Brandon is a residential suburb that lies east of downtown. Nearby, blue-ribbon agriculture is on display annually at the Florida State Fairgrounds. South of Brandon in Apollo Beach, manatees flock by a waterside power plant when the water temperature cools. The aquatic mammals are best seen at Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center, which is also a haven for butterflies and birds.

This hotel was decent. stayed 3 nights. It's a great location! I was within walking distance of the mall, several eateries, a movie theater, and Target so that was super convenient for me. the one night i didn't want to walk, I took a taxi to the mall for about $6 and went to Outback for dinner (a few miles away) and that was $9. I graded the cleanliness […] down because my room smelled like smoke when i first checked in and throughout my stay, the bathroom doors were broken (i think the hinges needed tightening) and they looked filthy. the actual tub was decent with the exception of staining around the fixtures (i'm assuming from water leakage). other than that, the bed was comfortable and the temp in the room was nice. "Wonderful!"
I was on Spring Break vacation with my two best friends and we got the hotel online with hopes that it was worth the money. We were about thirty minutes away from our desired destination and were tired from traveling from Georgia. However, the remote location was perfect for us! "Fine for one night"
I only needed the hotel for one night, but the location was great. Overall, the hotel seemed well-maintained, even though it was an older facility. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about. It was enough to get me going and out the door. My only real issue was the A/C. The digital thermostat on the wall wasn't hooked up to the window unit, […] so you had to use the controls on the unit itself -- hi fan, low fan, and the little dial for temperature. "LaQuinto in Brandon, FL"
I was very impressed witht he friendlyness of the staff. The breakfast was excellent and the help was very attentive. I spent a day at their pool and that was a pleasant experience. The pool was crystal clear and the surrounding area was kept clean. The surrounding area was close and convenient to everything.

This facility is an older hotel, but still in decent condition in rather nice surroundings. The staff was excellent and very pleasant. The room was spacious, clean, with a nice TV and good climate control. The only issue is that the carpeting could use a thorough cleaning or replacement. "LaQuinta, Brandon, FL in Feb 2012"
This place was beautiful! Beautiful view outside and inside! We felt very safe. The staff were friendly all the time, even the maintenance man who was cleaning up the area. Was perfect location for us and we had a great time. Only recommendations are: refridgerator and microwave in rooms and maybe a little bit more comfortable mattress. BUT LOVED IT!!! Hotel was very clean. Employes very pleasents. Breakfast was very good. It is a continental breakfast but they have boiled eggs, Waffles, and fresh fruits.

"La Quinta 1 night stay"
The room was very neat, clean, and average. But I was not aware that the Hillsborough County jail was 0.5 miles away. I actually picked this hotel because others near my seminar were in a bad neighborhood, this made me nervous as a woman staying the night alone. Complimentary breakfast was nice and tasty, and welcomed after a night of no sleep. The […] A/C in my room did not work. After 3 people came to check it, they finally got it working at 11pm. The room did not cool off until 1am, to a 6 month pregnant woman, this was the worst, and I had to be up at 6am for a 2 hour test at my seminar. But I will say everyone was nice, sympathetic, and tried to be helpful. All in all an average hotel. I'd still stay there again considering the A/C was a fluke. Devamı

Sink leaked and they fixed it immediately. The beds were very comfortable but would have preferred queen size. Staff was great.

"Just OK"
It was OK, not bad and not good. I probably wouldn't stay again but I am particular.
"Poor service"
The hotel was fine but I was upset by the poor service at the front desk. When I arrived there was no one there and no bell to ring for service. I stood there for about 10 minutes occasionally calling out "Hello?" with no success. Eventually I called the front desk and a girl came running out of the small office behind the desk. I explained that I had […] been waiting for 10 minutes and she offered no explanation as to why she wasn't present. She then asked me how I was going to pay for the room and I said I had already paid through hotel.com and her response was "I didn't say you hadn't". Then she said breakfast started at 6 am so we scheduled our day around leaving after breakfast and we arrived to find breakfast didn't start until 7 on weekends. The server in the breakfast room was unhelpful,and rude. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day ,but another guest said she acted like that a couple of weeks earlier when they were there. Ps She also started to clean our table while we were still eating!!!!!

The plumbing is loud but the room and the common areas were very clean!! my daughter loved the waffle maker...guess i gotta buy one. thanks again for a great girls day out!!!

hotel was very nice with lots of room. the only thing missing was a microwave and mini fridge. that would have made it a 5.

I dont usually breakfast at the hotels i stay in, the food that usually is served is "no bueno" but at this hotel...me and friends we loved it!! they have this waffle machine...it was amazing!! Everything was fresh and clean!! The only thing i didn't like was the plumbing system...when someone flushed their toilet the noise was ridiculously LOUD!!! The hotel was nice and in a very nice area. It is right across the street from Brandon Mall which was a plus. The elevator was VERY slow. The staff was really nice. The room did not stay cool even though we kept it on 68. We had to keep turning it down lower and lower for it to get cool in the room.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip to Brandon. It was very convenient, right next to the Interstate highway. The hotel condition is great, the gym, the pool, and the rooms, the breakfast lounge are pretty good. My room needed a little cleaning in the washbasin but other than that, the hotel is pretty good for the price. Recommended.

"La Quinta- grand regency"
Overall, hotel was ok- woke up with a stiff back every morning. LOUD as hell- one day awoke to the sounds of young adults running up and down the hallway yelling profanity. Room next to us have 3 or 4 kids- up early, slamming their door or yelling in the room- needless to say, we never got a chance to sleep in

My husband and I stayed at the Regency Park LaQuinta while in the Tampa area to see a concert at the Florida Fairgrounds. "Good place to stay."
Got into town around midnight (a day earlier than expected) and couldn't get a room at the hotel I had booked for the rest of my stay. Called Hotels.com from the interstate and they got my room booked within 10 minutes. Front desk clerk was very pleasant (especially considering the time). Room was clean and nice enough for the price I paid. Breakfast […] was available the next morning, but I already had other plans, so I didn't see what they had. There were a lot of people eating, though, so it must not have been bad. Overall, very pleased. FYI- There are two LaQuinta's very close to each other in this part of town.
