I think the hotel is very old and may need to renovate the whole building. the room size was great however too old. does not hold up to the pictures that was advertised. also the breakfast was not good. there was no meat on the bar only the meat in the gravy.. everyone does not eat gravy.. i would not ever go back to the hotel unless it was rebuilt. […] like i said the size of the rooms were the best quality... this hotel was so old and outdated and it appears they were trying to make some updates or improvements however very messy ...... (like new air conditioning units put in but left sawdust and dirt on sides in rooms which maintanance or workers should have cleaned up).... hotel itself was clean and comfortable and pool was great plus plenty of room in […] suites for families ......just very outdated...... i guess it was ok for just sleeping if you are out all day and the breakfast was a great start with many options...... so it fit our needs but really needs to put some money into renovations..... friendly and very helpful staff too..... Had a 1 year old and in our room there werent covers on some of the outletd. Also there were popcorn kernals on the floor and we didnt have popcorn. Also a fiberone rapper was on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The sofa bed matress was si old we could feel the bars underneath. We didnt get any sleep. Horrible room. Abandoned our stay at this hotel. The smoke smell permeates the place when you walk in to the lobby. It is covered over by a horrible perfume. After getting switched out of the first room into a second room we found bedbugs! I will never go back nor recommend this hotel. The staff was largely disinterested in the bedbug we brought to them in a kleenex. […] He remarked, "With all the foreigners coming through Williamsburg even hotels that you pay a lot of money to stay at have bedbugs." The hotel location was great since it was close to tourist attractions. The price was also good. The rooms were very big, with a lot of highpoints -- sitting room, fridge, mini kitchen, etc. The lowpoint was that the room was very dusty. We all suffered with allergies all night due to the high level of dust. Also, the rooms need some updating. Breakfast […] had a nice selection of hot foods, but only one waffle iron for all guests, so the line was quite long for that. Cheap price and has everything a hotel should have, in fact my wifey and I where shocked to walk in see the room much larger then thew average hotel room.

Hotel was a great price for a suite. had separate living room with a small tv and a bar with sink and fridge. Had a vanity area with another sink and a separate bathroom. When got to hotel Ac was broken and we had to get switched to different room. Got us switched quickly. PROS: Had indoor pool for kids stayed open until 11pm, free hot breakfast every […] morning that was very good, rooms were very large and had 2 double beds and a pull out sofa in seating area which was convenient when vacationing with children to have separate rooms. had 3 sinks in room total which was nice with a lot of people also. And had dressers and a full size closet for storage which i thought was nice. had a gym area with just a treadmill and 1 or 2 more machines.....but i dont work out on vacation anyways! :-) I would definitely stay here again. Cons: older tv's, not flat screens or large screens, AC was older and kinda noisy but it cooled the room well. Devamı

We loved this hotel.

The hotel was nice for a get away for my family. I could tell the room was not used a lot. there was some dust and the frig need to be defosrted. other than that the room was ok. My kids love the room and it was a great stay for the price

The hotel could be nice if they got rid of the bugs, redecorated it, and trained their cleaning staff. There were roaches in the fridge, in the bathroom, there was some kind of bug in one bed, and a pubic hair in the other. I did not actually stay the night as we left at midnight, as I could not face sleeping there.

The sheet they gave us for the pullout didn't fit. When I asked for larger ones, the manager argued with me and said that they fit and have always fit and that is always the size they use. They didn't fit and I wasn't going to risk my kids being exposed to a bare mattress. I didn't appreciate the attitude when they just could have handed me a set of […] bigger sheets. Devamı

When I made my reservations I informed the hotel of my dogs. No one put the note on my account. After getting there we were put on a no pet floor I was willing to move then. No that did not happen untill after a full day of fun I was asked to move at 1030 PM when we got back. There were a number of safty issues with that room that I reported to the […] front desk. The second room was more comfortable and pet friendly. The positive side was that the front desk was very helpful and curtouse through out the situation. The suite was a nice size and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The room was FILTHY! The complimentary breakfast was TERRIBLE! The room card key didn't work; had to go to the front desk several times to get it rescanned. I would not stay at this hotel again. Nor, would I recommend it to any one.

There were many problems, some with the hotel and some with Hotels.com.... HERE IS THE LIST about the hotel 1. The "HOT" water was only luke warm on both mornings of our stay. 2. The maid did not make up our room but did leave clean towels outside the door. Who knows why? 3. Great location, but terrible hotel. Half the lamps in the room did not work. Very old furnishings. They actually had an 80's style boom box and old fashioned T.V.s. We had a suite with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa bed, yet they only allowed 2 mini pillows per bed. The staff was not professional or customer friendly. When I requested additional blankets, I was told to come pick them up from the lobby. When I got to the lobby, I suggested the hotel must be short staffed and the lobby addendant said to "just go to sleep."

i will not be staying in that hotel ever again

Although a bit old/shabby, our actual room was clean and comfortable. However, we arrived on a Wednesday evening, and someone had urinated in the elevator, and the smell was awful--permeated both elevator cars--and nothing was done about it until Saturday morning. The free hot breakfast was very good, but the cleanliness of the food area was poor (and […] not improved over the three mornings we ate there). And thankfully we scoped out the pool before taking the kids down because the water was cloudy and there were some green spots on the steps, yet the pool wasn't closed. Hotel not as pleasing as pictures represent. Hallway rugs are dirty. Pullout sofa bed extremely uncomfortable. Blankets were not cleaned - had hair on blankets. In room refrigerator did not work. We needed to store insulin in a working refrigerator. Took 2 phone calls plus a visit to the front desk to have it replaced. Dirty stained carpets,Tiles, Hole in the wall, realy bad mold like odor had realy hard time to breath... any overall need to remodel and be kept clean.

Not horrible for the price. The free breakfast was abysmal, though. This hotel could use some maintenance, but the room was spacious, a/c worked well and the bed was comfortable. The staff was all very nice.

We booked last minute through hotel.com for a weekend trip for 2 adults and 4 boys. We needed a suite to accomodate all of us. The hotel was comfortable for our needs, the boys enjoyed the pool, the breakfast buffet was adequate for our needs, and replenished frequently. The hotel staff were always pleasant and accomodating. Places to eat close by, […] and near all Williamsburg attractions. Room was very clean and comfortable. TV in room did not work, as well as the telephone, but not an issue for us. The suite was very clean,A.C. was very cool, the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice and lots of choices. Overall very good. I reported that both phones did NOT work i the room and they said it would be taken care of. The freezer in the mini-fridge was frozen ALL up & also reported. I was satisfied.

VERY CLOSE TO SITES AND ATTRACTIONS, BUT NOT THE CLEANEST IVE EVER STAYED AT. WE HAD TO CHANGE ROOMS. THE 1ST FLOOR IS FOR PETS WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT BY ONLINE RESERVATIONS. WE HAD ANTS IN OUR ROOM AND REQUESTED ANOTHER ROOM.

I enjoy all of the features in our suite. Would probably stay at one of your hotels in the future. My only complaint would be the air conditioned in my room was a little to loud.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. It is located in a spot that puts you close to everything in Williamaburg that is fun as well as educational. Whenever I go to Williamsburg again this hotel will definitely be on my list.

Worst stay ever. Human feces in front of elevator,dogs defecating in hallways,no air in hallways,rooms not ready,staff unfriendly,beds and sofa beds in desperate need of replacing.

I should have listened to other reviews before wasting my money here. First off when we got to our room the toliet still had pee on the lid the countertop still had stuff on it and hair..I went to near by target and bought Lysol wipes to clean the room. The beds were the only clean thing. I figured since we prepaid we should just stay no point n switching […] rooms either they were all probably dirty. After cleaning the counters down the wipes were brown....ekkk We checked out a night early and just drove home. Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is in need of some updating and painting. Room doors look terrible; paint is peeling and kickplate was peeling off door. Free breakfast is great, but get there early because they don't put anything else out after 9:45 am.

This hotel is really old and extremely dirty!!! There was mold in our bathroom, wall paper pealing everywhere and the bathtub had soap scum and a black ring surrounding the inner perimeter of the tub...I'm not even joking. I would AVOID the place and NOT recommend to anyone staying there!!!!

the hotel was about average. nothing special, but not bad at all... A/C in the room was great, but in the hall and elevator - it wasn't very good at all... The hotel is starting to show it's age, but I would stay there again and I would recommend it for those people that want a clean bed and a clean bath and aren't looking for any extras...

Good family hotel. We stayed 4 nights with 4 teens and 2 adults in the room and there was pleanty of space for us all. Beds are clean and comfortable. Sofa bed was OK. Breakfast has a small selection, but food was good. The hallway and elevator was hot. Pool was cold.

We selected this hotel because we wanted a suite with some extra space. The size of the room was the only positive this place has. From the time you step into the hotel there isn't much that appears very clean or updated. Our first room had a door that was chipped out around the lock and the metal frame was bent. Once inside the wall was busted where […] the door knob had banged into it. Several other doors on the same hall had the same sort of damage on the outside. We moved to another room in hopes it might be better. The door was better however, there was an EXPOSED OUTLET in the living room area near a sink. Makes you wonder about other safety standards that are being overlooked. We planned to stay 3 nights at this hotel. We left after one and would have gone sooner, but they would not refund our money for the first night once we had checked in. I could go on about the dirty and broken pack and play we received and the hot breakfast that had so many flies around that you didn't want to touch any of it. the hotel met my needs, only stayed 2 nights. The hallway and elevator was hot. The kids slept on let-out-sofa and said it was not comfy at all. but over all it was o.k.

The hotel is showing its age and it has a terrible musty odor in the common areas. In our room, the phone and hair dryer were broken and the refrigerator was barely cold. During our two night stay, housekeeping never came to the room, not to bring new towels or even to empty the trash. Sheets in the dresser for the sofa-bed had been used and stuffed […] back in the dresser. Coffee maker still had the last person's coffee grinds in it. The family and I went on a couple day vacation visiting Virginia Beach and Busch Gardens. The hotel is about an hour from Virginia Beach and less than a 15 minute drive to Busch Gardens. The only […] complaint is that you had to hold the handle on the toilet for it to flush. The pleasant surprise was that the breakfast was quite decent. They actually had a breakfast meat, specifically sausage. After everyone had their fill at breakfast, the drive over to Busch Garden was quick and easy (just stay on Route 60 and follow the many signs for Busch Gardens). It was the worst hotel experience we ever had. The fan did not work in the bathroom. We told the front desk and they said someone will be up to fix it. That didn't happen. The housekeeper took our food out of the fridge and threw it away, or ate it. She said she thought we were not coming back; but she left our water, beer, and wine in the fridge. Go […] figure. The hotel was priced reasonably but lacked some of the details. Plaster and paint peeling on walls and ceilings for example. Breakfast buffet could be better but tolerable. Pool was nice but needed to have more towel available. The only other thing I can think of was it took us several tries with our GPS to find it.
