Room was very small - the bed took up most of the room. Walls are very thin - could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms, but fortunately everything was quiet by 10 pm. Ibis Sydney airport charges you 24 dolars for 1 day internet connection, nothing is included: parking, breakfast, shuttle back to airport are extra... I dont recommend this hotel.

We checked in at 1 AM and checked out at 10 AM. For a quick overnight stay it was fine.

The main office was extremely hard to understand. We called for a wake up call in the morning which never happened. Asked for a non smoking room and it stunk like smoke anyway. Ended up seeing bugs on the ground. Ended up having some sort of either drug activity or prostitution activity at the hotel. Nemerous doors being slammed through the night and […] yelling and screaming. Ended up we didn't need the wake up call due to not being able to sleep anyway. Would have felt just as safe sleeping in our car and should not have wasted the money. Devamı

It was yes perfect for the price close to down town LA and the beach, close to McDonalds, and other many restorants, just convenience when you travel with children. i will defenily go back when I need to stay in a hotel. No complaints at all.

I was not informed that an additional cost for parking was required! The parking was limited and I was not satisfied with the arramgement!

quiet,comfortable,safe gud breakfast affordable!

Stopped here for a night between flights, and this hotel worked perfectly for me. They collected me from the airport (use a free courtesy phone to call them) and dropped me off the next day. They're about 5 or 10 minutes drive away, about the closest hotel possible. The room was clean and well-appointed. The internet was fast and signal strong. Breakfast […] was basic "continental" but adequate for a snack before travelling. The hotel is not too far from the Mariposa Avenue Metro stop, so you can walk there if you need to get into central LA, but it's probably an hour in total to get in, so you wouldn't stay here if you need to go to LA more than once. The rooms are okay but they make you pay 5 bux for parking.

Hotels.com had the wrong information as to whether or not they let you park your car for a fee and fly. They do not allow it. I was told they do. Staff was very poor. Service was little to none. Room door was almost impossble to lock and would be pushed in if not deadbolted. When we left for dinner and returned our room door had been pushed open on […] our return. The Travelodge Los Angeles Airport South, is one of those rare hotels that managed to provide everything I needed. It's staff were helpful at all times, it had free internet access, and provided a free service to print out my boarding pass for my return journey. Close by was a supermarket, and a variety of restaurants. Nice and close to airport. Only thing to be aware of is that their free shuttle service only runs at particular times, if you require it outside of there times you must pay. Think it was $15. Though the hotel has a long history, it is pretty ho-hum but its convenient location near the airport and fantastic staff more than make up for it. Irna and Maria at the registration desk went the extra mile to help us not only check in and out speedily in spite of a crowd of others, but to make our stay in LA special by helping us find a way to get […] to Universal Studios before it closed (three suggestions offered, each better than the last). We were well satisfied with the service and location. It met our needs well. We were only looking for a one night place to stay at a reasonable price, close to the airport with van service to and from the airport, not a luxery hotel with all the ammenities. Excellent service from the front desk, and the free shuttle to nearby lax is a great amenity

The wooden floors and rolling of suitcases kept me up all night, not a place for sleep, but descent otherwise. The staff was courteous and the location is ideal, with a reliable shuttle service.

Whatever your budget, whatever you do, don't stay here.

If you're looking to stop between flights, or planning on visiting LA and being out all day, then this a great value! I recently came to LA to get a lot of things done in the short time I had, so I really just needed a place to sleep in a convenient location. Well this place definitely did the job and then some! I got the room for a very low price […] per night, so I was very skeptical at first. However it actually ended up being the best cheap hotel ive ever stayed at! Here are the Pros and Cons: Pros: -friendly staff -looks recently remodelled -close to freeway -free continental breakfast -large rooms with microwave! Cons: -room smelled funny -stains on some furniture and carpet -had to pay for parking if you didn't want to park on street Overall, the cons are minor for the price, so I would recommend this place and stay here again! Cozy rooms. If you are looking for a lot of space, keep looking, but if you are looking for a desk, a bed, free WiFi, and a flatscreen, this is your place. Extra fee to park, on property, but plenty of free on-street parking around.

My significant other and I enjoyed our stay at the travelodge. Mike and another woman were very hospitable. I also loved the cheap rates of the hotel. the rooms were eay better than my first night at another hotel. I was very suprised and content overall.I defintely am staying there on my next trip to Los.Angeles.

The room was adequate for sleeping accomodations, but bathroom and kitchen were not properly cleaned. The blinds on the kitchen window had not been wiped off in a long time and the walls in the bathroom were dirty. Also the bathtub appeared dirty.

The motel is ok if you're just passing through. The rooms are in pretty good shape. However, it's kind of noisy. The ac unit in my room didn't work that well. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating- in January. Also, the free breakfast is pretty bad, but hey, it's free. Kind of annoying that they charge for parking in their lot. This motel is the next street from the airport. Only being in the terminal would be more convenient. My room wasn't much bigger than a queen size bed, writing table, and bathroom. But, after all, it is a bare-bones motel. But--SURPRISE! SURPRISE! (at least for me)--it had an iron and FULL-SIZE ironing board. I haven't run into this even in more costly […] motels. And it had a complimentary breakfast--cold cereal, juices, waffles. bagels, regular bread, and a toaster. I think this is fantastic. Granted, the quality of the breakfast wasn't superb, but it's a filling meal. And there are other restaurants and an IHOP within a couple of blocks for times other than breakfast, and/or if you prefer a heartier breakfast. Our stay at this hotel was only overnight due to an early flight out the next morning. As many prior reviews stated, the bed was very comfortable. Yes the towels quantity was skimpy (sm bath and hand towel) and some were stained. Since the wondows are not doubled paned there is airplane noise so bring earplugs! It worked fine for what we needed.

I have used this motel for 30+ years, watching it evolve from a small town motel to a reasonably cosmopolitan hotel serving LAX travelers and service people. The original small town friendliness has been replaced by aloof correctness. No longer is there an opportunity to socialize with the staff. I miss that. The motel is desperately short of parking. […] Management recently decided to exploit that shortage by imposing a $5/night parking charge. I was taken by surprise as I did not notice this in the Hotel.com description. I felt blindsided. This is a motel I will probably use again in the future for short term use. I was comfortable once settled, but arriving LAX after midnight called hotel to be told their shuttle wasn't running this late. They reimbursed the cab charge. But my 6am wake-up call never came, and worse, the 6.30am shuttle never showed up. When one finally came more than 20mins later, the driver told me he had not been informed of a 6.30 pick-up […] and only came after a last-minute phone call from the front desk. So beware! Devamı

Small rooms, so-so service, but very close to LAX, so if what you want is a place to sleep either after coming in on a late flight or before an early one, it will serve.

I was quite pleased with my stay in El Segundo. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The room I stayed in was on the upper floor of the main building. The continental breakfast was pretty good as well. The free wifi worked well, but if I didn't use it for a few minutes it would require me to log in again the […] next time I tried to use it. Worst hotel I ever stay.Receptionist was really unfriendly.There was the shuttle to the airport,the driver make me pay extra because he said we have too many bags,plus extra tips,I told the receptionist about that and he said he had nothing to do with it and the driver refused to take us to the airport because we did not agree to pay him extra.Never […] never come back here again.I paid so much $ for a tiny room, suck service.
