Le Grand Hotel - Strazburg

Booked a room for three ppl. Very comfortable with a helpful and friendly staff. Short walk from the train station and close the attractions.

Hotel was conveniently located. Same breakfast everyday was boring. Beds were not comfortable at all and the internet did not work efficiently coming in and out of service.

the hotel is right in front of the terminal a few block away from the city historical center. We had a superior room and it was larger then normal superior rooms in other hotels we stayed in this trip. nice staff, free wireless internet (in other hotels was not free or was not wireless).+ the best part is that we got a really good price for this room. […] I highly recommend it. Really good hotel to a reasonable price. I've enjoyed my stay and can totally recommend Le Grand Hotel.

One of several hotels across the street from the train station. Parking is 12 Euros a day down the street a ways. 15 minute walk to old town. Neighborhood is safe but run down like near many train stations. Price was good and room comfortable and quiet. So overall a good value.

Extremely clean, comfortable and well located for walking or Strasbourg's rent-a-bike scheme, Le Grand also offered a varied continental breakfast. Staff very polite and friendly. Only negatives, extra Sales Tax surcharge on departure despite pre-booking receipt stating (TTC) - all charges included. Also wrong information given about local car park […] which again meant extra charges. Devamı

Convenience, customer service and cleanliness! Staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and had a wide variety of items. Only a two minute walk from train station - just across the plaza. I would use this hotel again.

This hotel is a beautiful hotel across from the train station. It is a very short walk to the more interesting parts of Strasbourg. Their breakfast (included) was extensive and well done. Everything about this hotel was top-notch. We'd stayed in hotels for 10 days throughout France and this was the nicest one of them all.

The price was very affordable. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and warm. There wasn't a terrific view, but the proximity to the train station was incredibly convenient. We'd definitely stay again, and would recommend this hotel to others.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the quality and the service given the very reasonable price. The establishment far exceeded other hotel rooms we have stayed at in Europe at comparable prices. The location was also within easy walking distance of city attractions - a must for my pregnant wife.

I slept in this hotel for one night. It's very well located just in front of the train station. I had to catch a train at 5am next morning, so it was excellent for my case. The rooms are not extremely new, but nice and clean. I had a bath too in my bedroom (not just shower), so that was a good side of it. The bed was comfortable and everything was […] clean. The windows could be newer and the door have a traditional old style key, but the area is quiet at night, so there was no noise, and the key can be left at reception, so you don't have to take it around. The area is ok, the hotel is also 5 minutes from the center, and there are a few bars around as well. I will probably stay here again when I come back to Strasbourg. Overall I am very satisfied. I could not experience the breakfast because I had to leave at 4:50am. Devamı

The hotel looks nice but we got a room that had a bad smell in the bathroom. Also, the plumbing was extremely loud coming from all rooms. You could hear also people talking in the next room and the internet conncection was very poor. Breakfast was good.

Very comfy. Pretty and nice beds. Lovely bathrooms. Great staff. Will recommend.

The internet did not work, which was important to us for trip planning. They were not surprised that the WiFi didn't work on our floor, and would have lent us a cable for a 10 euro deposit, but the only one that worked was already lent out (why do they keep half a dozen nonworking cables in a drawer and show them to you?) The lobby, outside, and dining […] room were nice. However the room needs many updates. For a shower, there is a sprayer without the ability to mount it, so you always have to have one hand on the handle (carwash style). This would all not be too too bad, but for the price they charge, I would definitely stay elsewhere. Devamı

Good hotel and the location is next to the railwaystation and near to the old city (5min to walk). The hotel himself is very clean, but the rooms are small. The toiletts and the shouwer is also in the room. Good hotel to stay!

This hotel is comfortable and reasonable for the Hotels.Com price. It is right next to the station and within easy reach of the centre of the old city. Great lift.

we Stayed at le Grand Hotel in July 2009 for two nights, we are very satisfied with the location, breakfast and most importantly, the value compare to it's price. we booked triple room, therefore a single bed was set up with enough room to turn around, bathroom is very roomy too. This little Hotel-Boutique is actually a good option if you're planning on visiting Strasbourg. It's right in front of the train station "La Gare" and there's a good parking lot within 150 m. so it's easy if you're coming driving or by train. Very friendly staff, good breakfast.

I had read the reviews before booking this hotel, and was not disappointed! The value for my dollar was phenomenal. This hotel is modern and updated. The lobby is spacious and welcoming, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I spoke to them in English and imperfect French, and they were patient with both. They were very willing to help you find […] things in town, or go online to look up information for you. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Pastries and a note were in the room as a pleasant welcome. Location was very good- within 5-10 minutes walking of the cathedral with lots of good shopping along the way. Not to mention within 5 minutes walking to the tram. Also directly across from the main train station (eurorail, etc). Very easy to find. Great customer service- the hotel staff seemed eager to please. Would 100% book this hotel again for a stay in Strasbourg. Devamı

Very clean, nice bathrooms, near Train Station which is very convenient if you travel by train. Breakfast was included and it was GREAT!

An excellent hotel for the price. Can't beat the location. Staff was incredible, with delicious, complimentary pastries in my room on arrival. Very good breakfast with fresh croissants. Walking distance to all of the nicest Strasbourg sites!

Outstanding experience! The price was extremely reasonable especially considering the high quality of the room, cleanliness, service and the the complimentary breakfast. Room was quite small, but typical for this style of hotel.

hotel et chambre très propre, petit dej nickel, personnel aussi.un bon 3*** proche du centre. des dizaines de resto entre 1 et 20 mn à pied. seul pb: le parking à 5 mn à pied à 7.4€ la journée... mais c'est Strasbourg ...

Wer mit der Bahn anreist, hat wirklich nicht weit zum Hotel. Zur Innenstadt sind es auch nur weinige Minuten. Das Frühstück ist für französische Verhältnisse überraschend gut und vielfältig. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

位置很方便, 就在火車站對面. 服務人員態度親切而且英文程度很好, 走路到舊城區不算太遠, 旁邊就有麥當勞可以吃. 附贈的早餐是很簡單的buffet, 還可接受. 房間有點老舊, 我們已經訂了大房間卻只找到一個插座可已充電, 而且房間內的檯燈也壞掉了, 有點讓人訝異.

Hôtel vaste et rénové, mais un peu en version cache misère. Je ne suis pas sûr qu'il vaille son prix sans une réduction au delà de 50%. Un trois étoiles de chaîne hôtelière s'en sort bien mieux. La taille d'une chambre ne fait pas tout. Petit déjeuner totalement hors niveau pour ce type de tarifs.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel très propre, bien que certains papiers peints paraissent quelque peu défraîchis dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner est formidable, gratuit et à volonté, très bien garni. Le personnel est très souriant et sympatique. L'hôtel est relativement calme et très bien situé par rapport au centre ville.

Hôtel très pratique d'accès, face à la gare et à proximité des transport en commun. Proche du centre ville accessible à pieds. Accueil correct, hall d'entrée qui n'est pas du tout à l'image des chambres. Petit déjeuner correct. Dommage que la chambre soit exigue et qu'il y ait des odeurs de moisie dans la salle de bain. C'est un ancien hôtel qui a été rénové : cela ne se voit pas forcément sur les photos mais se constate en vrai. Toutefois, rien de spécial à redire. Petit dej très bien et excellent point de départ pour les marchés de Noël. Pour les gens qui viennent en train, il n'y a que la rue à traverser pour rejoindre la gare (mais pas de nuisance sonore), pour […] ceux en voiture, parking public vinci à 2 mn à pieds pas cher et reduction par le biais de l'hôtel.
