Location is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is very interesting. Only downside is the noise of other guests. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms and anyone passing by. This happens at all hours of the night.

just the kind of place you want to stay at when you travel to Europe....with courtyards instead of elevators....in the perfect location

Some of our best memories and pictures of Seville were made not at the Alcazar or at the Cathedral but at this wonderful hotel. This is what coming to Spain is all about. Be sure to have a glass of wine in the piano bar.

Lovely character hotel in great position.it is a little like a maze inside. you go through another door to find a different courtyards. the rooms are these.

In the best location, lots of sight,cafes and tapas bar on the doorstep. Lovely hotel but some of the rooms feel like they could do with a bit of updating.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful with one exception: there wasn't enough lighting in the room.

Hotel was lovely, room was extremely clean and comfortable. The one criticsim that I have is that the swimming pool was not clean. Excellent location and the courtyards make lovely surroundings.

If you like quirky you will like this hotel. It is very unique. Lovely little courtyards to sit in and explore. Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Pool was extremely busy when we were there at the end of August, so we could not use it. Seville is a beautiful city - well worth visiting and the hotel provides fantastic base.

My stay in Seville was excellent. This hotel is in a central location and very close to many of the 'must see' sights. Given that it is rated as a four star hotel a couple of areas that could be improved upon. The spa facilities operate as a completely separate function and even the basic sauna facilities need to be paid for outside of the standard […] hotel rates. The pool area which one of the drivers for me to make a reservation, is only available during the Spa opening hours i.e. 12-8pm, this is somewhat restricting given the very hot temperatures that this particular city experiences. Also the hotel has a number of lovely courtyard areas which does entice a resident to eat/drink out side however this is not officially permitted which is a shame. Overall a good hotel with reams of character and well constructed. A little more flexibility with regards to use of facilities would make it even better. Devamı

We have been touring Spain for 3.5 weeks, and this was the least relaxing hotel that we stayed in, and the most expensive. We had a tiny room, with very little room around the bed. We are slim and fit, but unfit and obese would not cope with it, and would have a serious risk of getting stuck on loo or in bath. The hotel is full of people looking slightly […] lost, as the rooms are in different connected houses which communicate with each other by an underground passage with various exits. You are given a plan, which is very unclear. The front of the hotel is in the old Jewish quarter, but our house accessed on to 2 dodgy looking passage ways. The most expensive rooms may be OK, but we did not enjoy this hotel at all. We were driving, and they are efficient about parking it with you a little way from the hotel, but if you want to retrieve anything from the car, you have to be accompanied. If you are looking for a typical sleek modern four star city hotel, this place if not for you. But if you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable unique hotel that fits in completely with the ancient surroundings of the old Jewish quarter of Seville it is. The trilingual staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are centered around a three story courtyard […] filled with potted pants, fountains and sculputure, like a combination of the best patios of the city of Cordoba. There is a piano bar with lots of cushy furniture, oriental carpets, and art work. Our bathroom was very nice, though, the jacuzzi tub was a tight squeeze for me, who stands 5'4" on a good day. The air conditioning duct was over the bathroom door which was at the other end of our rectangular 10 x 20' room from the bed. I got a big mosquito bite for a mosquito that flew in from one of our two courtyard windows the first night. And we couldn't figure out that to call room service, one must dial 609 (there is no information on the hotel in the room). Still this place has so much character, is so well located (the cafe across the street featured a Cuban style group of musicians that had us all singing and dancing one night) and is so welcoming that I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. I was so disappointed with this hotel based on all the reviews I read before booking. There are definitely some great things about it. The location is super convenient for seeing all the popular sites in Seville, and the character of hotel, with it's courtyards and walkways, certainly makes it unique. But this isn't much consolation when the the room […] basics are poor. First the air conditioning didn't work, and in Seville with day time temperatures in the 90's, this is important! We asked maintenance to look at it every day and they said they did but still it didn't work. Second the quality of the room itself. For a 4 star hotel I have certain expectations about the fit and finish of the room. Unfortunately I felt I was in a 1 star with chipped furniture and wall finishings with stains. I figured that as all the reviews had been so good about this hotel that there must be a difference in the rooms so I asked to move rooms but they were unable to accomodate me with a better room. Absolute nightmare to find in a car, but then this is true for any hotel in the Santa Cruz district (very narrow alleys and lots of one-way systems). It is in fact possible to drive to the front door, and then they take your car away for you (19 euros). We were upgraded to a junior suite (room 27) which was very large but on the ground floor and so […] very noisy in the morning. Swimming pool on roof only open during peak summer. The hotel neighborhood is very nice. But - our room was very difficult to find - we had to walk thru an alley making turns all the way to get to our room. After that - an elevator - hit no. 1 to get to room 430 nothing made any sense much too difficult to cope with. Also - lighting in the room was poor. Bathroom - beautiful though. Not recommended at least rooms in the building where we stayed. Very noisy since the room faced an alley and we could hear all conversations as if they were in the room. The decore was nice but the shower leaked water all over the floor and the toilet was very loose. We complained but nothing was done. Access to our building was thru a dark alley or […] thru an undergtround maze of tunnels. For the cost there should be better accomodations in Seville. My partner and I visited this hotel for a weekend break and could not have been happier with either our choice of hotel or its situation. It was based in the Jewish quarter and it took no longer than 10 minutes to walk into the centre. It was peaceful, even though it was full on the weekend we visited and quirky with its wonderful alleyways and courtyards. […] Such a lot was hidden behind the tall very dull exterior. It was a very interesting place with all kinds of character, but too expensive. You can't hear noise from the street, but the people in the halls (stone floors) could be heard clearly and the toilets make enough noise for you to hear at least 3 or 4 in you area. We had read lots of reviews and we certainly were not let down. We were shown a room (no 72) which was too dark for us. We asked to be moved and this was done immeditaely and without any fuss and we ended up in a room with lots of light overlooking one of the many courtyards. The hotel is truly enchanting, atmospheric and beautiful. Our room was well […] equipped and the bathroom and shower rooms were excellent. The breakfast is not to be missed with a full range of cereals, fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, cold meats and cheeses. The location is ideal for eating out and really close to the major sights. Beautiful hotel, with a truly authentic Spanish feel. Lovely location with no shortage of restaurants and bars to venture to. The hotel itself is pretty unique. Different passageways and routes ensures an interesting stay. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and the facilities in the hotel were perfect. The pool was a welcome addition in the […] soaring heat but there could be more sun loungers as it can get pretty crowded up there in the evenings. The hotel is in a convenient location, with an easy check in and looks great from the outside. A very nice square across the street for coffee. The layout of the hotel is a little confusing, but kind of fun at the same time, but I did become tired of walking the long distance to the room each time I went out. The rooftop pool is small, but with great […] views. The 19 euro breakfast was over priced for what it was, when you can have the a very good breakfast across the street for under 6 euros. The strangest thing was a swarm of mosquitoes in my room. The only reaction I got when I informed the front desk was a nice lady with a large aerosol can. This was another charming hotel by the Casa de Juderia which is a wonderful chain of quaint hotels in Spain. It was in the heart of the old section of the city and very convenient to the cathedral, great little shops and cafes and the other sights. The rooms are a little worn but the bathrooms are big and updated and the hotel oozes charm. It is a bit […] of a hike to your room through a maze of courtyards but they will help you with you baggage. it is also not convenient to park as the garage is at the end of the block (because the streets of the old section are extremely narrow and one way) but someone from the hotel will go and get your car out of the garage. You just have to walk up the block to meet them and it isn't included in the price of the room. The best thing is that we discovered after a very long hot day of sightseeing that this hotel has a lovely pool on the roof. It was exactly what we needed after touring Spain in the 100+degree heat for 10 days. A great find. Devamı

A bit on the pricier side, but worth it. We liked it so much, we ended up staying two separate times during a 1.5 week trip to Spain. The staff was great, extremely friendly and helpful. The historic hotel itself is very unique. We explored the numerous courtyards and underground corridors with enthusiasm. Our rooms were nicely appointed. Both provided […] a bath and separate shower/toilet. One shower tended to leak around the glass door onto the floor; the only real inconvenience. Comfortable beds and good AC even in the end of July heat wave. The gardens and fountains and all public areas were very well maintained (scrubbed each day!) The rooftop pool is small but convenient, but perhaps a little overchorinated (better than under chlorinated though!) It has limited hours (12-8 pm) but good to break the mid-day heat. The location is fantastic, close to everything: the Alcazar, the Cathedral, the Plaza de los Toros. Recommend getting the buffet breakfast included with the room rate otherwise it's a little pricey. Numerous cafes and restaurants were right across the street or within short walking distance. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay again. If you are bringing a car, be aware that parking is available off site in numerous public parking garages (less $$ than hotel's valet parking fee) within 5-10 minute walk of the hotel, so pack lightly. Absolutely THE BEST neighborhood to see classic Seville and Andalucia - Santa Cruz has the Cathedral, Alcazar Real, and is so close to El Arenal for the flamenco district, the bull ring and to Parque Maria Luisa for Plaza de Espana. You can walk EVERYWHERE from this hotel including to literally dozens of restaurants and twice as many shops. What sets […] this converted palace apart from the other hotels in the same neighborhood are 1) the customer service - multilingual and very accommodating staff and 2) the property itself with charming courtyards at every turn, a beautiful common room "piano bar" with live piano music and happy hour, and amazing landscaping throughout the twists and turns of the layout. I also greatly enjoy the breakfast - hot and cold buffet with no less than 4 dozen choices of fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, cereals and drinks plus an option for made to order eggs, crepes, and churros. The challenge remains to find a good GPS that can actually get me to the front door of the hotel through the narrow winding Santa Cruz streets but I know where the parking garage is about 2 minute (at most) walk away so that's not even a big issue. This hotel costs more than some but considering all the pluses, it's well worth it to take guests there on their one trip to Seville. It makes a wonderful impression and I enjoy myself as well. Trying to find this hotel by car, even with the help of a Satnav, is not for the faint-hearted. We were lucky to get parking on site, but the entrance to the underground parking area was so narrow, we handed the keys to hotel staff for them to negotiate the impossibly narrow spaces. The hotel is made up of clusters of rooms around central courtyards […] and access to them is via a labyrinth of underground tunnels. It takes a while to memorise the route to one's room! Our room was well furnished, but will be needing a facelift in the near future. The carpets were looking as if they needed a steam clean. The bathroom was large, but not well laid out. There was plenty of room for two washbasins, but only one was provided and there was just one shelf for toiletries, glasses etc. All the rooms are different, however, so these comments may not apply to other rooms. The courtyards are charming, with flower boxes and fountains. There is a roof top pool which was welcome when the temperatures hit 42C. Breakfasts were excellent with everything on offer from smoked salmon to traditional Spanish fare. If you are looking for a well positioned hotel, especially for the Santa Cruz area and one with lots of character, this is it! Devamı

Room was lovely and nice and clean, but air conditioning did not work and after numerous times of asking for it to be fixed was still not, as it was in the 40 temperature wise this was very uncomfortabe to sleep in and get changed in. In the end they offered us to cahnge rooms but as we were only there for another night we asked if they had a fan whcih […] was acceptable. This was a shame as the hotel itself is beautiful and in a very good position in the centre of Seville, would definetley stay there again. Has a nice pool on the roof. Devamı

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything that matters in Sevilla. It is really a great experience to go through all the secluded inner patios though uderground passages. It is built on a series of all houses in the Seville jewish quarter and you will love it. It is really a different hotel, mor in the style of the Spanish Paradors!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. From the time you arrive, you will be amazed with this hotel. I was a little surprised when they had a porter show us to our room so that "we wouldn't get lost", but we never did! The hotel is charming with stairs and little courtyards all over the place. There are lots of great restaurants that you literally could fall out the front door and find. The location is excellent and within walking distance of everything. Liked the hotel and staff. Very welcoming and ideally situated for sightseeing on foot. I was not aware of just how difficult it was to drive and park there- perhaps I should have researched this more so I do not blame the hotel. Drivers should be aware that just getting the car to the hotel is a fraught and, in our case, time consuming affair.

My husband and I spent three nights at this beautiful hotel. It was so refreshing to stay at a 4* hotel that reflected the character of the local area. It consists of numerous buildings restored and joined by passages and small terraced areas with fountains and seats. We understand the hotel was full but apart from at breakfast we hardly saw anyone […] else. The breakfast was wonderful but expensive if not included in the room tarrif. Our room was 5 mins walk from the hotel entrance going up and down numerous flights of stairs, under the cellars and across a back street to a seperate building. this journey had to be made every time you left the room, which was small, dark and dingy. When I complained the receptionist told me "I should have paid for a superior room"

Comfortable, well located in area near Cathedral. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast included in the room. Would definately choose this hotel again.

This is a lovely Hotel within walking distance of the Cathedral.It included breakfast which was excellent.The room was clean and quiet.We enjoyed this Hotel so much we stayed in the same chain in Sevilla.

The hotel itself was very pretty, with lovely open terraces to relax. It was also in a great location, with all attractions within close walking distance. We arrived from the train station which was only a 5 minute taxi journey away. I would stay in this hotel for my next trip back to Serville

the rooms are set up in a maze; it took us 3 days to find our room on the first try. cleanliness left something to be desired. the only redeeming quality was the good location.

This hotel was truly unique, in a great location, with excellent service, and a great breakfast buffet. The have a pianist playing each day in the comfortable lobby, free Internet in the lobby, and a free in-room safe. You can walk almost anywhere you want to go. Great hotel!

This hotel was once a castle and can be a bit confusing because you go through tunnels, halls, and outdoor patios to get to your room. The hotel staff walks you to your room and you can call them to lead you out if necessary. My husband and I found the maze to our room part of the fun. Wow, I booked this as a surprise for our last night in Seville, from the moment we entered the main wooden, vaulted and tapestry lined vestibule I knew we were in the palace for dreams. After check-in and a polite and intriguing guided tour via the sunken spa areas and mosaic corridor to our roof top rooms with secret second stairwell uptp our nest […] ! ( a double with Spa bath) our eyes were still widening. The sheer variety of courtyards, antiquities, collections of oddities and eclectic furnishings with lifts at either end of the complex Casas is an artistic treat. We enjoyed the rooftop pool to ourselves with robes and sunset views. I was forced to venture into Seville city's Alcazar ( wow and more) and will return whenever i deserve to ( hint hint ) Very quiet in the later hours, for adults, for romantics, for dreamers, this is a seductive and quality place. And yes the breakfast is a highlight after all this too, recommend it ? i think id like to live here for good ! Devamı
