Mondial Hotel - Düseldorf

Just a 5 minute walk from the Hauptbahnof, the hotel is clean, comfortable and in a good location. Nothing fancy or luxurious but cozy with a very nice staff. I'd definitely go back.

Decent hotel, very convenient location; only 5 minute walk from the central station (you can get trains from airport to central station for about 2.50 euro). Grocery store nearby (ask the desk) and lots of restaurants next to hotel.

Very close to train station - five minutes so great to avoid the noise of the trains, and the weird that hang around European train stations. Close to department store, does what it says on the tin.

It was OK overall. If you are very sensitive to noise, then not recommendable. The hotel is located in front of a busy road.

I have stayed here a couple of times while visiting Dusseldorf. For a budget hotel it ticks all the boxes. Although it is basic and housed in an older building, it is comfortable, conveniently located to the HBF and clean. It has one notable exception to many budget offerings....the staff are excellent. I never thought that in 2011 you have to check if a hotel has an air condisioner so comes summer the best they can do is a fan remindes me of the Hotels in the 1930's

Superb value. Nothing grand but served its purpose, very good breakfast for the price.

The hotel was satisfactory for me traveling alone. The room was very small and basic and the furnishings were somewhat worn and out of date. Otherwise it was very clean and the service was good. The wireless internet was free, but there is a charge to watch television. The street traffic was a bit noisy. I arrived around 11pm - I was surprised to see hotel was closed & there were no staff. I used a pay-phone to call the number on the door, but this pay-phone never worked. I was a tourist & had no cell phone. I waited for 20 mins & the man came with a super-market trolly of sundries. He checked me in & I slept. Room's lights didn't go - there were lamps […] that had to be on at the wall & at the lamp. I just used the TV as a light until I worked this out. Very good for the price, clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Too far from the nearest tram stop but if you are fit you can walk from or to the main Station.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plenty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will chose this hotel again. I do want to mention that there was a charge for TV viewing (any channel) so bring a laptop and you won't need their TV.

Na aankomst goed begeleid met goede ontvangst. Advies waar auto kon worden gestald. Bezoek aan Kerstmarkt en andere bezienswaardigheden duidelijk en goed toegelicht en uitgelegd. Vriendelijk hulp vaardig en prettig. Algemeen beeld goed.

Nice and cheap hotel with a good location near railway station. Stayed there for 3 nights. Nice staff.

Very poor hotell. Arived at night and reception was closed. Had to pay extra for another hotell. Very unpleasant personel not att all serviceminded.

Var meget godt fornøyd med hotellet, var veldig stille og rolig strøk, og ikke noe som helst bråk på natta! Frokosten var enkel, men særdeles velsmakende. Eneste savnet med dette hotellet er aircondition, ellers var alt veldig bra. Avstand til Konigsalle var lett gåavstand, samme til undergrunnsbane og trikk. Slecht onderhoud, veel lampen kapot, baddoeken met vlekken, ongeinterresseerd personeel.Veel daklozen en zwervers in de buurt die op straat alcohol drinken en 's-nachts voor het nodige lawaai zorgen.

We stayed six nights in Hotel Mondial Düsseldorf end of May and enjoyed very well. Hotel is worth of money. Location is great, only few minutes walking from main railway station. Our room was quite small, but there was still enough space for two people. Bathroom/toilet was nice and clean. Free wireless internet was fast and reliable. Wir suchten für einen Kurztrip ein Hotel in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes. Die Lage war deshalb ausgezeichnet, der Preis recht günstig, Frühstück war super. Dass die Zimmer recht klein waren, war uns zuvor bekannt und spielte überhaupt keine Rolle. Würde es für einen Trip dieser Art weiter empfehlen!

The hotel had a very good position in the City regarding other places of interest. Perhaps not the most fashonable sceen, but the price of the hotel weas very good! ok breakfast, but the Cofee has to get better!! Service was very good, and allways helpfull. I will recomend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a well priced hotel!

Friendly staff, free wifi, only 10 minute walk from central station. Only minus was the bed which I found quite hard.

Gutes Hotel für den kleinen Geldbeutel, in der Nähe des HBFs. Gerne wieder.

We stayed four nights in winter time and mostly liked the hotel: + central location, excellent breakfast, clean room, WLAN (free) - broken lamp, traffic noise, weird noise from toilet

Wenn man das Hotel nur zum schlafen braucht ist es OK.. Die Zimmer sind aber schon sehr,sehr klein. Ebenfalls die Betten. Es gab auch Probleme mit der Dusche. Es war fast unmöglich die richtige Temperatur einzustellen . Pro ist der Preis und die recht gute Lage.

旅程の都合でデュッセルドルフに泊まりました。 夜着いて翌朝早くの出発で寝るだけでしたので、中央駅から徒歩８分くらいで低料金でしたので選びました。

Alles in Ordnung, Preisleistung stimmt.

gute Lage, ruhig, günstig. Erwartungen wurden erfüllt, kann ich empfehlen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Centralt beliggende hotel, hvor prisniveauet er yderst fornuftigt om end det ikke er et nyt og moderne hotel. Sammenholdes pris og oplevelse er det absolut godkendt.

Ett enkelt men välskött hotell i centrum. Enkel men fräsch frukost. Klart prisvärt.

L' hotel si trova vicino la stazione di Dusseldorf le camere sono piccole ( le singole ) il mini bar c'è ma le bevande sono calde . La pay tv non è inclusa nel prezzo e si paga 11 euro a collegamento . In quella zona ci sono tanti hotels della stessa categoria , io proverò a trovare qualche hotel più confortevole allo stesso prezzo .

Trevlig personal, bra läge, bra frukost och toalett på rummet. Det enda som var negativt var att det inte fanns luftkonditionering på rummet så det blev outhärdligt varmt. Dock fanns en bordsfläkt att tillgå.

Ett enkelt och billigt boende som ligger centralt. Har ingenting att klaga på, förutom att det inte fans någon AC.

Mondial is een prima basishotel op een centrale plek. De Rijntoren, Medienhaven, rondvaartboten, Altstad... Alles te voet bereikbaar. Maar ook goede OV-mogelijkheden voor de deur en het centraal station op 7 minuten lopen. De ligging aan een drukke straat zorgt voor enige geluidsoverlast. Setje oordoppen is handig. Wat betreft inrichting is alles aanwezig; […] niet luxe, noch nieuw (de bedden zijn niet alles), maar met een lekker ontbijt is het voor een paar dagen prima toeven!
