Comfort Inn Gurnee - Gurnee

This hotel was not well maintained. The pool was dirty and full of chlorine, the room was tidy at best and the "continental breakfast" in the morning was terrible - - not stocked and very few choices.

Within walking distance of the mall and lots of restaurants. Two miles to Six Flags.

Requested a nonsmoking room, but ended up with a smoking room cleaned to be nonsmoking. It smelled OK at checkin, but by morning you could smell the smoke. The hallway smelled very strongly of smoke.

The Comfort Inn is one of our go-to hotels because we need a smoking room and they have them, we've booked "smoking" rooms online in the past and found out when we got to the hotel there was no smoking in the building. The one drawback I will mention is that the supposed two queen sized beds we booked turned out to be double beds instead. I felt lied […] to. The food was good, the service great! Nice pool and hot tub very clean.. We will go back again!

In general we had a good stay at this hotel. It was very close to the tollway, shopping, and restaurants. Our beds were comfortable and everything appeared clean. The only thing I didn't like was an odd smell in my room, I didn't notice it too much once I had been in the room for a while, but noticed it every time I walked in.

IT WAS THE PERFECT SPOT FOR THE SATURDAY MORNING DESTINATION WHICH WAS 2 MILES FROM THE HOTEL. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND THE ACCOMODATIONS WERE GOOD. THE ONLY REQUEST THAT WAS NOT FULFILLED WASA ROOM ON THE STREET LEVEL BECAUSE OF A DIABLED PERSON THAT WAS TRAVELING WITH US. HOVEVER, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE

It was very nice to have breakfast available at my hotel. This hotel offered sausage and eggs as well as the traditional waffles, cereal and juice. I had a big day ahead of me and was glad to see the wide selection. I was impressed by how quickly everything was refilled and how clean the eating area was. It was a great start to my day!

this place was pretty decent for the price. the free breakfast is yer standard free hotel breakfast with do-it yerself waffles, and eggs & sausage. wi-fi is free too. it's right off the highway, and close to an amusement park, huge mall, tons of restaurants, and nature is not far away. the rooms had cable, decent showers, firm beds, and they have a […] pool. my gripes are more with the clientele then the hotel. it was a little loud on my floor, and there were a bunch of youths on my floor running through the halls at night. When we first arrived, we first noticed that the hotel was aged. The lobby area (where breakfast was held) was small and had limited seating. As we settled in, we were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room so our first impression was soon forgotten. We took the kids to the pool (which was very clean as well) and walked to eat. Keeping in mind the hotel is across from a big outlet mall and across the street from an amusement park, it was a good place for a night stay. It was clean, there was a fridge and microwave and breakfast was provided. Great for a short stay.

The comfort Inn was very clean. The food was great the location for shopping was great and the empoyees where very nice to my family

We found this hotel very clean and in an excellent location! It was quiet and the employees very friendly. The price was right, too, for this area. The continental breakfast was very good, too!

This Comfort Inn was very convenient to Gurnee Mills and clean. However the surrounding rooms were full of teenagers yelling and slamming doors all night. And making out in the pool/hot tub area. The outside building noise was quite loud as well. The community was a little trashy but that might just be the way Gurnee, IL is all the time. Great rate! A walk across the parking lot to Gurnee Mills. Close to restaurants. Short car ride (over the bridge) to Six Fkags. The hotel was clean & the manager & desk clerk were friendly. Not the best continental breakfast I've had, but good for free! The pool & breakfast area were small, but the hotel wasn't crowded when we stayed, so it wasn't an […] issue. we just stayed over night but hotel was clean and well kept everyone staff member we ran into was very friendly will be staying here again.

my family and I stayed for our weekend trip to Gurnee Mills. It was a decent room, had all of the basics plus free breakfast which was pretty good. In the mall parking lot! Doesn't get much closer....

We had tickets for Six Flags Great America theme park (1/2 mile away) and wanted a place nearby to stay the night before. This was a real find!! There's a great outlet mall 300 yards away; all kinds of food and bars; nice pool and hot tub in the hotel; nice staff; small but comfortable and clean rooms. I would stay here again any time.

The hotel is right across from the Gurnee Mills mall, so the location is perfect. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. It is our destination hotel at least twice a year!

Hotel management was very polite and helpful. The room was nice and roomy and was close to shopping and restaurants.

Upon ariving in the room we turned on the air conditioner -- only to discover that it was rattling and extremely noisey (I know that are all noisey but this one was bad). My went to the restroom and promptly reported a dead spider in the bathtub. I then looked up at the wall by the window and saw spider webs. Then, my wife saw a strange glob stuck to […] the ceiling of the room, which turned out be a "sticky hand" toy that was likely left there by a child of a previous occupant. We called the front desk and the attendant came up and viewed the room and was agast to see its condition and apologized. We were moved to a different room which we found to be clean. Devamı

Clean pools and lobby. Nice rooms. Outgoing staff. Extra pillows and nice linens. Will stay there again!

we were spending time at gurnee mills and great america so this work very good for us. my grandsons enjoyed the pool, small but thry are young and it was fine for them. friendly staff and very clean, though older.

Room was ready when I checked in, and was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located to Six Flags and Gurnee Mills.
