We travelled around the world and this hotel was reseanable price the onlt thing that was outstanding for me was free internet you could use skpe like you was at home where most hotels have charges and none had free download. Would recommed anytime..

Great location and hotel, would recommend

Air, bed, towels, carpet and room size were excellent. Facilities and operations are uneven, some elements being well above average and others are well below. What did not helped was the condition of the bath: a small L-shape fiberglass bath tub with second life paint chipping and with spots of candle wax and greasy surface... I could also distinctly […] follow my neighbor's cell phone conversation. The hotel's menu was not particularly inspiring so I went to the Sophia for dinner and to the Westin for breakfast which were both great choices. Devamı

I loved our room! The bed and pillows were sooo comfy! It was modern and simply beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The location was decent...there were quite a few bums around the area and we heard a lot of sirens as the night went by. The bathroom was also kind of small and there is no vent in there. Hotel was located close to the area we wanted and was very reasonably priced. The rooms were old but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there is a Greyhound bus station across the road and a train track very close by so it was a bit noisy. The staff were very helpful.

This hotel is within walking or driving distance to the popular spots in San Diego, the only downside of this hotel is the high price to valet park at $26 per night (no exceptions) unless you want to park down the street at a public parking structure at $15-$18/ night and the noise from downtown, sirens, people screaming, etc.

Two friends and I stayed at The Bristol, and we were disappointed to find two double beds (instead of two queens,) however did note the small room size would've made it difficult to fit two queens. The beds were comfortable, regardless, we were just a bit cramped in the room overall. I imagine if you had a king-room with two people it would be just […] the right size. When we attempted to engage the front desk to reserve us a table at a local restaurant, they did not do so, rather provided recommendations and sent us on our way. Given we did not have phone numbers, etc., and all the front desk staff advised they were "conceirge," we anticipated they would be a bit more accommodating to that tyle of request, and actually call the restaurant for us. Overall a decent experience, the accommodations were okay for a boutique hotel and were clean and charming. I'd recommend staying there, but not as a group larger than two, otherwise reserve multiple rooms. Devamı

Our stay at this hotel was a dream. The service was immaculate and the quality of the room we stayed in was outstanding. Everything was very clean and comfortable and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Can't wait to stay here again. The only negative would be the parking fees (which are similar across the city). Great hotel overall.

The hotel was very close to the Gaslamp District for eating and shopping! I also attend a conference at the convention center and the San Diego Trolley went right by the hotel to the convention center. The hotels beds are "awesome"!

I stayed at The Bristol for the tail-end of a business trip. Hotel was clean, rooms spacious, close to Horton Plaza and other amenities, but a good walk to the convention centre and harbourfront. Just a few blocks from the Gaslamp District and tons of great restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating - easily directed us to some good restaurants […] and gave some good advice on how to get to some out-of-the-way places. My only caution is that, despite it being downtown, I did not like this particular part of the neighbourhood and would not feel comfortable walking alone in the evening. Very nice hotel in Downtown San Diego. Great location. One block from Horton's Plaza. Easy walking to Gaslamp District, House of Blues. Too many places to eat and have a drink within walking distance to count. Rooms are very classy. My only complaint is only vending is the in-room mini bar. I think that $3 for a can of soda is a bit outrageous but there […] is a 7eleven around the corner. Very nice overall stay. Devamı

Very cute hotel. Loved the Andy Warhol color scheme. Little small of a room, but good for price. Comfortable bed. Loved the green aspect...particularly $10 off valet with hybrid car. Front desk very helpful, such as fixing double charge on parking.

We have stayed at the Bristol a number of times and it is always a pleasure. Besides being close to everything in the Gaslamp District it is very comfortable and stylish. It's a lovely hotel.

I had never heard of this hotel chain, but read the reviews on Hotels.com, loved the value for the price, and was not disappointed. Very nice hotel, great location, and very friendly staff at check-in/out. Only a few blocks from the USS Midway (highly recommend this tour), and the gas lamp quarter. Awesome restaurants and bars. I love the Bristol hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the gas lamp district and it's close to the freeway. I just wish they gave hetel guests a better discount on their vallet parking.

Love staying downton at the bristol. Always stay there!

Clean rooms and good location. Worth the money, would stay there again.

This hotel is located very close to gas lamp district and the mall. Its well worth your money and some!

Good comfortable hotel with modern furnishings and excellent bathroom. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Use of the internet in reception area is free.

Nice enough hotel in a good location walking distance to the gaslamp quarter. However, my window was jammed open, and the outside noise woke me up 4 times over the course of the night, even though I had earplugs in. Also, room had a door to the room next door, but it didn't lock, so although the double door on the other side locked, my door did not […] lock, and not so secure. Devamı

When we arrived in our room is was very hot and muggy, so we turned on the air conditioning. After 30 minutes we were still sweating so called the front desk and they said to make sure it is on "auto" and that it would take at least 15 minutes to start feeling anything. We went out shopping for hours and came back to a room that was still muggy and […] hot. We talked to the person at the front desk and they sent maintenance up very promptly. Maintenance said it is definitely not as cool as the other rooms and he called the front desk for us to get into another room on the same floor. The hotel was full so this was not a possibility. We were told they would call us the next day to put us in a room after people check out. We never received a call, we never received a new room. We continued to sweat, which made for a very uncomfotable night trying to sleep. Other than this problem, the hotel is beautiful, and very centrally located. Devamı

We stayed at Bristol just for one night, the room was really nice, large and comfortable with every thing we needed and expected. The only complain is about the bathroom door which was sliding and did not actually close the room.

I stay here all the time. Hotel is right in the middle of everything you would like to do.

for the rate i paid, i could not have gotten a better experience.

My wife and I had a great time at the Bristol. One of the best things about the hotel was the location. We were right in the heart of downtown and were minutes away from numerous restaurants and other fun activities. The hotel was only a few blocks away from the Gaslamp Quarters as well. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was always helpful. […] The one negative would be the amount of sirens that we heard during the day. It did not take anything away from our stay but I think we just heard more than we anticipated. Considering that, we slept very well and do not remember hearing any sirens during the night. I would easily recommend this hotel. The price is very reasonable and it is in an ideal location. You will not be disappointed! Devamı

A very nice, service oriented hotel. They were very friendly and helpful, it was very comfortable and not pretentious. They gave us a couple of free drink vouchers and a local beer on draft, everything was great.

While staying at the Bristol on business, we enjoyed friendly service from all of the staff. The conference room was on the top floor with a roof that opened, giving us control of how much fresh air was let in.

I went to San Diego with my friend to begin 10 days of vacation. The Bristol Hotel was a great beginning! Staff is friendly, they welcomed us with a drink coupon for their hotel bar. To park your car is $26/ evening they ran out of rooms and had to give us a room with one king instead of two queens. i was traveling with a friend not my husband - that wasn't ideal. in fact we booked with bristol rather than sofia hotel becuase sofia only had king beds so this was VERY disapointing!

Had an absolutely amazing stay at the Bristol Hotel. It is so close to Gaslamp so it's very easy to grab a bite to eat. Only took me 10 minutes to get to the airport as well. The room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. Just be prepared to pay 26 dollars for valet parking. In my mind, it was worth it […] to use valet parking. Devamı
