It said on the website it was a 3.7 star hotel. Well they lie. Dirty, damaged, broken rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and felt so comfortable here. The hotel is a good twenty minute walk from the city centre along the Arno river but it is a beautiful older hotel with a proper lobby - something that's not very common these days! As others have commented, the hotel is far from some of the sites but it's only a 15-20 min walk on cobbled stones (bring walking shoes). Close to Santa Croce, Piazzale Michelangelo, Oltrarno, and of course, the race route for the Florence Marathon the last Sunday in November. You must ask for the Wireless Internet login at the front desk, my key didn't […] work every day after coming back from sightseeing, there is only ONE outlet plug for you to charge anything (iPod, camera battery, computer, etc). Breakfast buffet served 7 to 10am with nice selection of breads, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon. Other reviews indicated minimal toiletry items - soap, shampoo, conditioner and hotel provides clean towels and maid service. Location excellent - right by the Arno river Breakfast food and service can be improved: should provide freshly made fried egg free instead of charging 5 euro Ramp at the hotel main entrance only on one side and too steep for ladies to pull their heavy luggages up to the hotel; hotel should have porters to assist

This was a good hotel, clean and friendly service; buffet breakfast had more choice than one normally sees in most European hotels. Only negative comment was that the room was a bit small compared to North American standards but then most Italian hotel rooms are smaller.

Hotel is great overall as far as cleanliness and service. It is a little far away from the Town center. if you don't mind walking a mile and a half to all the sites or take the bus each time, then this hotel is alright. The price is certainly very affordable. The breakfast is very very bad . The fruits are not fresh. We had to leave early to go to Pisa […] so they pack breakfast for us. The bathroom was not at all usable. The shower area seemed to be a makeshift arrangement, and water was spilling all over the bathroom when anyone took a shower. There was no bath tub. The placement of the tissue holder made it very difficult to use the toilet. In addition, the air conditioning was turned off every night in the middle of the night. […] There were mosquitoes in the room. The wood frame around the bathroom door was rotten and water came out on to the carpet. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Devamı

Between the outdated style, less than cheerful hotel staff, and the abundance of mosquitoes, this will be the last time we give our patronage to this hotel in Florence. I understand that mosquitoes are plentiful in Florence, but they seemed out of control in our room. Additionally, they did a great job of getting some wonderful pictures up to represent […] the hotel, but it feels like I'm stepping into a movie straight out of the 70's / 80's while you're walking to your room. This hotel was a real value. Great room, lots of space, beautiful, and right on the river. Fantastic. The staff was efficient and helpful. This is my go-to hotel in Florence.

Overall this is an excellent hotel. It is clean and comfortable. The room was small but every room we stayed in in Italy was. The bathroom was contemporary and well-appointed. The shower was a rainwater type. And it was spacious. This was a nice feature after a long day of walking the streets. The hotel is only a short walk to the centre of town and […] a ten Euro cab ride to the train station. And because it's situated next to the Arno, we decided to have a picnic on the shore on night. The staff was courteous and as helpful as they could be. There was some language barriers, but that's to be expected in any foreign country. They also included a jogging route and map which was a nice touch. The most problematic thing we encountered with this hotel was the coffee. The breakfast buffet was great. But the coffee was probably the worst I've ever tasted. Not a big deal in the whole experience, sure, but coffee just seems like something a hotel offering breakfast buffet should get right. I would certainly stay in this hotel again, but I would avoid the buffet. Devamı

This is a very nice hotel right near the center of the city and is perfect for seeing many of the sites.

Although it is not the fanciest looking hotel, it is a hidden gem considering how easy is to pick the bus to the city, less than 2 miles walking distance to the city center and amazing staff service. We did have a headache with our room A/C but that's because what the hotel considered as cold air, it was fan like temperature. Considering the weather […] was pretty much over 80 degrees and the hotel room was not freezing or at least cold when the temperature was it's max, that's our only dissapointment. But, if I had to return I would, but in a cooler season, hehe. The location is worth 100% the price we paid, the staff is great and the room was clean and basic comfortable. Devamı

we liked this hotel - the room was small but claen, the breakfast very good - but, most of all, we liked the park across the street, where each evening after visiting museums and eating in restaurants and cafes we bought a bottle of wine at a small cafe in the park and sat by the river arno as the sun set. it's a nice spot, where locals hang out. a […] 10 minute walk along the river into town was fgine for us. Smallest room Ive ever seen.

Es un hotel muy cómodo, creo que faltan mayores indicaciones para el acceso. Queda cerca de los lugares de interés turístico, sin estar en medio de éstos, por lo que resulta agradable. Siempre está lleno de grupos de turismo el lobby. Los precios del bar son convenientes.

Buona la sistemazione in camera (con bagno recente) e la colazione. Grande struttura che si trova a 15 minuti circa di passeggiata dal centro, sul lungo Arno, che quindi risulta comodo per visitare la città. Ottima la disponibilità e la cortesia del personale.

Hotel situé à environ 10min de marche de toutes les attractions touristiques qu'offre Florence. L'intérieur est propre, le hall est vaste et très accueillant, très appréciable. Les chambres sont propres, bien qu'un peu "old-fashion", le lit est confortable et (très) grand! Jeden Tag werden Busse voll Amerikanern oder Asiaten oder sonstige Touristen vor dem Hotel ausgespuckt. Das Frühstück ist armselig. Der Kaffee grottenschlecht. Bestellt man einen Capuccino statt der graubraunen Brühe, wartet man bis man fertig gefrühstückt hat. Hotel etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums. Wenn ich so ein kleines stickiges Zimmer suche, kann […] ich auch mitten in der Stadt buchen. Ein Bunker mit Tausenden Zimmern, ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, für Touris ohne Stil aber ok. Elegimos una habitación cuádruple y era demasiado pequeña para los cuatro.

Übernachtung (2 Nächte) war ok, da wir zu einem sehr günstigen Preis gebucht hatten, daher war das Zimmer eher klein und häßlich, aber sauber. Fernseher + Safe funktionierte nicht, auch nicht nach Reklamation. Lage gut: 15 Min. zu Fuß zur Ponte Vecchio. Frühstücksbuffet gut, aber Kaffee ungenießbar. Das Hotel liegt in Gehdistanz zu allen Sehenwürdigkeiten von Florenz. Oeffentliche Transporte in unmittelbarar Nähe. Kulinarisch etwas vom besten in Italien.Zahlreiche gute Restaurants.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Florence à pied (15 min du centre).Chambre confortable mais mauvaise isolation (on entend un voisin parlant fort ou le bruit de leur TV).Le petit déjeuner est copieux (à volonté).Difficile de garer sa voiture (et leur parking est à 20 euros la nuit).Le personnel ne parle pas le Français.

Conveniently located next to the highway and at the same time walking distance to the center. Modern, spacious rooms and good breakfast.

Vi fik en meget venlig og professionel betjening hele vejen igennem. Vi ankom om formiddagen, men kunne uden problemer få vores bagage opbevaret og fik en præcis oplysning om hvornår værelset var til rådighed. Det samme på hjemrejsedagen hvor vi rejste om aftenen.

Hotellet ligger fint til med gåavstand til sentrum, spisesteder med mer. God frokost med bred utvalg. Vi har bodd her flere ganger når vi har vært i Firenze og kommer gjerne tilbake.
