Embassy Suites Dallas - Near the Galleria - Dallas

The front desk staff was less than helpful upon my checkin. I came in carrying 4 bags and a toddler and requested a cart to be told they didn't know where there were any and they didn't offer to find one. Our hotel room had multiple paint patches and they were totally different paint colors so it was like a polka dot room. Carpet was dirty, not sure […] if it had been vacuumed or not. I usually like Embassy Suites. I haven't stayed in one in years though. This one I would not recommend due to the state of condition that the hotel is in. No vents of other in the bath rooms. My kids and I all got scrapes and cuts from the hot tub. Not a place you want to take the kids to go swimming. Other than that, everything else was fine. We loved our stay at this hotel. There was a fabulous breakfast and really cute live swans to watch while you eat. It was really close to the mall and other shopping. It was also close to highways which gave us quick access to the entire city. I will try to stay here every time I visit Dallas.

We stayed at Embassy Suites for a girls weekend and a visit to the American Girl store. It was perfect! The girls swam in the indoor pool while moms enjoyed a complimentary cocktail and munchies. In the morning, we had cooked to order omelets, pancakes, bacon, cereal, etc. The girls loved feeding the swans in the morning. It was a definite highlight. I usually go to the Dallas Central location but choose this one for a change. I was disappointed because the spa tub was out of order and the reception did not seem to want to accomodate me for this. The room was beautiful as all embassy suites rooms are and I love the scenery (love looking at the swans and so did my kids) I also didn't like that the […] computers are out open...need a room for privacy....anybody can look over your shoulder and see what you are doing.....hello!!!! I extremely just hated that housekeeping keep coming in without even knocking....who does that! There buffet was kinda kimpy. The hotel was clean and close to other attractions. The pool and breakfast were a complete ZOO. During breakfast there were no silverware, plates, juice, or a place to sit. This was one of the reasons why I chose this hotel and it was a dissapointment. I don't think I will be coming back to this location again.

Excellent stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and selection was good. Rooms were large and well furnished. Neighborhood has relatively few dining choices.

The hotel decor and amenities are nice, typical of all Embassy Suites hotels in which I've stayed. On the plus side, all hotel areas and rooms are clean and well maintained. All rooms are suites. This location has two very friendly Royal Swans that live in the indoor pond. Kids (and adults) seem to love feeding them. Also, I had a bit of trouble getting an extra blanket for my son who was using the pull out sofa-bed. I was told they were "all out" until I suggested that they take one from another room. THE ELEVATORS SMELL LIKE SEWAGE AND A LITTLE KID POOED IN THE POOL SO WE DIDN'T GET TO USE IT. IT WAS ONLY A FAIR EXPERIENCE.

The hotel was very nice. We especially loved the breakfast, but the highlight was having live swans floating through the atrium area. Our two little girls just loved that. Would definately stay again.

This Hotel was amazing and clean. so comfortable, TV was great. I'll be back!

We were disappointed in the Breakfast! The buffet didn't exist! Had only selected items and had to stand in line to get that. No fruit! We ended up at Mc Donald's. Yuk!

The service was great. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. They have happy hour every evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It's free. They also have hot breakfast made to order every morning and it's totally free. You can also feed the swans daily at 10:30 a.m. I will definitely be staying there again. This hotel is perfect for thos who want to do shopping and explore other parts of Dallas. The drive to the Cowboys arena/Rangers stadium is a short 25 minute drive. This hotel is comfortable, clean, and the staff is great. This place is a must stay. Kids love the swans. We loved the morning breakfast.

Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed the Manager's Reception and hotel. There was a fire alarm one early morning (4 a.m.) as an A/C compressor or something blew. The general manager came into the hotel and explained what had happened and I think he handled the situation very nicely. The front desk and food staff personnel were all great. […] The only small complaint we had was our room was not cleaned until late afternoon one day and my sister had to call to have her room cleaned and was not given extra soap or shampoo until she asked. We stayed here over the Christmas holidays. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is well maintained, and the breakfast and happy hour are great. The rooms are spacious with full separate living areas so it is perfect for those needing a space to visit with family, friends, or clients. Close to a lot of things to do (Galleria Mall, other restaurants, shops): they will drive you up to three miles. Room was very clean and neat. Staff are pleasant. Hot tub was not working when we arrived, but repaired soon after. NOTE: too much chlorine - take an old suit! The hotel is well located very near to the Galleria, and having stayed at the Embassy Suites in Plano, this hotel was only average. Breakfast : the one server was surley every morning, and although the manager was great, the yogurts were slow to be replenished, and the high chairs were always dirty and 2 of the 3 chairs had brocken clasps.....even though […] they did work as the manager pointed out, they were brocken. Our bedroom was not cleaned at all the one day and when we went to complain at 10 at night, instead of sending someone immediately, they apologized and said it would be cleaned the next day !!!!!!!!! We were too tired to argue. The following day when we returned at 4pm the room had still not been cleaned. We did see the cleaning lady in the hallway, but imagine that !! My daughter had a room that was next to some rooms that they were remodeling and she had knocking till 5 pm so that she could not take an afternoon nap. We loved staying her. It is so close to everything and yet not in the hustle and bustle of holiday traffic.

Hotel needs more staff - my room was not cleaned after the first night and when it was reported the next day the room was only cleaned at 4:00 pm!!! Not enough staff during breakfast.

I've stayed at this location for three years every time I'm in town. Prior to this stay, the only problem I had was the housekeeping staff taking the spare change that I'd left on the desk. I reported that to the front desk and they offered to credit my account with the value, but it wasn't really worth it. On this trip, the computer/program that keys […] your room entry keycard was down when I checked in and pretty much remained down throughout my stay so I had to be escorted up every time I left/returned to my room. Just a pain especially if the front desk was short-staffed and you had to wait. My first night I was given a handicapped room (I'm not handicapped) but the problem was finding a dirty Q-tip on the bathroom floor and previous occupant's garbage, included facial tissue, in the rubbish bin! I didn't discover this until late the first night of my stay so I packed up the next morning and requested a new room. Overall, the fixtures and cabinets in the suites are getting old and dated. The mini-fridge in my first room ran so loudly that I couldn't sleep. I finally just unplugged it to get some peace/quiet. The digital clock had the incorrect time displayed and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to set it! No one at the front desk could tell me either. Finally, I don't know why this is the case, but there is no lightswitch in the bedroom so if you come in late, you have to fumble around in your dark room to find the lamp to turn it on so that you can see. Shouldn't there be at least one lamp in the room that turns on by a switch on the wall? Oh, and the door to the bedroom wouldn't close in the handicapped room which is why I had to unplug the mini-fridge. The complimentary breakfast is great. The fitness centre is adequate/clean. Haven't been in the pool so I can't speak to that area. The owners/managers just need to address some of the aging issues now so that in a few years the entire place looks and feels like a 15 year old property. I'll stil Devamı

In comparison to other Embassy Suites their breakfast buffet was in need of some improvement.

Beautiful hotel, exceptionally friendly and helpful front desk staff. My only complaint, and it's not really a big deal at all, was that housekeeping didn't refill coffee or shampoo containers each day. What we had on day one was all we ever received. However, the hotel was beautiful, and the staff were wonderful! Would recommend to anyone.

Great Hotel. The complimentary cooked to order breakfast was amazing. Our kids are 4, 3, and 1 and we all enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool and spa was nice. The staff were professionals. Had a very rich quality from the parking lot to the restrooms in the rooms.

My stay was the best! The room was clean and I loved the 2 room suite with the sofa bed. The complimentary breakfast was good and we loved the swans. The service was wonderful. I will definitely stay again!

Absolutely will stay at the Embassy Suites again! The best bang for your buck so to speak and very family friendly. This is my idea of "camping" :)

This hotel was very nice, I really enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour. Employees were very nice and attentive. The only problem with this hotel was that the pool and hottub were so nasty I would not let my children swim in them, and they were very disappointed

I loved my experience at the hotel. The service, location, and complimentary breakfast made my families vacation even better. The rooms had plenty of space, and we were located down the street from the mall and stores. And because we were located near the highway we were able to get from place to place fast and easy. My family stayed here for the Juy 4th weekend. The hotel was very nice and the employees were very nice. The room was very nice. The breakfast was excellent. Had a great stay.

The inside of the hotel is always hot! Thee toilet ran all night, every night, for three days straight. The front desk is not very helpful with directions or information. The phone in the bedroom did not work, the iron did not work, and the microwave did not work. This hotel need some serious renovations. I was excited about staying here because of […] all the positive reviews but the last three days at this hotel were a nightmare. The maid left me ONE hand towel when she cleaned the room. The surrounding area was great and easy to move around. The food from the resturaunt was HORRIBLE! I do not advise anyone to eat there. Needless to say I do not recomend this hotel at all! Devamı

The Embassy Suites is our new favorite place to stay - especially for family get togethers. The suites were wonderful, the indoor pool excellent and the complete cook to order breakfast, the best. We really enjoyed the full bar happy hour and the whole family loved the swans, Barron and Queen. The hotel staff was friendly and accomodating and some even […] had personality ;). I had booked a smoke free room, but when I arrived, the clerk informed me that none were available, but that I could have a smoke free with two twin beds (not the king that I originally booked), I tried the smoking room to see if I could tolerate it, but the stench was too strong! First assigned room had a shower curtain with a hole in it. The bathroom phone also did not work, and the TV volume control within the bathroom was not functioning. The staff quickly responded to assigning us another room. Restaurant staff was friendly and attentive and the food was fresh and cooked to order.

I have always been satisfied with my stay at Embassy Suites. The only hitch in this particular stay was the grill was not working one morning, but that stuff happens.

The only issued we had were the pillows were way to soft and they did not have any firm ones. Also the hotel charges for local phone calls. Other than that the hotel and staff were fantastic. Went on a weekend vacation with the family. Room fit all five of us. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean, is a little over clorinated. Kids were happy so my wife and I were happy also.

I stayed an entire week. Staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Room was very nice! Only issue was having to ask to have my room cleaned a couple of times, but the staff was on it right away. INCREDIBLE N. Dallas location, easy to get anywhere in the DFW area.
