Holiday Inn Express Green Valley - Green Valley

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The room was huge, with a lazy boy and a jacuzzi tub that I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel was just around the corner from a fantastic mexican restaurant and very close to the Titan Missile Museum, which was the main reason I was in town.

The hotel was average and clean. The staff over all were friendly. One of the dresser drawers in our room was broken and the lid to the water reservoir on the coffee pot was broken. The breakfast had more than the average continental breakfast however on several days the food had not been warmed thoroughly and was cool in the middle. Sunday morning […] at 7am there wasn't much food available. We spent 6 nights there and the computer in the lobby was out of order the entire time. Bed was comfortable, rooms clean. Free breakfast was pretty good. Overall, if you want some place clean and out of Tucson this is it.

The hotel was a bit out of the way for our visit to Tucson, but it was clean, comfortable and a reasonable price. There are some very good restaurants in the immediate area and an ice cream shop within walking distance :-) It was very nice the rooms each had a little refrigerator and a coffee maker. The hotel and staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had one issue with housekeeping, otherwise they would get full superb ratings. This was resolved by the night staff so it became a non-problem. We were very happy with the resolution. The issue was with having the 'do not disturb' sign out and that we left the hotel later in the morning (9:30 - […] 10:30). This caused the room to not be made up for two days, but as stated, this was resolved by the night staff the 2nd day, which we were very happy with. We used this location to travel each day to Tuscon and the national parks and other area highlights with a short travel time and no traffic issues. Devamı

The staff at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was exactly what we expected. Clean, and comfortable. Our only problem was that while the AC worked fine, when we turned the heat on one day the smoke alarm went off. We were unable to use the heat during the rest of our stay. Very happy with hotel, breakfast and staff. Only suggestion was to the front desk to have the shower head checked in our room. They made a note to have it checked before booking again. Will stay with them again.

location of this hotel is great if you want to be close to border for early morning crossing. Staff was very friendly. If you get n late, there are several fast food outlets right next door (& gas too). Room was comfortable. Glad they have refrig/microwave in the room.

Not much---front desk was really bad in terms of my bill----kept saying my credit card was denied when in fact it was prepaid--they threatened to throw me out of my room unless I came immediately to resolve--did not understand that I had attempted to address it the night before when I noticed it was not my credit card # on the sheet. The person who […] checked me in, Ana, said that all the credit card numbers were incorrect to protect from fraud. they had my address wrong but she said it was an error from hotels.com. Waiting to see if my credit card charges reflect the receipts that I have in hand. I was exhausted from business long day and they kept me at front desk over an hour before owner straightened it out, and then when I tried to check out the next morning--same thing, said my credit card was denied, no communication among staff! Arrived early eat hotel and was told room not ready yet, returned around 5 pm and was informed there were no more non smoking double rooms available. We were offered a suite at the same rate but then it was discovered that was not actually available either. I was very happy that hotel staff accepted my large 9 1/2 month old German Shepherd puppy without question. Of course, he is a very good boy and completely house and obedience trained. I was very pleased with my stay. Pool and spa were great. Room was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our "staycation" thoroughly.

New, clean hotel. Indoor pool. Really friendly staff. Just a couple of blocks from the Titan Missile museum. The breakfast was really good with eggs, pancakes, sausage, as well as the cereal rolls and danishes. Fruit and yougart.

This place is tired, smells of too much deodorizer and carpet fresh. The carpets definitely have a cootie factor and for the money, it should be half the price. Breakfast was lame and we couldn't wait to leave. Find someplace, ANYPLACE but here.

This whole hotel smells like cigarette smoke! It's like designating a no peeing section in a pool. Please. And don't even bring your pet because you have to stay in a smoking room, even if you don't smoke! Plus, there is a $100 pet deposit fee. Geez, not everyone who owns a pet smokes, so why should we damage our lungs and health to stay in this hotel […] if we have a pet? Unbelievable. The only thing that made this stay ok was the breakfast buffet. Of course, the eggs are runny and taste like sausage. Not good if you HATE sausage! We stayed at the Holiday in Express in Green Valley in order to golf some of the courses in the area. The hotel was very accomodating to a late check-out on Saturday so we could shower prior to heading to the airport.

First room, toilet was broken We moved ourselves to another room. Security lock on the door wouldn't work, called the desk. Manager came, tried the lock and agreed that it was not working poperly. Said he would report it. That was the end of contact.

I paid in advance for a non-smoking room. When I arrived they said all they had left were smoking rooms. The hallway was filled with smoke. The people in rooms next to me smoked, and my room filled with smoke through the bathroom vents.

Room was nice and clean but the bathroom light did not work as did two other lights in the room. The TV remote would turn the TV on and off but not change channels or volume. So if you don't mind taking a shower in the dark and changing channels like the old days it was a nice stay for the night. Breakfast was the best part. The room was nice and clean. It had a refridgerator and a microwave which was a nice additive. Check in people were very polite. I used the hotel room to rough it cause I was there for Javalina hunting. Didn't feel like camping out this time.

i asked for a receipt at the desk when i checked out and they must of billed me to generate it because i was charged for the room on the visa i gave them. i contacted them by email and they have not credited it back yet. i guess i will have to take this up with hotels.com

The breakfast buffet was worth it. Staff were very nice and the area was very convenient and easy to get in and out of. Will definitely stay there again.

Easy to find,all the staff very freindly, we would stay there again without a second thought. Centrally loacated for lots of sight seeing activities. Staff went out of the way to be helpful. Pool clean and warm.

We always stop in Green Valley before we cross the Border on our way to Mazatlan, MX. This is the first year we have traveled with a pet so had to make a change from our regular place we stay. We could only get a smoking room with a pet? The room smelled like a combination of a dog toilet, a cat litterbox, a cigar bar, and an attempt to cover it all […] with the worst smelling deoderizer they could find. My dog was even offended. To be fair though, it may have been better in a non pet room? And the breakfast was very good. My choice for Green Valley is the Wyndham Canoa Ranch, but they don't take pets. Devamı

This is a nice little place in what used to be the middle of nowhere. I was surprised to find the level of service we found here. The room was clean and comfy, it had the coldest air conditioner I've ever had in a hotel room! The breakfast buffet was a little weak in the eggs, omelets and biscuits and gravy department but the staff friendliness and […] willingness to help and engage made up for it. All of the other items, bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and beverages were excellent. One caution, do not expect too much from the pool. It is inside, which in the desert is a good thing, but it is small, only 5 feet deep and had a lot of desert bugs floating in it, including a few desert cockroaches! I understand this comes with the territory and is not the fault of management. The hot tub was very hot and had great microscopic bubbles.
