Excalibur Hotel Casino - Las Vegas

The decoration is extremely cheerless. The room is very old fashion, dirty..Air conditon was out of acuse, was working but blare. Windows can not be openned, room is stuffy and having bad smell. Towels were dirty. It was very bad experience for Las Vegas. I do not even want to remember this hotel unfortunately...

Got a great rate! Can walk to monorail stop. Can take a short cab ride if you don't want to walk to the monorail. We did both. Hotel was in good condition, kept clean even the casino was very clean.(not too much smoke)

Good bang for buck.

This hotel is an older strip resort. Room and hotel smell like decades of cigarette smoke and cheap perfume. Worse is that the hotel will demand $15 per room per night of "resort fees" which are mandatory even though you have already paid for the room. Resort fees get you internet access and 2 beers. They also charge extra tax which I'm not sure why […] it wasnt in the expedia charge. Just irritating. Devamı

I would recomend a stay at the Excalibur, the over all stay was just what you would expect from a hotel and casino, everything went well during my stay.

The people who constantly try to get me to pay down for a year within a room were very annoying.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We were hoodwinked upon arrival and asked to pay a "resort fee". Our reciept from Hotels.com stated"paid in full". After our expressing our dissatisfaction with the Excalibur check-in staff we finally had a manager help us out by upgrading our room. Although that eased the pain of the "resort fee" it did not solve the problem that was caused by hotels.com […] because of their failure to properly notify us about the $45 "resort fee" Devamı

Enjoyable location, easy to walk to Luxor and Mandelay. Tropicana is across Vegas Blvd.

Stayed before a very long time ago but still ok to stay. Don't like that the downstairs area closes early(ice cream - game area). Shower needed to be updated. Bed firm and we were in Tower 2 - floor 25 was quiet at very end. I only stayed here because the price was right. So many newer hotels to check out next time.

I would not recommend the Excaliber as the best place to stay.The rooms are run down. They do not have wireless internet, ether net connection. We had 3 adults in room and they left one shampoo and when we left a note they left 2.one day out of 4.

Excalibur is in a great location. Don't expect high end accommodations but the rooms were nice, clean and well maintained. The bathroom was large with a nice size walkin shower. Plenty if restaurants in house at an array of prices. Parking can be a bit far but if you lucky you can park relatively close. Everyone was very nice, both at check in and in […] the casino. Tv kept having bad reception and my cell phone didn't work in the room and no WiFi available. Even McDonalds has wifi

The reception desk personnel were great, & funny. to boot! The room was nice. The ice maker on our floor wasn't working when o checked in, but it was in order by noon the next day. Overall, I was happy with the value.

Good location -- the price is right. I enjoyed my stay here. There are a lot of activities within the hotel (Thunder From Down Under -- need I say more?) as well as good restaurants and bars. I would stay here again. The biggest downside is the men in suits that are waiting to grab you as soon as you arrive. They hunt you down and say they're going […] to get you free tickets to a show. The con is that you have to make 60k a year (which they will just make you say that you do), you have to go to a 2-3 hour tour to see timeshares and need to put down a cash deposit. Avoid these men by all costs -- They are VERY pushy. But, then again, I guess you could run into this just about anywhere in Vegas. They just seemed more demanding. All in all though -- good stay and I would recommend the hotel to my friends. Devamı

I was pleasantly surprised by how modern the room looked for a reasonable price. I got a wide screen tv. Everything was very clean and quiet. Definitely would stay again but you have to watch out for the 'RESORT FEES'. I head the guy next to me talking about it but wasn't told that I had to pay it by the check-in clerk. Interestingly, I did have to […] pay quite a large resort fee at MGM also booked through Hotels.com and there was almost no mention of this when I signed up. I find it all very deceiving. Devamı

This Hotel is very sub par for a prime Vegas located property. All main areas are smelly, loud and sleezy overall appearance. Hotel guest room hallways remain loud all evening long. Price is not the price. Charges for amenities and services are charge once you arrive. Bathrooms are not even as good as a Holiday Inn Express and amenities in the room […] & bathroom are very cheap. I was presently surprised at the quality of the room for the price I paid. Although I stayed in the room that had not yet been remodeled it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the food in the new restaurant American Burger Works. Had the garden burger, it was delicious.

The stay at Treasure Island Las Vegas... was top notch!!!!!!

Really liked the hotel, but none of the rooms had a coffee maker.

Over-all our stay was good. Our first night stay was unsettling will an alarm going off at 5:30 in the morning. Our room reservation was confirmed by Hotels . com and upon checking in the clerk could care less. We had booked and confirmed a King Smoking room and was told King NONSMOKING was all they had available so had to take a queen room instead. […] Our room was very nice it was suitable for the two-of us except for the bed skirts on both beds were very badly stained and nasty. It was clean and comfortable ... but oh the noise from all the young drinkers. The bars in this casino are geared to those who want to stay sloshed for most of the time. Lots of free drinks and drinking games. Since we are in our 70's; we wern't interested in this. The hotel provided a safe place for the drinkers to have their fun. The only trouble […] with this is that as they came to their rooms at all hours (almost every hour), they were not considerate of those sleeping. We did not get much sleep the entire time we were there. We didn't complain; it seemed not right to spoil the drunks fun, but boy, were they loud. Devamı

ok but the shower was like being in a water drinking outlet , tv was bad. the hotel service fee was to high for what we got in return.

the room needed to have WORKING amenities i.e. iron, ironing board, hair dryer.

Although I usually stay at the Mirage, I thought I'd try something different this birthday. I got a great deal at the Excalibur so I thought Id give it a try. On the positive side, the room was very nice, clean, comfy with the usual amenities ... oh, and best of all I was able to stay on a "smoke free" floor. The Excalibur is conveniently located on […] Las Vegas Blvd S and connected to both the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. On the other side is the New York New York (one of my personal favorites). There is covered parking behind the hotel and of course the overall theme is "medieval". On the negative side, whenever I entered the lobby area I was approached by staff who wanted to know my occupation and income to see if I was eligible for a special offer at a nearby resort. A sales pitch is the last thing I needed after sitting in a car in the hot mojave desert for more than 4 hours. It became much more annoying, however, during the next few days - as I was constantly being approached by hotel staff with the same questions and offers every time I entered into the lobby area. Also, when it was time to "check out" of the hotel there was only 1 person serving a very long line. There should have been two or three people helping with check out. As for overall staff friendliness - aside from the very annoying sales people I already mentioned - some staff were very friendly and some were not so much. We stayed in Tower I. I thought the hotel was out of the way from the mainstay of the strip, the buffett was terrible, the food tasted old and overcooked. the guests on our floor were noisy, we could hear them running in the halls, playing with the our door knobs and our neighbors were arguing, our toilet never stopped running and the curtains were […] getting worn. Compared to the sister hotels, Mandalay Bay and Luxor I thought the Excalibur appeared run down, i don't think the air conditioning was working well as we smelled of cigarette smoke, our hair and clothes, i don't think well stay at the Excalibur at any price Devamı
