I first come to this hotel in 2004, I had a nice memory of my stay there. 8 years later I have come back and I feel a bit disappointed because I feel it older than my memories, probably it is difficult to catch up with 8 years of wearing out. now Greece is experimenting a very difficult time and probably that was the reason that the hotel had lower […] in its quality. Nice hotel. Been staying there for many years. Only complaint is the lingering smell of smoke. Must be the ventilation system. Also be sure to ask if pool is working. Our stay was the last week in September (unusually hot) they unfortunately closed it for maintenance.

I stayed at the Zafolia in July 2012 and enjoyed it. Room service, roof-top swimming pool etc., all good. The only real negative is the overpriced food and drinks bar but go eat and drink elsewhere as I did.

The stay at the hotel was great! We had a metro stop within walking distance and we were able to get to all the major stops and sight seeing we wanted to. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to all of needs. Every morning, the breakfast staff brought all the condiments I wanted from the first morning...didn't even have to ask after […] the first day. It's little things like that that show how attentive the staff is. The concierge was always helpful anytime we had any questions on how to get to different places like the port to catch a ferry...the major bus stations so we can take different day trips....the airport, etc. ifnyou are in Athens...stay at this hotel. Hotel was great. Very clean and well kept. Food was good at breakfast and dinner. Staff was helpful. Rooftop pool was very nice. To get to the metro, we took a bus to the bottom of the street because the walk was long. Family used gym and pool almost every night and enjoyed it.

Average business hotel in a rough area. Miles from the sights. Pool pleasant but bar incredibly expensive. Room didn't have balcony. No free wifi. Probably a good hotel for Athens but not compared to other cities!

Very comfy, quiet, large, and well appointed room. Staff were super accomodating and friendly. We arrived with our reservation date wrong, but they figured it was an honest mistake and treated us very kindly, immediately getting us into our room. Next time we're in Athens, we will definately stay at this hotel!

The hotel is not cheap but excellent value for money. It boasts a swimming pool - perfect after a trek around sights in Athens. It is also near the Metro where you can get into centre very quickly and out to the airport without much fuss. Would go back! We stayed with this hotel as part of our globus tour. The good: It was a nice hotel with a lot beautiful marble and the like. The rooms were spacious compared to other European rooms. The breakfast buffet is really good as well. If staying there I would defintely recommend the restaurant alexander's. It's a ten minute walk (if that) had excellent food!! […] (my dinner was 9 euro). Also, there is an amazing bakery right behind the hotel! Excellent. The bad: The hotel is not really close to a metro, or a bus station, or the center of the city. I am young and good health so we actually walked to to the center (45 min). The metro was closed anyway due to a strike or something, from which I gather is pretty common. We just got back from our stay at the Hotel Zafolia and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is in a quieter neighborhood, but access to the tourist sites was easy. The metro is a good 10+ minute walk away but then is only 3-4 stops from all the main attractions and is a direct line to the airport. They upgraded us on arrival! We were there with […] our 4 year old son so the roof top pool (not heated so a little chilly when the sun was not out) was a big hit. Breakfasts were solid, nothing fancy, but definitely good. The gym is not as good as it looks in the photos. The treadmill is very old and gives little shocks as you increase the speed . The machine should be replaced and some of the weight machines need fixing. Best part of staying at this hotel is the excellent little, casual Greek taverna one block away. It is called George in Greek which I think is Yannos. Just ask the hotel, it is out the door to the left up a block and on the left Awesome homemade Greek food, very inexpensive and family friendly. No menu needed you just tell them what you want and they will make it for you. Finally, the beds are a little hard (but no more so then other European hotels) but the staff is so great. Zoi and Micheal were really helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Devamı

Excellent value for money, Very attentive staff who immediately serviced any requests we had. Excellent breakfast buffet was served in a very pleasant dining room. The maitre d' and his staff constantly attended to the presentation and supply of all the dishes served. We would certainly recommend the Zafolia.

Super godt værelse med kæmpe hjørnealtan. Meget støj fra vejen, på trods af placering på 6. sal og lukkede døre. Et minus var at der lå en død fugl i poolen og at poolen ikke var opvarmet. Dyrt trådløst internet og dyr restaurant på hotellet. Fantastisk morgenmad og Lurpak smør :-)

+ Relativ gute Lage, Restaurants in der Nähe. Fahrt vom Flughafen ca. 30 Minuten außerhalb Rush Hour. Freundlicher Service. Vernünftige Preise. - Völlig überteuerte Bar. Sehr harte Betten.

L'albergo non e' male .l'unico cosa negativa la piscina e' piccola ma sopratutto sporca i motori li tengono spenti. la stanza invece era molto pulita. colazione niente di eccezionale .Per arrivare al centro di atene la fermata dell'autobus e ' vicina oppure usate la metro che dista 900 metri un po si fanno sentire .Un consiglio per visitare atene bastano […] tre giorni. κλεινοντας δωματιο για δυο ενηλικες και ενα παιδό 5 χρόνων θεωρησα ότι θά υπήρχε και κρεβάτι για το παιδί! Εξεπλάγηκα όταν διαπίστωσα πως υπήρχε μόνο ένα διπλό κρεβατι. μετά από συνεννόηση με την διέυθυνση μου παραχωρήθηκε τρίκλινο όμως με εξτρα χρέωση!!!!

Tipico albergo business e/o meeting, ambiente formale e poco caratteristico, reso più apprezzabile da personale professionale e molto disponibile. La posizione non è centralissima: il quartiere non possiede attrattive, nè locali o ristoranti. L'hotel è meglio servito dalle linee bus piuttosto che dalla metro.

Upper clas hotel with excellent and serviceminded staff! On the downside traffic noise from main street!

Good buffet breakfast, friendly staff, great roof top pool. Rooms to the street are a little noisy because of traffic, but we are all good sleepers, so it didn't bother us too much. Otherwise ask for a room to the back of the hotel.
