The accomodations are very adequate for long term stays. There are not alot of frills, but the "apartments" are very roomy. It was great to have the kitchen, and separate rooms. Will definetly stay again when we have work in that area.

I discovered the room had the 'appearance' of being clean but WASN'T clean. The towels appeared clean, new soap, trash cans were empty but there was an ice cream box in the freezer, small potato chip remnants on the rug, then I noticed the kitchen was slightly dirtied with a stain on the oven, salt/pepper particles on the counter, sort of 'grainy' substance […] in the rim of the sink, the bathroom appeared clean but at closer inspection there were some hair strands on the sink in the corner. We inspected the bed sheets and they appeared to have been changed and clean. Because one of our party was already taking a nap and had trouble walking, I didn't want to disturb him by moving him, so I went to the store and bought a cleaning spray and paper towels and cleaned the apartment myself. From door knobs, telephones, kitchen, bathroom, etc. The next morning I told the counter staff about it and they were apologetic about it and said that they will tell the manager. The room did appear to be cleaner when I got back that evening but there was no follow up by the management. Anyhow, overall in every way, other then the room cleanliness it is a good hotel. Not in the middle of town but on the bus route, large rooms with friendly staff. I would recommend it, but I do want to say that anyone staying there really should check the room for cleanliness from now on. Courteous staff, immaculate rooms. We felt pampered and truly relaxed. We are definitely recommending the Wedgewood to our Alaskan friends.

Terrific room (apartment really): Spacious, very clean, car plug-ins (temp was minus 50), great service, very reasonable rates, everything we needed plus more! Plan to stay there again!

VERY NICE and Spacious

I experienced the worst customer service at check-in at the Wedgewood Extended Stay Hotel. It was so bad that I cancelled my reservation and found a different hotel to stay at for the evening. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.

This complex was built for the employees who worked on the pipeline in the 70s. We stayed at Bear Lodge. Large rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. The property has a nature preserve and adjacent wildlife refuge where thousands of sandhill cranes arrive. It is worth just staying there if you're a nature lover. We have stayed at the Wedgewood in Fairbanks often, particularly when we are there for more than a few days because of the kitchenette rooms. There is an antique car museum, walking paths and adjacent migratory bird observatory. Spring and fall are teaming with Sandhill cranes. All in all, the place is clean, beds comfortable, people are friendly, close […] to most major places, and pretty quiet. We have recommended the hotel to many people who share our enthusiasm after their stays also. When we go to Fairbanks, we stay at the Wedgewood. Period. Devamı

Wonderful setting. Beautiful location for nature walks, bird watching, very environmentally oriented. Staying there again. Such friendly staff and delicious good. Comfy beds!

We were very happy Wedgewood, the staff were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well taken care of. Housekeeping staff were also very helpful, as well as the resturant staff. We would highly recommend the hotel.
