Hotel Castor the Vine - Berlin

Although the hotel advertises itself with four stars it's hard to understand where this has come from. There's a distinct feeling of penny pinching throughout the stay, from the old style keys with the large fobs (with a different hotel name in them), which you only get one per room, to the iPod dock included in the superior room but which you have […] to sign off from the reception against a small fee. The room only included towels etc for one, the second set had to be requested from the reception. The superior room has no difference whatsoever to the standard room except the coffee machine (with enough coffee for two cups) - the "improved toiletries" were not there, nor was it any bigger or better appointed than the standard room. One funny feature was that you get one wine glass, one beer glass and one water glass for every two person room. This really was penny pinching on a level which would be OK if this was a two to three star bed and breakfast. Good bits? It's very clean, nothing to complain about that, and it's very well situated if you're there for the nightlife in Schöneberg. The breakfast isn't bad either. Devamı

Nothing fancy, but clean, functional and excellent value in a great location - close to the Ku'damm, several U-bahn stations, and the restaurants and nightlife of Schoenberg

This is a basic hotel if you all you need is a bed and bathroom and you find the price acceptable. Room tv on the small side compared to other places. Does offer complimentary internet. (Me, a single traveler on vacation.)

A great, romantic little hotel well placed near the Ku'Damm shopping district by foot, a very short walk from the Wittenbergplatz station which itself is one stop from the Zoologischer Garten terminal. The rooms are small but comfortable and in fact identical in size to other hotels at a much more expensive price. The decor is definitely dated compared […] to ultra-modern hotels like the H2 but the place has plenty of charm in return. Breakfast was tasty with a large selection of meats, veggies, several different hot foods (scrambled eggs, bacon, german sausages), three different yoghurts, many cereals, lots of different breads and a coffee-making machine that was capable of espressos and hot chocolates - for 11 Euros it was acceptably priced, though you could probably eat for cheaper if you're not terribly hungry. Free Internet in our room was a great plus and it worked spotlessly. Maybe not the most mind-blowing hotel but an incredible value for the money. Recommended. Devamı

We booked this hotel last week for a spur of the moment stay this weekend. We were shocked on arrival to discover construction going on on every floor of this hotel; drilling was to be heard throughout. In addition, and although the work within the hotel began at 8am, there are further construction sites next door and across the street which both begin […] at 7am. If you plan to sleep past 7am maybe try elsewhere or call them before booking to see if the work is continuing. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortable except for the noise. Devamı

Excellent reception, exceptionally clean room, quiet location, good mattress, water VERY hot. Downsides ~ lack of space walking around bed, internet problems (but sorted out eventually), no air condidioning

Wireless internet would not work for me and hotel said another client had same problem...but they did not offer to sort the problem! I got a slight stain on a bed spread and they charged me full price for it...no insurance?

Very good and clean hotel. 10 min. walk from Kurfurstendamm.

Et behagelig og pænt hotel ,god senge og gratis WLAN !!

Hotellet er for dyrt i forhold til sin standard - hvis jeg skulle have betalt fuld pris, var det ikke ok. Alt for lille morgenmadsrum. Ingen aircondition - meget larm fra nabolaget, hvis vinduerne var åbne. Usmidigt at man skal logge ind på det trådløse internet hver gang og det går slet ikke med en smartphone.

Alles war sehr gut, aber kein Doppelbett. NUR 2 Einzelbett neben einander.

Et billigt hotel med høj kvalitet. Beliggende relativt centralt. Gode værelser, gode senge. Ok morgenbuffet.

Hotellet er et fint hotel til prisen. Det kan anbefales at spise morgenmaden på hotellet, da morgenmadsbuffeten er fin og varieret. Vær opmærksom på at prisen på morgenmadsbuffeter på caféerne er billigere end på hotellet, men er excl. drikkevarer – der gør at caféerne ender med at blive langt dyrere. Betjeningen er fin og medarbejderne i receptionen […] taler fint engelsk. Der ligger flere metrostationer i få minutters gåafstand fra hotellet, som i sig selv ligger centralt. Devamı

Ett mycket trevlig hotel med vänlig personal. Utan tvekan kommer jag att bo där även i fortsättningen.

Jeg må indrømme, at jeg havde ikke regnet med man kunne få et så godt ophold til sådan en god pris. Vi fik et værelse ved siden af elevatoren, hvilket lavede en irriterende lyd når den lukkede. Vi gjorde personalet opmærksom på dette om morgenen, og da vi kom retur om eftermiddagen, havde de allerede sørget for at reparere det. Fint hotel med godt […] stort værelse. God morgenmad. God rolig beliggende. Meget anbefalelsesværdigt. Devamı

Все четыре дня, которые я там пребывала, в гостинице производились ремонтные работы. Начиная с 9 утра стучали молотками и раздражала дрель. На двуспальной кровати размещались 2 матраса, и всю ночь я либо мой молодой человек то и дело проваливались в разъем между этими матрасами.

Was great. But it was a surprise that the Hotel was on the Main Gay Street hahah. was rainbow flags everywhere :))

Nooit langer dan 5 seconden gewacht. De baliebediende was er supersnel, en bij late thuiskomst werd ook direct opengedaan. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Parkeerplaats achter een groot hek, dus prima. (kost 10 euro per dag). Naast het hotel zit de Conrad Megastore voor de liefhebbers. verder metro, bus, kurfustendam, brandenburgertor etc op l […] oopafstand. Devamı
