Holiday Inn Express Fairfax - Fairfax

This hotel was in close proximity to George Mason. Carpets were worn but clean. Bathroom was clean. Beds comfy.

Wonderful hot breakfast.

I could not cancel the second night when I tried doing so more than 48 hours. The hotel has strict cancellation policy that any changes cost the equivalent of one night stay.

Pros: - helpful staff (checked in under 2 minutes) - clean rooms - clean hotel - safe area - plenty of restaurants nearby

It offers basic comfort for a budget. I can't say anything negative about it, but nothing superlative as well. The room is decently clean and the surrounding feels safe with quite a choice of eateries and shops. The staff is not rude, but not particularly friendly either. This was our first time staying in this particular Holiday Inn Express, but it won't be our last. Very good service; attentive staff; great location (near a 24-hr pharmacy and supermarket). Exceedingly easy to get to, and convient to multiple restaurants.

Great customer service, staffs are very polite, breakfast is very good and hotel cleanliness is great. Very good at the price. I will recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Fairfax or its surroundings.

The bed was very comfortable and the room contained all that we needed. And even though there were two rowdy crowds that stayed at the hotel during our stay, noise was not a problem. I was pleasantly relieved to not be awakened. The linens were questionable one night with some curious stains on them and I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. After a poor check in experience the hotel made a good recovery. I had requested a non-smoking room however I was told they were all taken by the time I arrived. The room smelled horrible. Within 20 minutes the manager called our room and moved us to two single non-smoking rooms with one being on the house. I would recommend this hotel based on the […] staff. Devamı

The hotel itself was pretty nice, The room had recently been remodeled. There was an issue with the front desk though, I was reserved and paid for three days, but when I came back after meetings on the first day, the room had not been cleaned. stayed for a night before a lax tourney...for what we needed, it was fine. Probably wouldn't want to stay a week there on vacation, but if you're just in and out for a night and need a bed, I don't know how you couldn't be satisfied.

This hotel would have been satisfactory had it not been for the toilet being dirty under the back of the seat. When we came in the second night after being gone all day, the toilet seat was up and I noticed quite a bit of dirt toward the back. This gave me the distinct impression that the room room had barely been gone over when cleaned. It was not […] a good feeling in a hotel where lots of people had stayed before me. Great place to say. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff very helpful

Was in town for a wedding & stayed with the groom the nite before. Manager allowed me to park my car there that night, even though I wasn't a registered guest. The next day I needed to check-in 2 hrs. early because we were on our way to the wedding. Once again, management was very courteous and helpful. We recently stayed here for a family vacation. They were so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was well-stocked and more than filling. The rooms were very clean and comfortable enough. The staff at this location is unbeatable, they really went out of their way to make things easy for us. While there is a bus that takes you to the Metro train station, […] sometimes it can be a hassle that the hotel is so far from the station. Also, there are not any grocery stores or other shopping in the near vicinity, so buying extra supplies was tough. But, it is a very nice, SAFE choice for a D.C. stay with the family.
