Days Inn Havelock Nc - Havelock

The staff was the only saving grace of this Hotel. The ladies at check in were very pleasant. Had I not prepaid for this hotel over the internet where it was non-refundable, I would have went down the road to another hotel. The smell of mold on the bottom floor was so strong it literally choked me. The rugs were horrible!!!

The first room to which we were directed had a dead cockroach on the floor and was not clean. We had requested a king-sized bed in a non-smoking room, but when we arrived we were told that they only had two double beds available in a smoking room. The second room was no cleaner than the first, but it had not been used recently by a smoker so the smell […] was not too objectionable. There were fleas in the room, water stains in the carpet, and the frayed edges of the carpet had pulled away from the baseboards. This was not an attractive or inviting room and we were very disappointed as it was not up to the standards of other Days Inns in which we have stayed. We will never stay at this Days Inn again. The Days Inn we stayed at Sunday night really was a great place to be for our vacation, as it was only 15 miles away from the beach, very convenient for the purpose of our trip. We stayed 2 nights, the room was very clean. there was a lil odor when we first entered the room but then again it was a smoking room and the odor dissapated a few minutes after we arrived and got settled in. I would for sure stay again when I'm back visiting in that area.

We stayed in this hotel for just one night. We were checked in quickly by a friendly hotel clerk. The room and bathroom was clean. The wireless internet was horrible. You could get a signal for just a few minutes and then it would drop. The beds were not comfortable at all and the wall were paper thin. The mold smell was overwhelming. Will not stay again

It was a nice place to stay. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room that held the Continental breakfast was very small, but the food itself was good. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was not clean and the whole hotel just felt old and dirty.

If you low on funds then choose this hotel, otherwise pay a little extra for a better hotel.

Hotel was clean. I stayed in a non-smoking room which was ok, no closet - but there was a rack to hangs closes on. The hallways were a little smelly from cigaretts smokers. For the money, I would do it again.

This hotel was pretty good for the price and day before reservation. We were in a hury to go immediately and this one was the best for the money.

The hotel was fine for the price. It could stand to be remodeled but we only stayed one night and it was find for what we needed.

ok for a night on your way

old room furniture. peeling wallpaper, cracks in walls in bathroom. Paper thin towels. got awakened when attendent was vacuuming in adjacent rooms. pay alittle extra and stay somewhere else. Pool was only nice thing.

Our stay at Days Inn was a one day stay-over to catch July 4th fireworks. The Days Inn is close to what restaurants / theater that Havelock has available, which is a plus. The biggest attraction to Days Inn was that it was 30% less than any other hotel in the area. It also allows pets but ONLY in smoking rooms. The pool was in good shape and clean. Smoking […] room required air freshener & fan to be tolerable ($2, no big deal). If you are expecting a short stay and want to save some funds, it's a good way to go. For a longer stay in town, decide for yourself if the cost is worth it. We paid standard rate, I did not inquire about gov rate or perdiem rate. Devamı

The Days Inn was very nice and very close to all the things we wanted to do and see.

Iris was just wonderful. She checked us in and happened to be there to check us out. She assisted with information for restaurants and things to do. The cleaning staff was on the ball. The hotel does need some updating such as new bedspreads. Our room was cleaned by the time we returned from breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Motel is dated. You must walk through hallway with smoking rooms to get to your non-smoking room, so it smelled of smoke. Located on main drag with plenty of restaurants and stores. You can only turn right out of parking lot (divided highway). The bathroom was not very clean. the toilet comode was not seated properly. The carpeting needed valcuming. The staff was willin to please.

Checked in with complete instructions on Room location. In room found that the sink was slow to drain. Looked like dust or something close to the walls as if the edges are not vacuumed. Room had an odor, but seemed to dissipate as we ran the fan. All in all, I think it was an old motel with a lower price than others in the area and we "made do".

This motel was cheap and clean a great value. It is conveniently located next to a movie theater, store, and several restaurants. The pool was also inviting and refreshing. As a base point for scuba diving or fishing out of Morehead City it was about 20 min. away. You'll pay less per night in Havelock but it is not quite as close as being right in Morehead […] City. I stayed for one night. The pool was refreshing and the room was adequate.

Worst hotel ever!! Got a full bed size instead of queen size, the smell in the room was terrible, bathroom door lock was broken, TV set was broken, breakfast was terrible (toast maker was broken). Not recommended, very disappointed

For the price this is an overall value. We stayed here 15 miles from the coast and used it as a "home base". During the days and nights we drove down to the coast and beaches and then returned to the hotel at night. We saved a lot of money as this hotel costs much less than those on the shoreline. There is a reason the rates are lower at this hotel. This is an instance where "You don't get what you pay for".
