PYR Marbella Hotel Apartament - Marbella

The hotel is close to everything, including the motorway! Since the AC was not on, had to have the windows open and this meant a lot of noise from the main south coast highway which the hotel is next to. Other than that it was clean. I stayed at the Hotel Pyr Marbella from 14/04/11- 17/04/11 on a hen do with 17 people (age range 25-55) The hotel was brilliant, fantastic location and the rooms are basic but very clean and you couldnt ask for more for the price. Puerto Banus is quite expensive, in fact compared to some spanish resorts it was very expensive, but the supermarkets were very reasnable and had everything you could think of in there, the place is beautifull and this hotel is a perfect location for everything!! The PYR is one of the original hotels of Puerto Banus and as such has a number of features - some good and some not so good. The location is one of the best you'll possibly find in Puerto Banus. Its directly in the centre, beside the marina. Hundreds of restaurants are around it and its 2 minutes walk from from the marina and beach. It's self catering, […] so there's a small kitchen in the room. There's a buffet breakfast available, and apparently a buffet dinner but this was not available during our stay (off season maybe?). There's a cafe with some cheap food too but I'd recommend eating outside in many of the great restaurants. There's wireless internet access available throughout the hotel and its better quality than in the other hotels I stayed - but still had major problems with it. I believe from talking to others that the Internet service in Spain in general is bad. On to some of the bad points - the hotel is very dated. The rooms are small and badly furnished. Televisions are tiny. Bathroom is badly lit and the shower built into the bath is not great. On the upside, there were 2 sinks+mirrors in the bathroom, which is always nice. The housekeeping was quite pushy about cleaning our room. The reception staff were great and provided a lot of help, including accommodating us when our flight was cancelled. Unfortunately we were charged full rate for the extra 2 nights we had to stay instead of the internet rate, which wasn't nice. Overall - great location, good service, bad quality. Devamı

Vi har bott på Pyr Hotell under vår vistelse i 10 års tid och både hotellet och läget är perfekt.

Location, location, location. Hotellet ligger i sentrum med gangavstand til alt. Selve hotellet er litt slitent, men plassering og pris gjør at dette er å anbefale :o)

Ligger sentralt til shopping og havnen i puerto banus.

Praktiske rom, hyggelig betjening. Svært god frokostbuffet. Beliggenheten var topp.

Hotellet ligger lättillgängligt nära marinan i Puerto Banus och med alla torg och köpcentrum runt hörnet. Dock är inte hotellet moderniserat de senaste 8-10 åren och rummen är rena men lite sunkiga. Gammal TV med "gammalt" utbud, typ Astras gratiskanaler... Priserna är moderata och jag bor mer än gärna på Pyr igen.

Stayed three nights in a triple room (three single beds). You couldn't hear much from the other rooms, but every little sound in the corridors could be heard in our room. Puerto Banus is a party town so people get back to the hotel really late at night... Otherwise it was fine. It had a big garage (that cost extra), a decent breakfast (that cost extra) […] and a small safe in the room (the key and lock cost extra). The service was a bit slow (extra towels and bed linen for the extra bed took 4 hours to arrive...). Devamı
