The Morgan - Dublin

Boutique hotel that does not fail to deliver. Staff were excellent. Rooms not large but clean and comfortable. Best location in Dublin for night time fun in clubs and pubs and very close to all forms of transport for sight seeing. A must stay place in Dublin.

The hotel looks new and clean, the rooms are comfortable. Most importantly, it is located in the Temple Bar area and within walking distance to most places of interests.

Great location. Love that there is a club in the lobby, although I' m glad my room was above floor 2 - very loud. Comfortable beds. Staff a bit slow in their service.

The staff could not do enough to help. Bar was lovely but very loud at night. I was very disappointed in the shabbiness of the room but it was very clean. Great location, near to all shopping,restaurants & bars. Would stay again & it would not take much to spruce up the rooms.

It was fine but you would want to be very wary of gurriers there all over temple bar...not even is the morgan bar was free from them......watch your belongings.

The Morgan Hotel was very nice. It was close to all the attractions and was very convienent for everything.

Cannot wait to go back next year! I was staying with friends for a party weekend and this hotel is perfectly situated to some great pubs/bars. So we could nip back whithout having to trek. This was a great hotel for a night out with a friend. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, hotel decor is fun and funky, cocktail bar is vibrant. Noise from the bar was audible in the room so it wouldn't have been great for an early night (but this didn't effect us). Good size room and friendly staff. Think its a bit ridiculous for a hotel to still be charging for wifi services though.

Comfortable & clean. InnTemple Bar so plenty of nightlife & hotel room was facing street but didn't hear a thing

Hotel itself is very very nice! central location in Temple bar (did get hassle from a couple junkies outside the hotel on arrival), there was a window in my room that was screw shut (wasnt shut correctly) and i could hear street noise and traffic all night, the wall seem also a bit 'thin'between rooms, but the couple next door to me seem to have enjoyed […] their stay! The Morgan was a nice hotel to stay at. The location was perfect since it was close to Temple Bar and other must-see sights. The hotel was really comfy but could use some renovations. It has a very funky decor to it. However, I wish that it was a bit cleaner for a hotel. The bar at the hotel was a plus, however it gets very busy and noisy. The hotel is in the middle of Temple Bar and is close to most of downtown Dublin. Great for Tourist experiences or Bar hopping in the evening. There is a popular nightclub in the hotel with the pounding eurorock preferred by youg adults but most rooms are well protected from that noise. The rooms are clean and roomy for a european hotel. always fantastic....

Very well located in Temple bar. Design in all details. The room all in white. Beds and linen comfortable. Good shower and tub. Clean. Gods value! The bar sticks out from the set of irish pubs in the area. Music (disco) can be quite loud at night, but then again this is not a quiet area. Lots of pubs, restaurants and shops closeby.

The hotel - A really lovely hotel. Great decor, and finished to a high standard. Even better with an on-site Cocktail bar which does very yummy cocktails, albeit a bit pricey, but that's Dublin all over! Service - We arrived earlier on our first day, and although out room wasn't ready at that time, the staff were keen to take our bags, and direct us […] to all the tourist attractions within the Dublin. We returned to the hotel about an hour later, which was still considerably earlier than check-in, and the staff had done their upmost to get our room ready for us, and had taken our bags up to our room, which was a nice little touch. The room - Lovely big, airy, clean room. The design of the room was great, and the added touches, like The White Company complimentary toiletries, were even better. The only problem, was the room was at the front of the hotel, which was very noisy due to the hotel being on Temple Bar. If you get the opportunity, ask for a room at the back! Location - Great Location, right in the centre of everything. Directly on Temple Bar, 10 minute walk to the Guinness Storehouse which will walk you past Dublin Castle and Christchurch, a 2 minute walk to Trinity College, and the great shopping all around. The hotel is nice in a good location but last time I had a room to the back of the hotel and it was very much noises from outside until 04am. Could not sleep. One of the windows could not close 100% which made the noises even worse. Complained first morning but it was not fix for two days!

We stayed at this hotel during the St. Patrick's festivities. We expected to hear noise well past midnight, and we did. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced. We had drinks in the bar twice, and the bartenders were efficient and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a comfortable bed. The hotel was located in a great place. The room was cute but tiny, which we expected for a hotel in Europe. What we didn't expect was that they nickel and dime you for everything. There are no free amenities available at all even though we paid a high price to stay there. The breakfast was poor! It was a buffet full Irish breakfast. All trays of food […] were empty or the food available was old. Needless to say we ate somewhere else. We are very easy to please but this hotel left us wishing we booked our stay elsewhere. If you stay here expect only the use of the bed and that's it. They will charge you for everything else. Devamı

Fab hotel& great location!

We enjoyed our stay, the people on reception were very helpful. The only negative was that the hotel needs some TLC, the decoration was in need of a refresh. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Clean/comfortable and staff on arrival were friendly. Can't get more central and room was fairly priced. The lobby is however unimpressive though in fairness they're tight for space to do anythng tangible. The double bed had a divide down the middle which is something I do not expect in a 3/4star hotel city centre hotel. The upholstery on the chairs […] in the room were also in need of once over Nowadays all guest should be provided with free wi-fi The bar is decent though the prices charges cfor cocktails are far in excess of what you will pay elsewhere in Dublin nor are they anything special. The hotel has a great location, no doubt about it. The rooms were clean, but definitely not luxurious, they had basically futons for beds. The bathroom was clean. If you are a young, 21-24 year old looking for a great place to party - book here. But, if you are traveling with a family, adults on a weekend getaway, or traveling for any other reason than […] to have a hotel frat party, do not stay at this hotel. The music from the lobby bar permeated the entire hotel until 2:30 am, proceeded by loud young adults fumbling back to their rooms. Perhaps this only happens on the weekends - I wouldnt know. The couple we traveled with had to change their room twice because of the noise - but the staff was good about doing their best to try to accommodate them - kudos to the staff for that. We were told that parking could be validated if we paid at the hotel. But, we paid at the hotel and STILL had to pay at the parking garage. It was all wrong - but we didnt bother to go back. The frustration was too high and we were just happy to leave the Morgan behind and move on with our trip. I do not know how it got a 4 star review. Devamı

This is a very nice hotel right in the middle of dublins nightlife. Not really suitable for family's as it's pretty noisy until late but perfect for anyone who's looking for a night out.

Visited the hotel with a friend - we loved the cocktail bar. Location, rooms and staff were all great!

Nice clean rooms, fresh and modern. Simple things done well, I needed non-feather pillows and the night staff did it while i was out. No drama, no hassel. Made the stay more enjoyable. Alan and Karoline were excellent at reception. warm, friendly and professional.

Fantasic hotel as far as staff, location, room and I can honestly one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in the world over! The reception staff were incredibly helpful especially on arrival when we were quite early. Always polite and nice and chatty. My only gripe, which wasn't off huge concern for us as we were away for an upbeat holiday was […] that there was no warning at all about the hotel bar turning into what is more like a club on a Friday and Saturday night. We were on the first floor just above the bar courtyard and the music, noise etc was incredibly loud. We happily decided if we can't sleep through the noise lets go down and dance the night away but for many this would be a sticking point and for us we would have preferred the choice. I would definitely stay here again even with the above comments I would just request a quieter room if I was staying over a weekend in case I wanted to sleep before 3am. Devamı

We were there for two nights at New Years eve and we found the hotel to be great for us. Nice big room and comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Located about 50 steps from all the life in Temple Bar. The nightclub in hotel is quite trendy and seems to attract a lot of young and posh acting people:-) If I need to point my finger on anything it would […] have to be that there should be free Wifi. Sweet hotel with a fantastic location. Really nice staff and good facility. Would highly recommend. Only complaint, bar drinks expensive, but otherwise top notch.

We were late to arrive on a Friday evening, but received a warm welcome and quiet room at the back of the hotel, though the club was closing by the time we got back from live music on the square. Anyway, a great hotel, with a superb location for living it up in Templebar. My wife slipped off a kerb and tore a ligament in her ankle. Dave on reception […] was brilliant, rushing us a bag of ice and even digging us a crutch out from lost & found! Thank you! As a result of her injury, I'm also able to say that the room service was superb, though I can't see many people going to Templebar and staying in for room service. Drinks are expensive in the hotel club, but only as much as everywhere else in the city centre. Can't wait to go back for more Guinness & more craic! Jon & Zoe M. Devamı

Cool design. Comfortable bed, small room. Really nothing remarkable either positive or negative - only note that you need to self park across the street if you bring a car.

The hotel bar turns into a nightclub at night. In addition to loud music, there were drunk loud people roaming the halls early in the morning. While the rooms weren't bad and the staff was very friendly, the loud noise made it very difficult to sleep and be comfortable.

My husband and I are travelling on our honeymoon and found the Morgan spectacular for our expectations. It was very reasonably priced for the position and quality of service. The staff were the highlight of the stay, both Karolina at check-in and Marie on the evening with information on food & beverage of the area. The location is one of the reasons that I chose this hotel but when we saw the room we were thrilled! The price was great for such a nice place and I will definetely visit the hotel's restaurant on our next visit!

The Morgan is right in the middle of Temple Bar and a short walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street, the O'Connell Street Bridge, and tons of other sites in the middle of the city. Just be warned that the Morgan is also home to one of the only real nightclubs in Dublin. When the traditional Irish pubs are closing down, the Morgan is still going. The […] Morgan Bar takes over the lobby as well and the sound will travel up to your third floor room. Plan on hanging out at the Morgan Bar until it closes down at 2:30am or make sure you bring some earplugs. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. In the early morning hours when not a single cafe was open, someone at the Morgan would appear with much needed coffee. I didn't like my room - the too small bathroom was constantly flooded from the shower. The staff moved me to a different room for the rest of my stay and everything in the new room was just great.
