Sleep Inn Sarasota/Bradenton Airport - Sarasota

The only upsetting items was the hotel put a $100 hold on my account for "incidentals" The is over 50% of my overall bill for the my stay. Their posted policy states they may hold 15% and it may take 10 days to release from my bank. When I inquired about why so much was being held, they told me it was being held by you - Hotel.com and not them!!! Considering […] the hold was not Hotel.com, like my credit card was charged by you before I got there! The hold was under another name and I am assuming the Sleep Inn itself. I feel they totally lied about it AND they used Hotel.com as the scape goat. You may want to reconsider your relationship with this particular location. Thank you Devamı

When we arrived it was dark and the hotel was very difficult to find . We made several trips through the airport and finally found it. But overall the Hotel itself was great, now that we know how to find it will probably stay there again

very old fashion type of motel , room very small , Airplane style bathroom , 1980 TV's, for another $20 you can stay in much better place like the Marriott Courtyard or the Hyatt place.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. I spent a little extra money for a room here expecting a more pleasant experience, but the entire third floor had a weird smell resembling stale Italian food and my room smelled like it was overdosed with febreeze as to cover up some other unpleasant smell. This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and the price was more than reasonable. If you are in town for class, then as an Argosy student this is a great choice!

The hotel was dilapidated and the air-conditioning didn't work

Building shows signs of wear. The look of it isn't all glamorous, but I slept extremely well. Quiet and very comfortable. WiFi too!!! Staff is extremely nice. It's away enough from heavy traffic, but about a 5 minute drive from constant population. Close to the airport as well. Overall a good experience. Sure, I'd do it again.

great location for argosy university students and visitors.

I learned there are a couple more questions that should be asked before reserving a room for a handicapped person. The room had been converted from a regular room to handicap which left little to no room for an electric wheel chair. The bathroom was large enough but the there was a low walled tub instead of a roll-in shower. The security bars in the […] tub were made for a tub not a shower. The slip guard strips in the tub are either worn or ineffective. We managed with some difficulty to use the shower. A handicapped person who has ever fallen is cautious about slippery surfaces. The service was outstanding. The front desk attendant was extremely helpful with directions and making sure breakfast accomodations were suitable. I mentioned an odor that emitted from the A/C unit when on as we were leaving, suggesting the filter might need changed. I hope it was attended to. Devamı

The staff is very friendly and helpful at this hotel. It was convenient and easy to find. The landscaping outside was lush, if overgrown. However, the common areas were very, very dirty - the hall walls, floors and chair rails were disgusting. There were numerous areas in the lobby ceiling where the roof had leaked and it had not been repaired. The […] lobby was very tired looking and desperately needs to be refurbished. There was a door open to the back part of the office area and that area was very, very dirty and certainly not maintained at all. But to my surprise our room was relatively clean. The bed linens were fresh and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom as fair as far as cleanliness went. The toilet seat needed replacing. The breakfast area did not appear clean and inviting...in short, had I not checked into the room at 11:00 P.M. I would have gone elsewhere. It's a shame because it could be a dynamite hotel. Devamı

I come to Sarasota 3 times a year and this is one of the only two places I like to stay. The staff is always friendly, the location is perfect, and I always feel comfortable and safe. The only thing that would make it perfect would be if my room had a mini fridge- but hey no-one's perfect (and you might be able to request one).

This hotel was a freshing change from the previous hotel we stated at in Sarasota. Sleep Inn was very nice/quiet location directly across from the airport. High-comfy beds; very clean rooms. It was a great, quite place to rest during a softball tournament. Staff was great and helpful. My daughter got injured playing the game, staff was so helpful with ice for her, letting us check in early so she could rest and making sure we got what we needed. We plan to stay there again.

At the arrival the lobby assistance was not to familiar with the surrounding area but they try their best and there were very nice and polite. Locations, close to the airport and pretty quiet. We stay for five days and I wish they change the towels. Also the breakfast was little frightening with the donuts and cinnamon sweets out of the box (not fresh) […] and the fruit selection of bit up apples and dry out tangerines were disappointing since fresh bananas comes a long way ( they yummy and cheep). Overall breakfast need some improvements and cleaning refreshment like fresh towels . Beside that the stay was quiet and pleasant. Devamı

The desk lady had no personality was she was not friendly and was not mean either and the hallways had a funny smell but overall it was ok

Very cozy place, nice location, appealing surroundings and centered located. Very clean and very well maintained.

Luck was on our side when we picked the Sleep Inn. Clean, comfortable rooms, truly excellent service, and very economical! Perfect location to the Ringling Museum and the Ca' d'Zan mansion, two of the must see places we wanted to visit. The staff was always eager to please and helpful in answering all of our questions. The manager, Anna, was very helpful […] in finding restaurants we would like. She went above and beyond by making reservations for us! She made us feel like family rather than just another guest at a hotel. The breakfast was good. We paid at least $100 less than the other hotels around and had better service and accommodations. For the savvy traveler, this is a must! For the traveler wanting to experience true customer service, this is a must! Devamı

The hotel is OK, but there is a special smell inthe corridor.

This hotel is near the airport. If you do not need to stay near the airport, your going to OVERPAY for this hotel. Phone in room did not work. Water leaked into room from outside rain. Bathroom in need of major remodel. Bugs were everywhere. ALL rooms listed as in room microwave / mini fridge.... not so. $10.00 more per night unless you complane and […] complain. Overall, not worth the hassle, unless you NEED to stay near the airport. There are few as good about 2 miles from this hotel for $20.00 less a night. Devamı

I was very pleased with my room at the Sleep Inn. I was there to move my daughter into the dorm at New College and the hotel location could not have been better. The room was clean and comfortable, although the TV reception wasn't terrific on all channels. Breakfast was good and seemed to be well maintained. I would stay here again!

The room was extremely small and the bed was uncomfortable. The bed is right beside the air conditioner, so cold air blows directly on your head while you are sleeping. The first room we were given had a terrible odor, so we moved to a second room. It still smelled a little musty, but was not as overpowering. Hotel was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Very quiet, even though it's right across the street from the airport. Good internet access. Good breakfast with make your own waffles. Enjoyed our stay.

Great Location - next door to the Ringling Museum. Clean, safe, polite welcoming personnel. I have read the reviews and took a risk. Will stay there again.

Good value and good location for short business stays. Free internet and continental breakfast.

I really was suprised that this hotel is literally right across the street from the airport. It took less than ten minutes to get to everything that I needed, Pirate City, Walmart, great restraunts.

Tolerable for the price convenient location but not clean enough for me I transfered after 1 night to the Marriot courtyard next door.

das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig in der Nähe vom Flughafen und dem Ringling Museum of modern Art. Ein einfaches ordentliches Hotel mit dem für Amerika üblichen kontinentalen Frühstück. Eignet sich gut für eine Nacht wenn mann von Orlando weiter in den Süden möchte.
