staff were quiet in the morning and did not bother us at all. The hosts were all top-notch, courteous and helpful. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Would definitely choose this hotel again. We all (5 rooms) enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fresh & modern looking. The breakfast was fantastic; especially the hot breakfast sandwiches. The drinks and food in the snack bar area (located adjacent to the check-in desk) were way over prices ($10 for a small sub-sandwich!) All in all, I highly recommend this property.

Nice hotel, nice pool, only trouble was the shower drain was clogged.

I had a room here for one night before a local job interview. The hotel is in Schaumburg a suburb of Chicago and about 45-60 minutes from the city. But for me, the location was perfect. Ordered a room with two beds only got a room with one bed. Hard to converse around the wall divider. Pool/ hot tub closed too early at ten for late travelers to unwind.

This hotel is awesome!!!! Very warm and inviting!!!! I enjoyed my stay and so did my children, We booked a total of 5 rooms and they all were amazing. The rooms looked exactly like they did on the pictures on hotel.com. My family and I were very satisfied with this hotel and plan to stay again during future events.

Great hotel in a great location. Minutes from the Woodfield Mall and Ikea. Looking forward to going back soon.

Very nice hotel for low $. Room was huge and comfortable for adult and 2 teens. Will stay here next time in the area.

Great location to IKEA , Wood field Mall, restaurants and all kinds of shopping. Nice breakfast buffet in morning.Soda machines and ice makers would be nice on each floor.

We took our kids for a mini stay-cation and were completely happy with the room and facility. Great room with plenty of space for two small children and an infant, and we even got a free room upgrade from the hotel when we checked in.

Rooms were really nice, loved the couch and fridge area! Bathroom is really small but served it's purpose. Big flat screen tv was great too!

Great hotel for a family. It was close to activites and food. The kids loved the pool and the large "living area" in the hotel room. The beds were small but had a large sofa in living room area. The free breakfast was GREAT!! Pancakes, french toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast and bagels. It was a great hotel, we would absolutely stay there again.

This hotel has very modern decor and the Deli is very convenient for a tasty sandwich if you rather stay in. The surrounding area abounds with may choices for food, shopping and entertainment. My daughter and I held a study jam session before her exam early the next day. Staying at this hotel kept us from having to get up so early and driving in from […] the far suburbs. I stayed at this hotel in December of r2011 for my BDAY and it was GREAT!! I had no complaints what so ever and I am VERY picky. The room was very clean and cozy, room service was efficient with bringing extra things that were needed, complementary breakfast was nice and FREE, and check-out wasn’t until 12pm, not to mention the price of the room was […] “AFFORDABLE”. Hotel was nice had to wait and have another customer find front desk person to check in. Service at that point was good... room very nice... overnight. Room ran hot and could not control heat thermostat. Otherwise very nice hotel. Minor inconveniences. Would stay again.

great hotel, nice staff, only bad part, we were there during the snow storm and the plows didn't start until 11:00 pm and were going until 3:00 am, was loud with freeway and all the parking areas around the hotel. (not really anything the hotel could do)

No complaints- great place to stay on vacation!

Very impressed with their breakfast service and the server they had working. Felt more like I was at a restaurant then a hotel continental. The rooms were very clean and the hotel looked nicely kept. Wish the pool was a little bigger, but the warmth was nice :)

This is a very good hotel. Don't hesitate to stay. I like this hotel so much. Hotel condition are very good. Room/bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is nice and complimentary. High speed wifi internet available in the rooms and it is free. Parking is free. I think, it's relatively cheap for it's standards.

Clean room, nice flat screen TV, good breakfast. However, no free coffee or tea offered at the lobby after breakfast. I like other hotels offering free cup of coffee or tea at the lobby. I was asked to pay $3 for a cup of tea in the evening at this hotel. Even though I had free tea bags in the room (no hot water, though), all I wanted to have was a […] decaf tea and I was asked to pay for that. Devamı

This hotel is in a great location in Schaumburg. I would consider this a new age hotel, the lobby is very open and inviting. They have a bar and a casual seating area right next to check in. The decor of the hotel is simplistic but elegant. The major upside to this hotel is the layout of the room. I stayed in a single King, when you first walk in there […] is an L shape couch, small wet bar and small desk/table with chair. Hung on the wall across couch was a large flat panel TV that was shared with the bedroom. There is a small partition between the couch and bed to separate the room nicely. I will stay in a Hyatt Place whenever I can. It had been a while since I stayed in a hotel, but they've redefined what a hotel should be. A few notes about this location: There seemed to be a large number of families staying at the hotel, so on the plus side it was quiet at night. Down side is that the breakfast area was complete chaos in the morning. Not a big deal if you're fan of grabbing breakfast and taking back up to your room like I am. The pool and hot tub were great. Nice large "semi-suite" room. Little wet-bar and fridge, couch, writing desk, nice huge footstool. Great TV and was easy to hook up to any PC or smartphone to watch a movie. Great place. Will stay there again.

This hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are very spacious. The TV is mounted on the wall and is adjustable for viewing angles. The service here is excellent. They even offer a breakfast in the morning! I have stayed here many times and will continue to stay here.

We have been staying in Hyatt Place in multiple cities. We still like it as it is the best in the class. We believe it is better than regular 3-star. The breakfast and coffee are great. They weren't able to keep up with breakfast and ran out of food or couldn't fill up as quickly. The hotel needs more space to accomodate guests for breakfast. The exercise room needs to be cleaned and de-ordorized. Also some minor repairs were overlooked in my room.

This hotel is amazing. Exceeded all of our expectations. It is very clean. Don't know if all the rooms are the same but our room was huge. We were there for the Lego Discovery Center (about 10 mins away). It is not the closest hotel to Lego Discovery Center but I think it is one of the best. Free WiFi and free Starbucks coffee too.
