Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Des Moines West - West Des Moines

I was most impressed with the staff, their positive attitudes, kindness, and willingness to do anything and everything to make our stay a pleasurable one. When we encountered a problem (not caused by or a result of anything related to our actual stay at the hotel or their direct services at all) the staff were quick to respond, assist in every way possible, […] and ensure that everything was taken care of immediately. They responded with up to date phone calls on our situation even after we checked out and continued to do so until problem was rectified. I give them 5 stars!!!! Devamı

This hotel was easy to locate right off of Interstate 80. My only suggestion would be that it could use a sign at the corner where you turn into the hotel parking lot as it is not clear which road to use as there are several businesses situated in front of the hotel. It is very close to great shopping, lots of restaurants, and a movie theater.

Nice hotel, only downside was closeness to the highway and traffic noise. Get a room on the South side (front) of the hotel if you can to reduce noise. Great location very near Jordan Creek mall with restaurants and stores

Quiet, clean and comfortable -- everything we were looking for on a recent one night visit. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. Would stay again if traveling through Des Moines.

Poor maintenance of the 4th floor that I was staying on. The wallpaper in the halls was falling down and in my room the caulk was peeling off of everything. The towels smelled really badly of chlorine and were the roughest towels I have ever used. Overall I had good service there though.

I couldn't believe it was affiliated with marriott. Our room had a nasty musty smell to it. And the bathroom was weird.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Huge room. Close to great mall and restaurants, as well as highway. That was the only problem -- without a/c I could hear highway noise at night. Might be a problem for light sleepers.

Conveniently located just off I-80. It is adjacent to a shopping center; there are many dining options. Staff was very professional and efficient. The reservation included an expanded continental breakfast. I was there on business yet many of the other guests were attending a high school basketball play-off. Much to my delight, staff was clear regarding […] student behaviour and I was pleasantly suprised when they kept the order without creating tensions. I will definitely stay again. Devamı

Everything was very adequate. Building was neat, well maintained, very clean. Room was very comfortable, clean. Free breakfast was good too with some healthy choices. Great buy for the money. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel is near the highway, but you can't even hear from your room if you ask for one the South side.

Great customer service, you will feel that you are welcome. It was my first trip to IA and I now have a feeling that people are likewise across! Well done Fairfield. I did not like the upfront Credit Card charges (it is a pending charge which will go after a few days) instead of a general "hold" of the CC. Improvement - If Fairfield is advertising […] it's free breakfast, it perhaps need an improvement. Devamı
