When we arrived to our location it was sunset and absolutely beautiful. The sky was vibrant pink and the waves were lapping the shore. It was a great first impression . . .then we went to our room. Our room was decorated nice enough, but we had a few extra things that were undesirable. Bobbie pins on our sink and on our ice tray, a half bottle of Coke […] Zero waiting for us on the table along with a red solo cup partially filled and a fast food cup about empty. The soap on the sink was opened and used. Another surprise when we went into the bathroom was a used, wet pair of false eyelashes stuck to the tub. We pretty much got an oops for all of these things. Although we stayed in a non smoking room there was smoking on the balcony below us and we could not stay out on ours to enjoy the beauty as the smoke waifted straight up. We very much enjoyed the beach and the pool along with the cayaking (free with room rental). That part of the stay was outstanding. It would seem that it is the natural beauty is the draw for this hotel and the management does not seem to have an interest in keeping the hotel updated and cleaned up. When we checked out, there was a daily fee added even though we had purchased through Hotel.com and had an invoice stating that we were paid in full. They said it was for the use of the towels and the coffee in the lobby . . .Really??? Lastly, as we were checking out someone called to see if they could check in and it was for our room and they said yes, it would be ready in 10 - 15 minutes. We stayed for a week and it was only going to take them 10 minutes to clean and sanitize our room, make our bed, do the dishes and put up the towels? They were generous enough to let us have a one hour late check out, but that was only after being reminded of the shape of the room upon our arrival. Next time we will be looking elsewhere to stay. Loved this hotel. Beautiful spot on the beach and so quiet

Doubtful I would recommend or stay at this hotel in the future. The first room we were given, a non-smoking room, had a very strong oder of smoke or something close. Then the next room had a sliding door to the belcony that was off the hinges, however, it was fixed fairly quickly once reported to the front desk. An older resort sitting on the beach. Needs some minor maintanance (bathroom door didn't close all the way) and the kitchen was well equipped but could have been stocked with paper towels and coffee filters. The beach was right out the door, the pool great, kayaks and volleyball courts available. Looking forward to next visit.

The location of the hotel and the view from the balcony were great! The hotel was right on the beach and there were cabanas and chairs to rent. the housekeepers were very nice. Not so good items; the free wi-fi did not work after the first night, only one ice machine working in the whole hotel, vending machines were all out of bottled water and there […] was mold in the shower. Nice Balcony with Ocean View---Beautiful sunsets and right on the beach! Room was clean and the complimentary Paddle Boards were nice. Also, nice volleyball court. The ONLY thing lacking was a hot tub on site. Service was excellent, pool was clean, and the hotel was perfect! Can't wait to come back with our kids next time

The room was very clean I like that I could walk on to the beach. Every one was ready to answer you question and friendly doing so. I well stay there again.

I stayed here years ago with my son and we had a great time Most of the rooms are beach front with private balconies. The beach is vast with lots of room for everyone, it's also a very quiet and calm beach, great for a getaway. We saw beautiful sunsets and the pool and all surrounding outside areas were clean.The staff very friendly and helpful. We […] chose the state room with two double beds and the kitchenette which was clean and well equiped. The beds were somewhat small, we are used to a queen size bed, otherwise we had a great room!! tiki bar drinks were a bargain, but the food was microwaved, not cooked to order. had to have my linens changed as they appeared to have been "not changed" from the last guest. i felt safe as the hotel had security personel on site.

This has to be one of the best trips we have had, the hotel was right on the beach, great bar by the pool, staff was very friendly close to everything! Lots of great resturants around...We cant wait to go back!

Location was great , room was old and had some roaches .

The team here is overli accomodating and take customer service to a whole new level. Very, very impressive.

This is an older hotel and not a resort, it does not have any real ameneties: volletball ney, pool, and BBQ grills. On the very plus side, it is the closest to the beach of almost anu hotel. The "Tiki Bar" is very tiny and microwave food only. The rooms are old, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms overlook the beach with a balcony. I would stay […] there in the future if no other place was available, but the price is way too high for the place, the check in office looks like a closet...should tell you. Devamı

Overall stay was very good. Excellent location and view. Could use a little paint touch up around room entrance. Older hotel but great view and good amenities.

One of the best places to spend your vacation time will recommend for all my friends, very friendly costumer service. Reasonable prices close to the beach (or I should say it is right on beach). Next time will go with my kids, and for longer time. I think it is not 5 star hotel, it is 6 star hotel. (Becouse costumer service !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Great beach front room for the price, great sunset view room. good location for outings and food. i will prob stay there the next time i stay on the beach.

Great for Beach lovers.

Having done some research and the location, it was perfect place to get away from the busy clear water traffic, and the busy hot spots. I was able to park my car on the site, and check in went smooth. The room was on the 5th floor so I had the view and the beautiful scenery. The amenities were all there as if you lived in the apartment. My girlfriend […] and I got some groceries and opted to cook, but rather not find a restaurant. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Devamı

If you are looking for a quiet vacation, this is the place to go. If you want a little night life, this isn't the place to go. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but, not any right on the property. We stayed 2 nights at the Bilmar up the street. It has a lot more to offer. Restaurants and bars right on the property. Tiki Bar is just […] ok. However, the Beach is right outside the front door and it is beautiful. And the private balcony was a plus. Devamı

We stayed at the Island Inn for a quick birthday getaway for my wifes yearly tradition. I was satisfied with location, gulf view and price. I wasnt satisfied with the hotel desk. The older gentleman was a bit rude. There was a another employee that was very friendly when we checked in on 4/15/11, She was very helpful and courteous. The older guy could […] really use some help with his customer service skills. The maid service was excellent and always smiling. The groundskeepers were great and very helpful. Overall, the experience was nice, but, the guy at the desk really ticked me off and also a few other guests that stayed there for my wifes birthday. We booked several roooms which gave Island Inn a lot of business, and probably wont be back next year for her birthday. Devamı

I do NOT recommend this hotel. Although the location is great and it is right on the beach, the service is extremely poor. We stayed there from a sunday to friday and our room was only serviced ONCE. I had to go down to the front desk to advise them that our room hasn't been serviced so they would send someone to our room (we left our room every morning […] by 9am and didn't return until late afternoon so there was plenty of time). On our third day there, I had to find an empolyee in the hallway and ask her for towels. Then on our fifth day there, we ran out of toilet paper so I had to again find an employee in the hallway. There was no toilet paper in the service room so he had to go look for some, returning later with 2 rolls. Since the floors in the rooms are tile, we are on the beach and the room wasn't serviced, the floors were very slippery from the sand. It became dangerous to walk on. During check-out, I advised the front desk of all this but just received a nod and given my check-out paperwork...that was it. This was extremely disappointing. Devamı

The hotel is right on the water and had an amazing sunset view. The hotel is older and not in the best condition. The room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. Would not visit again.

Nice heated pool, beach area was not over crowded, nice view.. We had a really nice time staying here.. Parking was a bit of a pain, but worth it in the end.

I am not sure if it was due to the hectic Memorial Day weekend; and/or my husband and I young appearance but I felt that the staff was very rude! NOTE: Due to our experience if you plan to attend during a holiday be sure to call or have everyone come in one car. The hotel only gives you ONE parking pass per room, even if have a double bed. We witnessed […] the tow company sent out several times as people were just attempting to check in! CRAZY! Apparently the hotel usually issues two passes per room during slow time....As my husband and I were attempting to relax at a local tiki bar , the other couple called us stating that a security officer knocked at our door demanding we move our boat , mind you it was 12 am! So immediatly put down our drinks and walked back to find that apparently another guest was having a fit because he stated we took his spot in the boat slit! Really! Wow we were told that was first come first serve. Then the security officer stated that our boat was not registered at the front desk, hmmm we told them we had one, they told us were to drop boat and were to park trailer...and if that was the case how in the HECK did they know what room we were in???? Ok i'm done venting. Overall, it is my opinion that perhaps the staff should be re-orientated in hospitality! I felt so stressed there!I will NEVER stay there or refer guest to them!!!! Devamı
