"Poor service"
This is a nice hotel that needs personnel changes or better staff supervision. The breakfast tasted tinny and the food was poor quality. The maid in our room removed the soap and shampoo we had in the shower and then did not give us any replacement items. I would not return.

overall appearance of inn was dirty. Carpets were very dirty and in need of replacing. We are avid runners and wanted to use the treadmill but it was so out of adjustment you could barely walk on it. Breakfast was free but not great. I've seen much better.

"Great Place to Stay"
Wonderful hotel. Great for stays with kids. Nice pool. Free Breakfast AND DINNER!!!!! Monday thru Thursday they provide Dinner also. The 4 nights we were there we had Spaghetti, Deli Sandwiches, Fettucini and Chicken and Hamburgers. Not to mention cereal out all day for the kids. Great place for a family stay while in town. "Love this hotel"
I have stayed at this hotel in the past, and I would stay there again. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also love the location. It is right next door to one of the flagship Meijer stores. There is also plenty of other shopping, entertainment, and places to eat. A great place to stay.
Great weekend escape with my wife. Friendly staff and clean hotel. We will go back again.

Only 1 ice Machine on 1st floor (3 story hotel). The staircase in the lobby only goes to floor 2 (who planned that) Breakfast eggs, ham, hashbrowns were cold. Fresh cut fruit was old and slimy. "Country Inn and Suites by the Airport"
The hotel was right on the highway, which made it easy for us to jump on and go anywhere we needed to go. Restaurants around it were plentiful, and it was right next to Meijer, which was also convenient. The kids loved the pool, and the cookies and popcorn that were out every afternoon and into the night. I appreciated the noon check-out time. "Country Inn & Suites GR Airport"
Would be rating this hotel average, but our toilet didn't work in the morning - nor did the one in the lobby. Had to strongly urge staff to open another room in order for us to use the loo. Half of our stay was waiting for promised repair person (who did come after an hour) only to have him unable to fix our toilet (or the one in the lobby) because […] he didn't have the right tools. "Excellent"
Friendly service, clean enviornment. Couldn't find anything to complain about if I tried.
Although the hotel is on the small side with regard to rooms and in general, the breakfast buffet is probably what gets the attention in the hotel. There is just enough offered where you feel that you have gotten your money's worth staying at the hotel. I would suggest offering more incentives when the opportunity presents itself. "airport hotel"
Fantastic stay during a snowstorm. They even brushed off the snow!!! Employees asked if we needed any help and they waited for our answer rather than walk off. Definitely will stay again when I need to be by the airport.
"A Grand Time in Grand Rapids"
Staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Far better breakfast selection than other hotels (cold and hot foods in quanitity). I was told that there was an evening meal as well but we did not take advantage of that offering. Great place at a great price. The pool is quite large for the size of the facility.

"Convenient Neighborhood But Hard to Find"
Even with a GPS unit we couldn't find this hotel. The signage on 28th Street seems to be hidden, and the hotel itself is located a ways back from this main roadway and beyond a big Meijers complex. Enter the Meijers parking lot and you should see the Country Inn and Suites. Exterior is looking a bit shabby, but the inside and rooms were fine. Great […] breakfast, as usual, and, much to our surprise, several complimentary suppers! Staff was great, too. Our only complaint was our second-floor room. We must have had family of giants staying directly above us, because they didn't continually pace around the room---they stomped with every step, and seemed to drop a bowling ball on the floor several times an hour. "Country Inn & Suites In Grand Rapids, MI"
This is the 3rd year I have stayed at this hotel, and I plan to stay there every time I come to Grand Rapids to see my family. My granddaughter loves to go swimming in the pool. Everyone at the hotel is so nice. The breakfasts are wonderful. I would definitely recommend the hotel. The room is great and very comfortable. "Grand Rapids"
The hotel is great. However, the real hit at this location is the staff!! They go out of thier way to make 100% certain you are happy. They called my wife and I by name within an hour of our arrival. The room was clean and well appointed. The pool area was in exceptional shape and the breakfast/dinner/snack area was super. This is the place! I loved this hotel. It was in the price range we were looking for and I was very weary, but everything was very clean. Staff was amazing! My only complaint is that during breakfast they were always out of almost everything. So you could have cereal but not toast, or eggs but no ham. This was the best staff that I have even seen at a hotel. They helped us out with everything. For anyone that is coming out to the A.O.G. "Clean Hotel with Friendly Staff!"
We had a great stay. Front desk service was great, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Location on Google Maps/ my Tom Tom were incorrect so it was a bit difficult to find, but once we did it was a great stay!

"hotel close to airport & Blodgett Hospital."
We've stayed @ several Country Inn & Suites. I can always count on them to have a clean room, an inside pool, and a hearty breakfast. This one was the same. I would recommend it to people getting an early flight, or in our case, early surgery @ Blogett Hospital. The staff was amicable and efficient. Very clean, comfortable. Rooms big with micro & refrigerator. Free Breakfast was wonderful. Hotel was next to shopping center and restaurants. Staff polite and helpful.

This hotel is a great place for the value! Stopped here on a cross country drive with 4 kids and having the following included was exactly what we needed: - Indoor pool - Free WiFi - Microwave/fridge in our room - Free breakfast - Cookies at front desk Everyone was very nice!
we were able to check in a little early, and they were very accomodating. We had a room by the stairs and elevator and hear no noise at all...it was great!!! Even though we did nto get back in time to use it, it was nice that the pool was open for adults until midnight...next time we sttay will plan on taking advantage of that feature...deinfately will […] stay again!!!
