Magnolia Hotel Denver - Denver

The hotel is an easy walk to many sites, shoppes and restaurants. Our room was small with the television places at an awkward angle. The complimentary breakfast was ample and very nice. My first room was horribly noisy as it was over the parking garage and the generator roared all night. The worst thing was that I specifically asked the woman at the front desk if I was getting a good room since I was staying for nine nights and she assured me that this was one of the best rooms. Two nights of no sleep and I moved to another room which […] had an air conditioning unit that roared like a jet engine. We rented a King suite, it had a full kitchen and separate living space. Loved the staff, they were very polite and helpful. Hotel is downtown so it was a little noisy for sleeping. Breakfast was included as was a milk and cookie time in the evening. Used the pool table in the basement to hang out with friends after our meeting. Will stay again!

I was happy with the hotel and with the service that I received during my stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I thought parking was a little bit expensive, but within reason. The breakfast was good and was consistent. The cookies at night were a real treat. I did think the carpeting and some of the interior looked a little tired and worn […] in places. Devamı

Very nice hotel, valets were very friendly and informative! I was however disappointed that one of our 3 rooms that I had reserved was not ready at check-in. We had to wait for about an hour before t was cleaned. Also, I had requested that all our rooms be close to one another, two of them were but one was on the complete opposite side of the hotel. […] All three rooms were priced te same but two of them were considerably smaller than the other. I will stay here again, but next time I will be more clear with what I expect in turn for what we paid. Devamı

This was our first time at the Magnolia Hotel and our stay exceeded all expectations. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a four room, king suite with fireplace and kitchenette. Amazing. We were within walking distance of the 16th Street Mall, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the bike trails, and never needed our car. I was very close to the convention center and to all the must-see places. The valet service was phenomenal. Plus all the mountains were pretty close to this location. I couldn't be happier.

Overall, the Magnolia is a decent hotel, but there were a few things that hurt my rating for them, and would make me unlikely to stay there again. There are no open-able windows in the room, so there's no access to fresh air. The service staff (room service, housekeeping requests) was generally a little rude (not everyone, but more than a few we encountered). […] Also, there were several occasions where requests to the front desk for things like extra towels, or a bellhop, required a follow up call because no one ever showed up. The free wi-fi, cookies, drinks, and breakfast are certainly a huge perk, and were all very nice to have. As with most hotel Internet access though, the wi-fi was generally under 1Mbps, and sometimes as low as a few hundred kbps--too slow for anything but checking email. Devamı

The valets were wonderful! They were very helpful in taking me to and picking me up from the UCD campus.

The hotel had a friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. The lower level of the hotel is undergoing renovations so the seating area for breakfast was less than ideal. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Went for a conference and it was perfect. Great breakfast and cocktail hour was a bonus. Can't beat the location and the customer service was top notch. I will be back.

Would definitely recommend to others. Not only would we recommend to others, we would book it again if we went to Denver. Great complimentary breakfast and cookies at night. Reasonable rates.

The hotel meet all our needs. We were in town for a long weekend visiting relatives. The Magnolia was a great value for the price. It included breakfast which was an added bonus. The hotel had a boutique feel. Our room was on the south side. If you have a problem sleeping, the noise from the light rail cars that ran along the street might be a bother. […] All in all I would recommend staying here and would certainly book this hotel again when in Denver. I had a conference at the Denver convention center. This hotel was literally half the cost of the convention hotels, within easy walking distance, and easy walking distance to and from downtown. There is also a shuttle from the airport to and from this hotel for one of the cheapest shuttles. Drinks in the evening, breakfast in the morning and a gym. […] I was glad I stayed here and will do it again. Devamı

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia. We got the king suite which was beautiful-full kitchen and little living room, 2 TVs, comfy bed that was more on the squishy side than the hard side. Nice big bathroom. The complimentary wine/beer, cookies and milk and the breakfast were all superb. Location is perfect-right off 16th St mall and all the attractions, […] movies and shopping. The girls' Final Four was due to start at Pepsi Center that weekend so we had the Stanford band and cheerleaders doing impromptu concerts down the mall on Friday night-really fun! The staff at the hotel were great- we got checked in at around 1 PM instead of 3 because the room was ready. All in all we could not be happier with our stay and would love to check out the other Magnolia hotels in Texas and other places! They seem to be well-run and just beautiful. Very good hotel as a 3.5 star rated hotel. Couldn't ask for more. Excellent location -2min walk to convention centre and mall. Train/bus nearby. Building is much older and not flashy modern, but seems to have been maintained and room was quite comfortable with newish carpets and furnishings. Kitchenette was older but I was pleased to have a full-sized […] fridge. Had an oven and microwave. Not much to cook with though. Comfy bed. A bit more lighting in the bedroom would have been good. On first floor so had noise from street - not over the top though. Bathroom clean, older style. Breakfast adequate, not a huge spread, but enough variety - typically choice of 3 cereals, then toast/bagels, whole fruit, hot food = scrambled eggs, chipolata sausages, porridge, and then a varying omelette, croissant something each day. Saturdays seemed to be waffle day which was great. The usual tea/coffee/juice. They need to extend breakfast hours though for those who like to sleep in - 6-9am weekdays, 7-10am weekends. Some other highlights - free beer/wine 5:30-6:30pm and cookies/milk/coffee/some berries at 8-10pm. Free-wifi that was reasonably fast (ie. I had no problems with email/websites, and also used skype) was very convenient. I would definitely stay again and would reccommend to others looking for a decent and comfortable hotel stay. Devamı

huge room, excellent service, free happy hour and breakfast. Checked me in early, was prompt in every service, very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Awesome place to stay. Free happy hour everynight with a great breakfast. You can argue with that. Also the location was perfect and the service was comparable to the Hyatt but with down to earth staff members.

Everthing was awesome, especially the robes!

Would have liked to see a pool somewhere in there, but the cost compared to others was reasonable, AND it included breakfast, which is somewhat difficult to find around Denver on a Sunday morning.

What an excellent weekend we had in downtown Denver, The hotel was convenant to all area locations downtown. The door guys were wonderful help on all area attractions and eating and breweries we wanted to go to!!! Cant wait to go back and stay again!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Magnolia! Loved the cookie bar at night. Everything was great, service was top notch and we were able to walk to any entertainment that we wanted to (although there is a complimentary taxi service for in town destinations and your very near the trolly stop if you prefer other modes of transportation). We have been staying at the Magnolia for years. the rates are reasonable, the rooms are lovely and the extras (breakfast, happy hour ect make it a best buy. Plus it is one block off the 16th street mall and walking distance to theater and sporting events.

Loved my stay at this wonderful Hotel. Staff and accommodations XLNT! Need one in NOLA PHX and LA. Stellar interactions with the Concierge, Tim who went out of his way to help me during Restaurant Week ! Our recent stay at the Magnolia Denver was a pleasant suprise. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was abundant and a nice suprise, because when I booked the reservation, i couldnt find that they had a complimentary breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful!
