I reserved this "hotel" a week before my actual trip. I had actually tried to get a room somewhere else but the other places were booked. The good - it was close to where I had to be during my stay and I was able to get a room on short notice. The bad - the bad was super uncomfortable and the bathroom was set up really wierd...no tub just an open shower. […] When we took a shower water was everywhere. Was scared by last year's reviews, but encouraged by recent ones. Place was clean and carpeting in our unit, 207 looked new. Plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and cooking utensils. Need to bring your own dishwashing soap. Quiet room A/C. Because all units have outside entrance, some noies in morning from other guests dragging their luggage to […] stairs. The accomodations were basic, and set up like a small studio apartment. The neighborhood is quiet, I slept well. They do not offer a wake up call, I found this disconcerting, as I do not find alarm clocks reliable. Walking distance to eating establishments is a bit limited.

Room was dirty, found a wallet in a drawer, shower didn't drain and it took a day and a half and three reports to the front desk to get it repaired, beds were old and swaybacked, TV was a tiny tube with a bad picture, the staff had blocked off about 10 of the best parking spots for a guy in a truck and a trailer. For a hotel in Scottsdale, this place was a bit substandard. Room was musty and not very clean, motel style doors open to outside.

Toilet used and plugged, no blow dryer, no coffee cups. Only 1 spoon..

The Extended Stay America-Scottsdale is nestled away behind a few buildings on a quiet road. There are kitchenettes and a convenience store nearby. I read the reviews before going so I was a bit aprehensive, I brought my feather mattress cover and pillow, had to unplug the fridge it was super loud- and then the heater was reeeally loud, taking a nap was out of the ? cause there was a spordic pounding off in the distance- had to put my hand in the toilet tank to attatch the chain in order to flush […] it- map quest gave the wrong directions.... It IS Located just Behind the shell station on Scottsdale road... y' gotta turn off of scottsdale road on a street ( I think its "tera bella') .. Morning was ok no body woke me up after I got in pretty late- and they gave me a noon check out with only a bit of begging- I'd stay here again, had to put the lamp in the bathroom cause the fan was too loud- way better than a hotel 8 or days inn, 'specially cause theres a lil' kitchen & it's a safe area- Devamı

Beds were uncomfortable but it was fine for a no frills place. Kitchenette is great

No frills but clean. Michael at the front desk is very helpful. Great location in high rent area of Scottsdale. Walking distance to restaurants & shopping at the new Scottsdale Quarter.

I was pleased wtih the hotel and will probably stay there again next year. I would recommend this to someone else.

I'm working with a Solar company down in Tucson , and we've got a lot of work in the Phoenix area right now . So we've been staying here at the Extended Stay Hotel in North Scottsdale . The close proximity to our projects has been a plus , cutting down on our drive time . The kitchenettes are great because it allows me to whip up breakfast burrittos […] for the crew saving us money , instead of eating out . The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff has been extremely helpful . Devamı

Safe area located in North Scottsdale area. Very inexpensive. No frills service. Bed was very uncomfortable but clean. Would stay here again

It was fine, given the price; I didn't expect it to be other than it was. The HVAC was noisy and blew directly on the bed and it was occasionally noisy outside the room. Had I paid more, I would have expected better. The desk service was prompt and courteous and the hotel was convenient to the dinner meeting that was the reason for the overnight stay. […] I would stay here again, given the same circumstances. Chipped paint, dog hair in the bathroom, weird smell in the office, would not stay there again ever!

VERY CLOSE TO MAYO CLINIC WHICH WAS GREAT AS SON WAS HAVING ALOT OF TESTING DONE REGARDING HEART PROBLEMS.

No shampoo or lotion in the hotel. I have never stayed in a hotel where they haven't provided these items. Didn't pack just assumed the hotel would provide. Bed was very hard. No shuttle to the event we were attending.

Price was good; room up to expectations; not sure if I was bitten by something in my bed during my second night. Woke up with a bleeding finger. They told me there is no daily cleanup service for room; might have dealt with that???

I requested extra pillows and there were none. They desk person had to take them out of an unoccupied room for me. The bed was harder than the floor and creaked every time I turned over. The air conditioning failed to maintain a constant temperature in the room. It kept getting hot and cold all night long. I asked for a late checkout because I was attending […] a conference nearby and couldn't get one. I had to wait until the morning of checkout to even ask. The people at the desk were very nice and did the best job they could with the resources they had so I think the fault is with the management. Devamı

Got the handicapped room and was told that was all that was left. No bathtub. -Dirty -Smelly -2 cockroaches -low bar for hanging clothes (not able to hang dresses) -the most uncomfortable bed made of crunchy material -ugliest room decor -no soap or shampoo

The only negative I would have about my room was that the bed could have been a little bit better. At this price, I was not expecting upgraded linens but I felt the bed could have been firmer. Also, the walls are very thin so while the people around me seemed to come in late and take showers late, I paid them back because I am an early riser and therefore […] take a shower at 6:30 A.M.!! The hotel is a little difficult to find because you cannot see it from the main road. It is behind a strip mall. The rooms were clean, but could use some updating. It is walking distance to a large mall, shopping area, and restaurants. It's in a great area and much less than other hotels within walking distance.

Pretty good..a microwave for meals...does the trick for the price. Close to nice restaurants and establishments...Only knock would be the Spa was not working and there was no intention of fixing it soon.

We have been using this hotel over the past year many times. It has the very basics, no shampoo etc. It does have a little kitchen with a two burner stove and a microwave and medium size refrigerator. The rooms are clean. We have been going to the Mayo Clinic and it has really helped with the expense. It only offers cleaning services once a week, it […] is not for a vacation. The room was clean and had necessities regarding sleep/rest. Great for staying one night before taking on the next leg of our trip. It was nice to have a cup of coffee freshly brewed in the room after waking. The kitchenette had dishes & utensils for two, a microwave, a refrigerator and coffee maker. In addition, kitchen towels were also present for […] cleaning after yourself. Don't forget to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste as our room was not stocked (hotel possibly doesn't provide this?) Glad we had our own. Location would have been difficult to find had it not been for previous reviews outlining where the hotel is. We used a GPS and despite it all had to rely on "landmarks" from previous posts. Felt outdated, but not relevant when staying for the night and arrivng at 2:30 in the morning. The office closed at 11:00 p.m. and there wasn't a posting of whom to call if arriving after hours so we had to dial the emergency maintenance number to get help for checking in. Not bad for the six hours that we spent in this hotel and we'd definitely stay there again if needed...the price was right! Devamı

The hotel was great. I don't care for everyday maid service so it was perfect. Also the kitchen had a nice big frig not the little hotel ones that you can never put anything in. I personally am a fan of this chain in general. The room was very nice but I especially like the little compact fridge,sink and microwave.
