Very nice hotel. Service was good. Room on the small side and you need to be on the higher floors to avoid the street noise. We were in a room the first nighrt on the 5th floor and had some problems with the bed and street noise. We relocated to the 6th floor the second day and the room was much better. walking distance from Atoche train station and Prado museum, expensive buffet breakfast 17 euros not included. I had to cut my stay short by one day and the hotel would not refund the difference or apply it to any other charges

The hotel is in a great location in town. However, the street noise in the rooms is extremely loud at all hours of the day and night, even with the noise shield down over the windows. Even with earplugs, it was difficult to sleep. So, we ended up switching to an "interior" room (eg, no windows) even though we paid for the city view room. This hotel was in an ideal location. It is was very close to the train station and two of the biggest museums in Madrid. Ideal for catching an early plane. The only thing that I did not like is that the room was small.

Initially we were given a room facing inside. But when we requested a room facing the street, the receptionist gave us a nice room with balcony a quiet,pleasant room. For inexpensive breakfast McDonald is just next door, There are quite a few eating places across the road. Great location - close to museums,buses and metro.

Great location to the train station, walking distance with our lugguage. We were only there for one night, but the surrounding neighborhood was great for walking and checking out all the restauraunts.

Be careful because anyone from outside could easily walk around the hotel even in the breakfast hall! you need to watch out for your bags

I have been to Madrid a lot, and I have always got a hotel near Sol. This time I chose Nh Nacional near Atocha. This proved to be a good move. First, location: literally around the corner from the Prado museum, Reina Sofia museum, and the Atocha train/metro stations. The bus stop outside the front door of the hotel is also a bus turistico stop. It […] is a short walk to c/ Huertas (5 min), Thyssen-Bornemisza museum (10 min),pl Santa Ana (15 min), and just a little further to Sol and Plaza Mayor (20 min). I loved the location of this hotel. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that only the lobby had free wifi. If you wanted wifi in your room you had to pay, a lot. We were give then choice of an inside or outside room, and chose inside as Paseo del Prado is a major thoroughfare and there is a lot of traffic. There was no noise from the street or other guests that we could hear in our room. The breakfast was typical of Spanish hotels: cereals, pastries, fresh juices (pear-mango was delicious), meats, cheeses, etc., AND eggs to order. Good quality, great variety. I would definitely stay here again, and I would reccomend it to others without reservation. Devamı

We face the problem of noise from the downstair particularly at night. Apparently the hotel staff told us that hotel aircondition system was not working. It was too hot and stuffy unless the window was opened.

The hotel was very nice and well maintained. Staff was fluent in English.

Satisfied in every way. Hotel was quite comfortable, desayuno was good, location was excellent - near major museums Prodo, etc and Atocha Renfe station. An excellent choice to see Madrid and to see other cities in Spain by rail. Also near nice restaurants in Huertas.

The hotel location is perfect. However, as soon as we saw the room we realized that it wasn't anything close to what is portrayed on the online pictures. We complained and they upgraded our room. The second day, they forgot to change two of the bathroom towels. They left the used towels there. This hotel is close to the Prado and to the Atocha train station--a simple bus ride to/from the airport. What more could one ask for? Hotel is clean and pleasant; staff is helpful and attentive. Many rooms overlook the park. Surrounding area has many restaurants, cafes, bars, small convenience stores. etc.

Great location, helpful staff, exceptional breakfast buffet. A great choice if you are taking the train to or from Atocha Station.

Close enough to most of the things you want to see and to in Madrid, in particular the famous museums.

Excellent location with 3-5 minutes walking to the Metro, train station. Bus stops and Madrid Vision Tourist bus stop is right at the front door of the hotel. Rooms are of Adequate size but some of the furnitures are showing the age (the chair unhosltery and the cushions can certainly get some help !) Room had wooden floor but no area rugs or carpets. Bathroom […] are big and well equiped. No coffe or tea in the room and don't expect the iron/ironing board ! The lobby furnitures were really shabby and definitely needs some uplifting. A classic hotel very near the Prado but a pretty good walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace.

Seven fives out of five should say it all. I really liked everything about this hotel. Even down to the room design with its double bathroom arrangement plus double doors to eliminate all corridor noise. Gold for that architect. Falling out of bed into the Prado and the Reina Sofia was okay too.

Bien situado, sobre todo para visitar los museos

Para quem quer conhecer os principais museus de Madrid é o endereço ideal. Fica a menos de 200 metros do Prado, Reina Sofia e Thyssen. Tem também metro na porta e a estação de trens Atocha atravessando a rua. É confortavel, moderno, com boa qualidade de serviço e preço ótimo. Não é de luxo mas é um 4 * muito bom. Pelo preço, vale a pena. Apenas o café […] da manhã pode as vezes ser um pouco confuso, mas nada que comprometa. Devamı

EL HOTEL TIENE UNA PERFECTA UBICACION PARA CONOCER EL CENTRO DE MADRID CAMINANDO. TIENE ACCESO A ESTACION DE METRO Y TRENES EN LA ESQUINA. LOS MUSEOS MAS IMPORTANTES, PARQUES,CALLES, EXPOSICIONES TODO INCREIBLELMENTE ACCESIBLE.

The hotel has a great location, it´s next to the subway, the room is clean but smells bad. Overall it´s an excellent option.

Tæt på Atocha banegården, de tre store kunstmuseer og Retiro-parken. Rigtig gode cafeer i de små gader bag hotellet. Der er P-kælder under hotellet, Værelserne er ikke så store men de er gode selvom de bærer præg af alder - og var vores værelse havde vi udsigt over Retiro-parken.

영어 잘 통하고 깨끗한 호텔입니다. 카운터가 그다지 친절하지는 않습니다만 제 할일은 다 해줍니다. 아침식사는 상당히 괜찮습니다. 음식도 다양한 편이며 양질의 식사와 커피를 즐길 수 있습니다. 기차역에서 매우 가까워 편리하며 프라도미술관도 도보로 5분이내입니다. 전반적으로 만족한 호텔입니다.

well, atocha station is good for tourist. and but i worried about the area. it seems dangerous. But it was not that.. but our hotel is just there and it was good located. perfect. but the price was quite expensive.

Excellent location, near big train station Atocha, many restaurants and beautiful Retiro Parc. Not really great room. Good buffetbreakfast. Recommendable hotel.

El hotel está bien situado, muy cerca de muchas de las atracciones turísticas de la ciudad y del centro de Madrid. Muy accesible y con estaciones de metro y tren a la vuelta de la esquina. Las habitaciones no se corresponden con las de un hotel de cuatro estrellas, pero si es solamente para pasar la noche, son amplias y bastante luminosas.

Es una pena que un hotel de negocios, cobre el acceso Wifi

Très bon hôtel, bien situé à deux pas des trois grands musées de Madrid et à 20mn à pied de la Plaza Mayor. Un peu bruyant cependant la nuit si les chambres donnentsur le Paséo del prado mais c'est lavie d'une grande (et belle) ville du Sud. Très bon accueil, parking (payant mais moins cher que les parcs publics) dans l'hotel. Excellent petit-déjeuner […] buffet. Devamı
