"don't stay here if you're running the Big Sur Mara"
Not good, they had a 1100 AM checkout, bad for marathon runners who need a little time (maybe until 1:00 PM) to take a shower.

Entrance to room: toilet plunger and handicap shower chair + very dirty hotel ashtray at our door. TV kept going off. "up the hill from the wharf"
Nice for the price... But our room's gas fireplace was broken and they didn't seem too concerned... We didn't feel like asking for another room.. Overall nice place...
This place is ok and I give it a C-. It needs repairs. The door did not fit the jam and light came through all around the doorframe. The bathroom had been redone and was pretty nice excpet for the toillet - the seat was loose and the back of the toiltet tank had a mismatched lid that made it look pretty tacky. The stairs upstairs are pretty scarey - […] not all the same level and it were a bit hard to naviagte. The location is good and not too noisy. "An unexpected gem"
Great location, across from Del Monte Center with restaurants, Whole Foods market, and shopping. Close to Hwy 1 for easy access to Carmel and other Peninsula areas, as well as downtown Monterey attractions and Pacific Grove. Bathroom was upgraded with marble and granite, and had excellent shower. We'll book there again!

"Hotel Row in Monterey CA."
Keep in mind this is a Days Inn not a full service hotel in NYC. It was actually better than I expected for the motel type price. Place was clean, rooms comfortable and the staff was attentive and always smiling. This hotel is on a main street in Monterey across from the Del Monte Mall so it was a bit loud at night for a time. But Monterey is still […] a bedroom community of sorts and Munras Ave. quieted down after 9pm. The location is about six blocks from downtown where restaurants, shops, etc., are located. What a dump. 4 star rates for a 1 star hotel.
"June 6 overniter"
Most disappointing plumbing. Toilet hard to flush, low boy seat almost sitting in water. Recommend replacing cheap toilet seats.and toilet adjustments
"Running toilet and no cleaning"
This MOTEL not Hotel is the worst. To start, don't trip on the uneven stairs going to the second floor where our room was. the fire place is the heating for the room and will not work if the room is warm. It has all paper cups/glasses and the ice machine (only ONE) is next to the office on the main floor where the included breakfast is at in the standing […] room only lobby. We stayed two nights and the toilet water was running all night the first night. The night desk lady said that no one could do anything tell the next day. I ended up turning off the water to the toilet. The workman fixed the toilet the next day but the maid only came in and took the duty towels and did not clean or removed the breakfast left overs and dirty try witch you have to bring back to your room to eat. Very low quality hotel at premium price. Not sure how they justify the price. Bed sheets ripped, very dated decor and tiny rooms.

I was very pleased with the service. They let me check in early. The other people staying at the hotel were also very pleasant.

We had a great anniversary stay at this hotel. The onlycomplaints are the toilet always seemed to be plugged up inour room no matter what was done. The stairs to the second floor were scary and Ithougt I may break my neck falling down them. The steps were all different spaces apart making it dangerous to walk up and down them. Over all the staff was […] wonderful and the room was comfortable. I will choose this hotel again as long as the stairs are completely redone and brought to code. The heater did not work in our first room and they were happy to change us to another room. There was Still is?) a loose pipe in the wall or floor that would sometimes wake us up. If that was fixed, the hotel is basic but nice and the price is about right.
"Days Inn Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey CA"
Came in for a family (of 4) run of the Monterey Half-Marathon and needed a relatively close hotel to the start and finish at a very reasonable price. The Days Inn fit the bill. The beds were comfortable and the area quiet allowing for a good nights rest before the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
There are plenty of nicer hotels to stay, but this location was not horrible at all. The bathroom was very clean and looks like it was just redone. The room had a microwave, coffee pot (complimentary coffee), and a mini-fridge. Not many places around here have the little things that make your stay pleasant for a decent place. "Dive Motel"
I will never stay at a Days Inn without checking the rooms first. This place says Fishermans Wharf Days Inn. It is 12 blocks away from anything. The room problem was nails coming up from the transition strip between the carpet and tile in bathroom, the nails nearly cut my foot and did rip a hole in a pair of socks. The tile floor in bathroom is not […] floor tile and it is too slippery. The room next to us sounded like a couple of hookers were working all night. I called the office to complain at 3am and nothing was done. I personally asked the couple to quiet down and take their party inside instead of doing it on the balcony with the music blaring. I am sure they had a great time and will go there often but I can't remember a worse stay anywhere. We needed a ironing board and had to run down the stairs and get it ourself. Housekeeping would not bring us new towels. Just a terrible place and a otherwise nice weekend in Monterey was ruined by a lousy Motel. Devamı
"Good find for this area. Conveniently located."
A good find in this area. Everything was clean and good size for 3 people (2 queen beds). Did not hear noise from the major street and we stayed in a middle unit between the street and the back of the complex.
"Days Inn Monterey located on Munras St."
The room was in need of re-conditioning. The front desk staff was not efficient. The owner of the Motel was guite pleasant, but not willing to address any issues, such as a the TV channel changer was not working; nor explaining how the bathroom window would function. I would seek another accomodaton the next time in Monterey, CA.
"Rundown hotel nowhere near Fisherman's Wharf!"
The manager was surly and of no help whatsoever! There was a loose pipe banging on the outside wall all night long and he couldn't care less. We got no sleep the first night (other guests on that wing complained about the noise, too). I really had to badger him to move us to another room. He finally gave us a room on the second floor but they had no […] elevator and they offered no help in moving our stuff. Also, this hotel is nowhere near Fisherman's Wharf! "Days Inn Hotel"
The room was very small with furniture jammed into it wall-to-wall. I had to lift and carry my suitcase to get it over to the closet. It is also EXTREMELY overpriced for the neighborhood and the current economy. I learned after-the-fact that I could have stayed at the Intercontinental Clement Monterey Hotel for about $5 more per night!.

Nice and clean hotel for the money, nice and friendly staff, great location - convienent to all areas of Monterey.
"You get what you pay for....."
Not the worst, not the best. One of the few places that accepted a reservation for 5...only provided towels for 3. Location was ok. Had plumbing problems....no water on the second day of stay.
"Low Budget"
Location was not the greatest. The room had a fireplace which added a nice charm to the room even though we didn't attempt to use it. The toilet was extremely loud when it filtered. The electrical outlet by the bathroom vanity was practically falling out of the wall so when I used it for my hairdryer and curling iron, I could only plug one thing in […] at a time and the plug kept falling out. The continental breakfast was very disappointing. 2 choices of cereal, english muffins with only 1 choice of jelly, old tasting costco muffins, orange juice and coffee only. Had to go out to eat afterwards. We only stayed 1 night so the room served its purpose, to sleep, but will not be staying there again. Devamı

"WILL NOT STAY AGAIN"
VERY SMALL, NO WASH CLOTHS, T.V WAS BROKE HAD TO HIT THE SIDE TO GET SOMEWHAT OF A PICTURE WALLS WERE EXTREMELY THIN COULD HEAR THE NEIHBORS ACTUALLY OPEN AND CLOSE THEIR DRAWERS WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

ikke langt fra havnen og byen. morgenmad skulle hentes op på værelset. receptionisten var meget lidt informativ. ligger ved siden af stort center med butikker og spisesteder.
