This is not a hotel in the true meaning of the word. It is a pension with bed and breakfast service only. The manning of the Hotel over a weekend was minimal which meant there was no control over breakfast (starving East European coach load overwhelming the one young man on duty in the breakfast room. We went elsewhere). The lift only went to main floors […] and not the rooms on the mezzanine floor between main floors. As a result we had to struggle with heavy baggage up or down stairs (there was no porter just the receptionist who could not leave her post). As a 73 year old I managed to cope but not many would have done. I also wondered about the access for disabled people since the lift starts at Floor 1 and there are many steps to get up to it and to reception. The room was fine and the management very kindly donated a bottle of champagne. The room was well looked after except for the mini bar which received no attention whatsoever over the weekend. There was no bar albeit the privately owned Vienna/American bar adjoining the breakfast room, the bar is a smoking bar and cigar smoke wafts into the breakfast room. All in all a disappointing booking, not at all what we were looking for in a hotel and if I hadn't paid in advance I would have turned round in the first five minutes and gone elsewhere. Very nice hotel in the middle of downtown. Looks creepy from the outside but once we got into the room what a surprise! Clean, great service and a free bottle of wine welcome us. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying for a few days.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Right by the train that gets you all around the city. We had a really good time and the staff was really helpful. Rooms were good size and very comfortable. Bathroom had a nice large tub which was our first in Europe.

Rooms are not airconditioned and parking is expensive !

Stayed twice for one night each in a week at the start and end of our holiday. Only point of criticism apart from the lack of air conditioning, was that we were in room 106 for the second night and because of the heat, we left the window open (into the central court yard) so were woken at 6am by staff starting the day & then sounds of washing up for […] the next few hours. The Hotel Fuerst Metternich was nice- on a quiet street and close to shopping area. The only drawback with the Expedia booking was that it didn't include breakfast. Also rooms are small which is typical but kids needed a separate room.

The hotel is very conveniently located on the Mariahilfe strasse which is a good area for shopping enthusiasts. For me, the most important was that the hotel is very close to the old city center. Its 10-15 minutes walking to Karlsplatz and all the famous places in Vienna. The hotel is in a very nice old style building. The single rooms are not very […] big, but they have all the comfort and are clean and tidy. The breakfast is a bit expensive for the food they serve. If you are on a busy business trip it is fine to have the breakfast there, otherwise I prefer to have it in the countless cafeterias in the city's squares. This older hotel is in a good location, just off the main shopping street of Mariahhilferstrasse and with plenty of restaurants around. The staff were very helpful- they helped with booking taxis and concerts and had a free toothpaste and as of 2010, this hotel does have free Wi-Fi which was very helpful. My only major criticism was that the room (with […] a double bed) was rather cramped and that the double bed only had a single duvet. However it was snug and warm despite the subzero temperatures. Great location and helpful staff. Room was nice and our bathroom had been recently renowated. Breakfast was 13 euros, a bit expensive but good altogether. All in all, this hotel's good value for your money. Recommended.

Das Hotel an und für sich war ok, allerdings war das Zimmer nur mit einem Fenster mit Blick auf einen Aufzugsschacht ausgestattet, d.h. absolut kein Ausblick , ringsherum Betonmauern.

Beim nächsten mal in Wien werde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.Ich glaube das sagt alles über meine Zufriedenheit aus. Ideal auch die Tiefgarage um die Ecke und die tollen Möglichkeiten zum Früstücken in der Nähe.

Sijainti oli loistava, metroasema aivan lähellä ja kävellenkin pääsi moneen paikkaan. Hotelli oli siisti, mutta huone kulunut ja sänky epämukava. Kaikki toimi ja palvelu oli ystävällistä. Menisin kuitenkin uudelleenkin.

I had some trouble with my room. First, there was no desk in room, so I had to work in a very non-ergonomic position on the bed. Additionally, the hair dryer didn't work, the toilet seat didn't stay up, and the showerhead didn't stay up either. Отель удобно расположен близко от станции метро Нойбаугассе, это в двух остановках от Стефан-плац. Пешком от музейной площади в прогулочном темпе 15 минут. Сам отель твердые три звезды: чистый просторный номер, хорошая сантехника, хороший завтрак (может быть немного дороговат). Hotellihuone oli kulunut ja vanhanaikainen - mutta siisti. Hotellin ehdottomasti paras puoli oli sijainti; se sijaitsi vilkkaan kauppakadun sivukadulla. Sijaintinsa takia hotelli on varteenotettava vaihtoehto seuraavalla Wienin matkalla.

I was in Vienna for a combined business trip and week-end. This hotel was great for both purposes - close to the U-Bahn but also within walking distance from the 1st district and the Naschmarkt. The rooms were basic, comfortable bed and clean. Wifi was available on the room with codes that you get from the reception and worked okay (has to be renewed […] daily though). The breakfast was good but overpriced. I tried it one morning when in a hurry but I definitely recommend to take breakfast in either a bakery or on the close by Naschmarkt instead - often for half the price. Theres a fun drink bar on the street level - great cocktails but a lot of cigarr smoke so that's a minus. There is also a non-smoking side. Overall a good experience and very convenient location. ウィーン西駅に近く、とにかく利便性は良かったです。すぐ出てのところに地下鉄U3の駅もありました。ホテルは歴史があるのか古いでしたが、静かで快適でした。ただインターネットは無料でしたが、使用時間が限られていました。1日平均1時間半くらい。慌ただしく検索しました。

War zum letzten Mal dort, obwohl öfters in Wien. Frühstücksraum viel zu eng. Auskünfte an der Reception mangelhaft und ungenau, obwohl Personal sehr freundlich.

Jeg kom sammen med 13 venner til 4 dager i Wien, og alle overnattet på dette hotellet. Utmerket hotell og service. Rent og ryddig, og en frokost verdt pengene. Nært til alt, - også til rask offentlig kommunikasjon. Alle var strålende fornøyd med oppholdet .

Die Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich - unser vom Personal als Upgrade angepriesenes Zimmer? (es war von uns sowieso Comfort gebucht) war abgewohnt, mit Fenster in einen Lichtschacht neben dem Fahrstuhl im 4. Stock. Nach Beschwerde wurde uns ein sehr schönes, renoviertes Zimmer mit reizendem Balkon angeboten. Leider lässt die die Gründlichkeit des Reinigungspersonals […] zu wünschen übrig. Einmal wurde gar nicht geputzt, der Teppichboden wohl sehr selten gesaugt. Gefrühstückt haben wir für den halben Preis in den schönen Wiener Kaffeehäusern. Eines ist gleich um die Ecke. Die U-Bahn Haltestelle ist fast vor der Tür. Das Hotel ist durchaus zu empfehlen. Preis - Leistung stimmt. Devamı

いわゆるトラディショナルなホテルでその趣向の者にはまず満足。エレベーターが中階止まりで荷物を階段で運ばなければならない階がある。朝食は良く観光スポットへのアクセスも良い。ウイーンの夏は結構蒸し暑い日があり冷房設備が欲しいところ。

西駅から、歩くと15分弱。地下鉄U3で1駅の場所にあります。（地下鉄駅からは5分かかりません) 目抜き通りのマリアヒルファーから入ってすぐの路地に建っており、夜に窓を開けていると少し騒がしいこともありますが、それ以外はとても快適でした。 建物自体は古く鍵が開きづらいところもありましたが、いたって清潔です。 無料WiFiの接続も安定していますし、共有パソコンもあります。 スタッフの皆さんもとても親切で、リーズナブルな割に満足のいくホテルでした。
