Baymont Inn And Suites - Springfield

I wanted a hotel with and indoor pool and hot tub that was pet friendly for our return trip home from Thanksgiving and this fit the bill. Pool and hot tub were very nice and the room was more than fine. The location was a little out of the way for restaurants and shopping but right off of the innerstate.

Clean, reasonable price, let us have our dog, good breakfast except no ice water, double beds have dips in the middle but comfortable, quiet even though it's next to a major highway, room was too warm but had constant fan which helped with hall noise. wish I'd known the window would open to help cool the room. Friendly desk clerks.

Staff were friendly, room was clean and bed very comfortable. Found it odd that it was a no smoking hotel and staff were smoking outside the front door where you had to walk through smoke to get in. Overall had a very good stay

The Hotel staff at the front desk greeted us promptly, and cheerfully. We were given an accessible room, making things much easier on my wife. We even received a call from the front desk after we had been in the room a little while, asking if we had found everything and if we needed anything else. My husband, I and our youngest daughter stayed for two nights, a Fri. & Sat. Our purpose for the visit was to go to an open house at the UIS (University of Illinois at Springfield) campus for a tour. Clean, comfortable, quiet room with micro and fridge. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was one of the best we ever had! Breakfast room is a bit small and gets crowded but is kept well stocked.

Good value! Room was extremely clean, as were all the public areas. Staff was friendly. Only 2 very minor things:Had a non-smoking room but think it was originally a smoking room and they were still trying to get the smoke smell out. Cleaner smell was a little strong at first but seemed to dissipate. The breakfast buffet was good, but almost too much […] food for the counter space and not well-organized. I stay atleast 10 nights in Springfield every month since last 4 months. I have stayed at every single hotel/motel in springfield and I can assure you that you will not find any better deals than Baymont inn & suites in this town. Their price and facility is perfect for business or leisure purpose. They got business center, good hot breakfast, cleanest […] room i have ever seen, friendly staff, indoor pool and spa. Fitness room and coin laundry. Flat screen tv, which i have yet to see in 3 or 4 star motel's but they got it right here and all this for very low price. If you compare their price and amenities, service than its a bargain for any one. I would like to give three cheers to Baymont Inn & Suites for their excellent service. Devamı

Great Hotel, staff and location

I enjoyed staying at a hotel very much. I was most impressed with the A+ customer service. I would definetely stay again at this hotel!!!

Don't know how old this hotel is but it is starting to show its age; looked run down. It was little details from our toilet not working, moving to a room which had a sewer back up smell, to overall appearance. The one manager was very nice and attentive but was turned off by the other who seemed more interested in talking on his cell phone, even while […] getting us additional towels; what happened to personal customer service? This hotel was clean and well maintained. The Pool area was a little dark at night but clean and well kept. Overall totaly worth the rate. I would recomend this hotel to everyone.

Tub drained extremely slow, drain in sink very slow, toilet barely flushed. Nice stay other than bathroom issues.

Nice Hotel for the price...clean...friendly staff. Some of the furniture was a bit to bulky for the width of the room...perhaps it could have been arranged differently for an easier flow. The area that breakfast is served in was very small...too congested. Besides those two minor issues a nice place to stay.

the room was nice ,in a good location but tv did not work at all.i think the batteries were dead.i told them that i would come get some and they said no ,that the maintenance guy would come with them.he didnt.also, we had arrived very late --3am and i asked for a late check out which they gave us but the housekeeping staff woke us up at 10 am. when […] i told them about being woke up-they just said sorry.management lacks public relations skills.too bad for them.if they had been more understanding and helpful-maybe i would stay there again. Wonderful place. Reasonable room rate, king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a hotel. Included breakfast which is a plus. Definitely a keeper.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, decent breakfast including many options. Room outfitted much better than expected, even included a fridge and microwave, as well as hair dryer and large TV. PRO: Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice location right off of the interestate, free breakfast. I stayed here about 4 years ago and it was ok...but since then they have done a lot of updating and it looked SO much nicer and modern! Very nice rooms and nice painted walls and bed coverings! The hotel was nothing fancy but worth the amount of money we paid for a night's stay. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. It was a nice place to stay for a cheap price.

The location is good if you are wanting to spend some time in dowtown Springfield. It was just a short drive straight in and out from downtown Springfield, about 10-12 minutes. Breakfast was good, can get a bit stuffy in the breakfast room, but they had a fan going. My son enjoyed the pool but I thought it was a bit cloudy. We arrived several hours early for our reservation, the front desk was awesome and let us leave our bags in the conference room locked up until our rooms were available. We 14 people in our group and because they provided this for us we could carpool and see sights before checking in and not worry about baggage. Breakfast was awesome! Highly reccomend […] this hotel. Inn was clean. pool although somewhat dated was well kept. room had microwave and refrigerator a plus.....hot tub was nice and so was exercise room.....breakfast was good each morning. toilet was extremely low....hard for senoir citizen to use and then stand.... locks were touchy.....location was close to expressway for easy access.....staff very helpful.....Wifi […] also a plus..... Hotel was clean and well managed. Had a very nice stay here.

Good value and very helpful staff.

All of our towels that we took off the towel racks were dirty. They were not stained, they literally had makeup and dirt on them. When I told the gm, she said it was smudging from new towel racks that were installed. I am not an idiot. I know what was on those towels: DIRT! Do not be condescending to me. The hotel room was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent but the room they serve it in is SOOOO small. Not bad for an overnight stay.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the only thing that was bad was the ac in the room was ripping water on the floor.

Good place to stay. Clean, comfortable, no problems.

The location was all the way past all the attractions, but still only a 10-15 minute drive. Upon arrival we pulled into an empty lot and got nervous, but we were 30 minutes early for check-in. We drove around to see the gates for the dumpster wide open with garbage all over the ground and some old matresses on the ground behind it. We were allowed to […] check-in the 30 minutes early because the room was cleaned, but why wouldn't it be? There was no one else around! The man at the front desk was very nice. It was very hot in the lobby and especially in the elevator. The maids were still cleaning other rooms, so their carts right in the middle of the hallways instead of pushed along the wall was troublesome for people with luggage. The room was small, but nice enough. Previous guests dirty socks behind the nightstand, but the sheets and towels were clean. We went to the pool area next. The pools rail/handle had green like fungas or mold growing on it at the base and so did the jacuzzi on the bottom. It's an indoor/outdoor pool so it's enclosed but the windows are open. OF COURSE the smoking area is just outside another set of doors on the side of the pool that has the jacuzzi and shallow side of the pool, so if you dare to enter them then you and your kids will be proptley greeted by second hand smoke! Yuck. The air conditioner sounded like a semi truck engine, so sleeping was tough. Lastly, the free breakfast might have been nice if there was anywhere to sit! We went down at 7:30am and were greeted with a welcoming "good morning" from the woman stocking the buffet, but had to instead walk to Cracker Barrel next door since we could not eat in that cramped room. Perhaps if they set up the tables in a long cafeteria style instead then people could sit? They have them angled so that parties of 2 or 3 take up a 4 person table. Spend the extra money to stay closer to the sights and get a better quality/cleaner/uncramped place to stay! Devamı

We had a good experience at this hotel. The kids loved the pool. It was close to the Abraham Lincoln sites but far enough away that it was a quiet retreat. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was ver adequate.

Excellent place. Great and newly renovated rooms with flat screen TVs. Close to Lincoln sites. Great Customer service and friendly staff. Free Internet. Pool and Hot tub. Nice Breakfast.

The Baymont Inn & Suites was a good hotel and at a reasonable price. Our room was ready and we asked for a rollaway bed and that was there for us. The pool was nice and the hot tub was relaxing. :) We had delicious waffles for breakfast and they had a variety of food and the breakfast was included in the price of the room. We were sightseeing in Springfield, […] Il and we had to drive to the downtown area, but it was an 8 minute drive and not difficult to accomplish. The staff was accomodating with our need for extra towels and linens. I would recommend this hotel if you need a good, basic place to stay and you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room, as the room was not huge, but adequate. Devamı

Was a little out of the way, tucked away, but easy to find. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Mild musty smell due to humidity and pool moisture. Nice dated decor. Comfy bed.

The Baymont worked very well for our biking/Lincoln sites vacation in Springfield. We had no trouble getting our bikes into and out of our third floor room with the elevator. The location was convenient to the bike trails and Lincoln sites. The breakfast was larger than normal motel fare and helped us save money and get a good start on the day.
