De Rose Palace Hotel - Floransa

Some of hotel staff were very gracious, but 2 of the men working the registration desk appeared irritated when requesting assistance - additional pillows, help with hotel computer

I stayed at De Rose Palace for 2 nights on a mini-vacation. For the most part the hotel room was very clean and elegantly furnished. It is located in a nice neighborhood and is close walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was friendly and did help with questions and setting up dinner reservations. It […] was relatively hot during the middle part of March and the A/C was not turned on, so I had to open a window to let some cooler outside air in the room to allow it to get to a comfortable level. When I did this, I noticed that the window screen was covered in pollen and had some moldy residue on it, which caused me some breathing difficulty. From the moment we walked into the hotel lobby we knew we were in for a good stay. All of the staff that we encountered throughout our stay were extremely helpful, and accommodating and always greeted us with a cheery smile and were very willing to get us anything and everything that we needed. Our room was lovely and clean, but nor was it stark and […] bare....the decor was tastefully done, the beds were comfortable and we were always warm enough (important in the middle of winter!). The continental breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection of food. The location by the river was really nice, and we enjoyed walking along the river. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone! Devamı

Close to everything. Would stay again

Pros: 1. relatively near to train station though not walking distance if you have large luggages 2. quiet neighbourhood yet wihtin walking distance to shopping and the main attractions viz Uffizi and the Duomo Cons: 1. extremely rude reception (male with moustache) - gave rude, incoherent and nonchalant answers to basic questions like where is the main […] shopping street and how to get to the Mall (to which he asked it is out of Florence which we obviously know 2. extremely rude receptionist (had to repeat this as he was the receptionist throughout our stay) 3. no real amenities around the area like convenience stores etc 4. Rather dark and dirty toilet Overall the hotel is the worst (in terms of service and overall experience) i have stayed in 7 nights in Italy (including Roma, Vincenza and Milano). Devamı

PARKING 25 EURO PER DAY. FREE ROOM INTERNET. FREE SMALL CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL MUST SEE IN FLORENCE. ROOM 103 LARGE, NICE AND CLEAN. WILL COME AGAIN.

De Rose Palace Hotel near to town center and attraction sites. The room was cosy and relaxing. Breakfast was good with alot to choose from. The staffs were helpful.

Not a 3 star hotel. Rooms are very small, hotel needs a face lift.

The hotel was one of the worst during our 10 days visit to Italy. The day and night clerk did the minimal, nothing extra. They did not have a computer with internet for guest, and directed us to the train station internet kiosk on the ground level, but would not call to see the times they were open, thus after 10 p.m. sending guests to check an underground […] retail level, poor service. They were good about recommending restaurants. Breakfast was poor, quality and quanity. By 9 a.m. 2 of the 3 days ran out of the ham and cheese, and 1 day ran out of the bread. A guest asked whether they could bring out more, and were told no. Thus they ate cracker and jam. The room was fairly good size but very shabby. Rome 3 stars much better. Devamı

It is a nice hotel though nothing special. Its in a pleasant quiet neighborhood with convenient shops and restaurants. Its close to the train station and the car rental agencies Its a bit too much of a walk from the sights at the end of a long day of walking,church and museum visiting. The breakfast was sub par.

Quaint, family owned hotel with staff so excited to see you it is genuine on their faces. Everyone that worked there are is very nice and probably the only hotel in Florence that does not charge for parking. The hotel is beautiful, right off the river and next to the U.S. embassy so safety is not even an issue. My wife and I went on a midnight walk […] along the river and felt very safe. The rooms are VERY clean, VERY quiet and the beds are of a dream. There is only a shower instead of a tub, which I wish they had because the hotel is a very romantic hotel. Nevertheless, the water pressure was so good it made up for the lack of a tub. I don't know what else to say except that I will definitely be staying there again and would recommend it highly to anyone who finds themselves in Florence looking for a comfortable stay and good company. The hotel is walking distance from the train station and the rest of Florence. It is clean, quiet and a comfortable stay. The staff is also very nice. We definitely enjoyed our time at the hotel and would stay there again the next time we go to Florence.

Hotellet ligger nær sentrum av Firenze og i et stille område med like biltrafikk. Greie rom og grei frokost. Hyggelig betjening som er veldig serviceinnstilt. Et veldig bra overnattingssted!

La pulizia lascia a desiderare, le stanze sono piccole e poco illuminate. Faceva freddo e la temperatura non si poteva regolare. La colazione...meglio non parlarne, sia per quantità che per qualità...Tre tavolini messi vicino la reception...
