Excellent value, fantastic rooms, great location, great customer service, and unless it was free, it just couldn't get any better.

This old time Portland Hotel has been meticulously refurbished and is just wonderful. The staff/service is excellent, the rooms are spacious, very clean and well appointed, bed perfectly comfortable with "European" syle comforter, etc.. The hotel rooms are very quiet as well. Slept well, no outside or inside noise, and the maid service is excellent, […] too. Parking is directly across the Street and the Valet Service Staff is accommodating, efficient and knows Portland well...giving out directions to guests throughout the day & evening and helping load the suitcases and just being ext\remely helpful. Finally, room service from their in house Restaurant is nice quality as is the hot, cooked to order breastfast offered complimentarily and daily all morning. My husband and I were very satisfied first time visitors and we will be staying here again. Devamı

This was our second stay at the downtown Portland Embassy Suites, and we were very happy with our room and amenities. Since our room was a corner Queen suite, there was plenty of room for the kids to play, and we were less concerned with the noise issue. This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located to everything Downtown Portland has to offer. We were only 2 blocks from the Saturday Market and within 3 blocks of Pioneer Plaza. The service was excellent. The Breakfast Buffet was good as far as hotel food but I've had better. We were in a non-smoking room but our room smelled like stale cigarettes. […] They brought an air purifier to our room immediately but we had to leave it on the whole duration of the stay. The hotel has a nice, central portland location. The rooms are nice and they offer a fantastic breakfast, complete with custom omelettes. The one flaw of this hotel is internet connectivity and internet billing. You are billed for each device connected and the bill is resolved when you leave. The customer services and the maintenance of the hotel was excellent. Of course with the free breakfast and the reception hours at night made this stat even better. We took the train to Portland and we were able to either walk or take the MAX to pretty much all the major attractions that we wanted to go from the hotel. If you are a foodie then you will […] love the location of the hotel, literally a couple of minutes walking and you are within at least three major food stands pods. Voodoo Donut was of course around the corner from the hotel and we were able to avoid the wait at Voodoo by going when there werent a line. Devamı

We really liked the included happy hour for two hours each evening as well as the breakfast each morning. The hotel building was really cool, located near downtown shopping and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and included coffee and a mini-fridge.

I have stayed at this Embassy Suites before but I was in a different part of the hotel. This past visit was one of the worst nights of sleep I've ever had and it was due to things that are out of the hotel's control. Bar noise, loud discourteous drunken revelers and traffic kept me up all night. By the time they tired themselves out, it was nearly time […] for me to wake up and leave. Had a fabulous time staying here for a night with the whole family. We only live 10 miles away, but wanted to have a mini getaway. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Rooms were fantastic for all of us. And the brunch in the morning was so convenient. Will definitely be back!

It was my third time staying at this hotel location, and again I was impressed. Wonderful and helpful staff, beautiful room and delicious breakfast.

This is a fixed up old hotel with a spectacular lobby, great amenities,and the usual Embassy Suites large room and great happy hour and breakfasts. Many of the old grand Multnomah Hotel are maintained. Valet parking is $30/day for in and out privileges or $18 overnight at a lot across the street.

This is a beautiful hotel with one of the most amazing free breakfasts we have ever had. The only inconvenience we had was that when we arrived at 5:00 p.m. our room was not ready. We were able to leave our bags and they called when the room was ready, but it was a little disappointing. The pool is also great, and our room was quite large.

Awesome manager's free drink special during happy hour. Great selection of wine. Great Breakfast. Nice room, comfy and roomy. Employees at the hotel were nice and accommodating. Location of hotel is great. Near Powell's bookstores, voodoo donuts, and micro-breweries and very close to light rail that goes directly to airport. Still undergoing some rennovations--but quiet and pleasant. Great workout room, manager's reception and breakfast options. Room was comfortable and made working easy. Would stay again.

The Executive Suite was exceptionally nice. There were all the comforts we needed, plus a microwave. The staff was friendly, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet; It was delicious! Every area of the hotel was clean and friendly. We've stayed in one outside of Milwaukee, Wi. and enjoyed it for the same reasons, Thank you

Great stay! I stayed here because my daughter's whole cheer company stayed here. They have plenty of space to accomodate all 100 cheerleaders, the breakfast was great.

This is located walking distance from most attractions such as VooDoo doughnuts, Downtown shopping stores such as Macy's, Nordstrom and Ross. More importantly, there are many amazing restaurants such as the Blueplate, Morning Star Cafe and more that are a few blocks away. We stayed here while in town for a concert. The hotel room was really big, a one bedroom suite really. The bedroom was gorgeous, although the living room could have used some character, maybe a picture on the wall. The bedroom was set away from the hallway, so it was really quiet, with great blackout blinds. We had to watch the water in the sink, because […] it would have things floating in it, or some sort of thick residue. After letting it run it would clear up, but it was pretty gross. There was also no hot water for showers in the morning. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk all over downtown Portland, and it was right near the free tram line, so we could get over to Rose Quarter in 15 minutes. Right around the corner from VooDoo donuts too! We'd stay here again, although I can't say that we wouldn't try somewhere else first. The lack of character was it's biggest drawback. We didn't try the managers reception or breakfast, so I'm not sure how those were. Devamı

Love the free evening drinks and breakfast.

The hotel was very comfortable and staff courteious. The breafast was hot and good - great omelettes! The manager's reception was a good place to meet - plenty of sitting place and good choice of beers and wine. If you are in Portland specifcally for craft beers then you have to go to other watering holes ofcourse! The room was not cleaned the day before […] we left, though it was promptly cleaned when we requested it. The restaurant downstairs (some steak food place) was not at all courteious or welcoming. The musician did not turn up, room service from this restaurant was all but refused. Totally avoidable!! best bet is to walk down to the excellent restaurants around the town where the food, ambience and beer is great! We forgot some goods in the room and they were promptly mailed to us! Great in that respect. Would love to use them again. Devamı

We caught the train with our 3 young sons to stay overnight in Portland. Embassy Suites was not only luxurious, but family friendly as well. Our room was beautiful and our boys loved the heated pool. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely stay at Embassy Suites in Portland again.

We usually stay in Tigard and enjoy it more. The service was good. The hotel was really loud! I would go back just wasn't overally impressed. : (

It begins with the pleasant and helpful bellhops, continues with your walk through the main doors as the elegance of this old school hotel comes into view. It's gorgeous. The staff at the desk were helpful. I was able to check in early, they made change for me and a dinner reservation (after suggesting multiple options)..The room was spotless, bigger […] than I'd expected. Housekeeping was spot on with extra towels and the rollaway bed I decided we needed at the last minute. The pool is spectacular...best indoor pool at a hotel. ever. The game room provided entertainment for the under 18 crowd. I left the under 18 crowd at the hotel, their choice being room service and a movie...I felt safe leaving them. My only complaint was not enough PG 13 movie options but they muddled through... The breakfast was perfect...warm, lots of variety, and the coffee was great. Who'd've thought? I've stayed at several Embassy suites because of their room options and this one tops the list. I have to make up another reason to stay there...so pleased with it! Devamı

The location of Emabassy Suites is perfect because it's very close to a bunch great Restaurants, bars, nightlife and shopping. The Nightly managers reception held downstairs is an added bonus with free cocktails and beer from 5:30-7:30!

I thought this hotel was great. I booked a room in this hotel not being at all familiar with downtown Portland. It was very close to Chinatown and a great bar partyzone area with a ton of food trailers. When I walked into the lobby, it was as though I'd been taken back 60-70 years.....classical old time appeal. The building was older, the shape of the […] building was awkward, so I didn't really have a view of anything specific, though I didn't go to Portland to look out my hotel window. The room was awesome, a King Suite.....2 rooms plus the bathroom. 2 flatscreen TV's. It was awesome, but it was really much much more than I need or expected. There was a breakfast buffet in the basement that many visitors attended. That was also a very nice touch and the food was good! I'd certainly stay in this hotel again. Devamı

first night very cold . second night after figuring out heater roasted. old hotel . found bobby pin and broken glass on floor. they don't vacuum the carpets? restaurant and bar great. location perfect.

Hotel was beautiful. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was amazing.. Staff friendly and helpful. Location also great. Only a couple blocks form the MAX light rails. Easy access to museum, concert hall and convention center via short walks and free rail. Plenty of good eateries and pubs within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

We stay in Portland hotels quite a bit, and this was the first time we stayed here. I was very impressed with the front desk, who seemed quite happy to upgrade our room, which was very smart as it made me quite happy (and a great rate at that). Also, our room was very quiet, very comfortable and even had partial view of the river. We enjoyed some great […] jazz by local Mel Brown in hotel's wonderful restaurant and the next morning enjoyed a terrific breakfast buffet, which was included in the room rate. In a beautiful and historic building built in 1912, this hotel is lovely and my new favorite in Portland. I do not have one negative thing to say and highly recommend Embassy Suites in downtown Portland. Devamı

Check-in was fast and simple. Room clean and comfortable, We had the 2bedroom 2 bath Suite and it was great set up. The managers reception was great. Unlimited drinks, and for a small fee you could upgrade to premium drinks. Light appetizers. The only thing about this stay I can complain about was the jets in the hot tubs did not work, and I think after […] 10:00pm it should be adult only in the pool area. The teenagers running, splashing and screaming ruined the nice swim and soak we had in mind. Other then that we enjoyed our stay and plan to be back in the summer. Devamı

this is probably my 7th time staying here and it always gets better. Free breakfasts and drinks, can't beat that. Staff is always friendly and the bartenders go heavy on the libations. I would gladly recommend anyone to stay here and this is the only place I stay when I come to portland.

Our room and the interior spaces seem to have been lovingly renovated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very gracious.

A couple of my friends and I stayed here for a night just to enjoy a shopping trip to Portland and a night out. The hotel room was bigger than we expected, and very cozy beds. The hotel had complementary cocktails (which was AWESOME) as well as breakfast, which was delicious! Great experience. And it was pretty cheap! Will stay there again.

This our third stay at the Old Multnomah Hotel and we continue to be very satisfied. It is close to the Pearl District, China Town and not too far from shopping. We love the full breakfast that is included in the price of the room. But most of all, the hotel employees are friendly, helpful and courteous. We will definitely stay her again.

Portland is walkable unless one has age / health restrictions, and a couple blocks of walk from this hotel take you to the nice mall, etc. downtown. We almost stayed at the Monaco which is much better located, but i) it was pricier; and ii) we needed a big room (us + 2 kids + mom). We also had a car, so driving to Pearl Dist. or Rose Gardens was easy. […] Sadly, many parts of Portland have homeless people, some druggies, but esp. in this hotel's neighborhood. Parking is across the street -- yes, narrow, but doable. Room itself was comfortable. Sinks and bath are renovated, but can get clogged. The architecture was quaint and nice. The incldued breakfast "got the job done," but I'm sure you'd want to hit the many cafe's instead, incl. Voodoo Donuts which literally across the street. : ) Devamı

Had a Great time at embassy suites portland. Service from the time we walked through the door till we left . From the smiles to front desk help to the handoff of umberrlaa for walking in the rain.

Overall very nice hotel. Used to staying in newer Embassy Suites, so enjoyed the Historiacal charm of this one. Near shopping, Chinatown, & landmark restaraunt Hubers. My only complaint, we pre-paid & had flight delays which landed us in SF, CA for the eve. Hotel would not refund us for not staying the 1st night, so had to pay for 2 hotels. It was over […] busy Christmas holiday & when we got to our room ther was room service tray by door & did not get type of room requested. They did move us, but thought they should have refunded us for night we di not stay. Devamı

We only needed a place for one night but wanted something close to places we like to visit (Voodoo Donuts, Powell's bookstore, Whole Foods...) were all within easy walking distance. Our two teenage kids loved the old architectural features. I thought the master bedroom was QUITE comfortable. Loved the bedding. Also, appreciated the QUIET!! No annoying […] ventilation system sounds.The staff was very accomodating about bringing up a roll a way bed late at night (no extra charge), as well as extra towels. Parking could have been an issue, but the friendly valet service was super helpful. Will DEFINITELY stay here again, but will be sure to stay longer. Devamı

I had not stayed at the hotel in a few years They offered a great price in the Holiday season. I will look them up when I am heading to Portland the next time!
