Hilton San Antonio Airport - Northstar - San Antonio

Pool was not for bigger kids, only 3 feet deep. NO outlets in the room. Are you kidding me? This is the times of all things electronic, get some plugs. But the room was clean and beds were comfy.

I was concerned when I got my receipt at check-out, I found that hotel applied an unauthorized charge on my credit card even though I prepaid hotel through Hotels.com. Upon arrival, confronted check-in counter but no one was around. Airline personnel waited also. When attendant approached counter, no greeting was given or a "hello" welcome to the Hilton. We had to inform that we wanted to check in. 2 personnel were talking with each other so we had to wait. Had problems also with no micro and no frig. Great staff and service. Hotel was probabbly built during the hotel boom in the 90's where speed of completion was more important than quality of building. Updates abound but walls must be paper thin. Worked fine for in and out business trip.

I have stayed in several hotels in the area and for the past year I have only stayed at the Hilton Airport at Northstar. I find it easy to get to from the airport, it meets my needs, the room has always been great. I use the pool in the summer and I love having a lot of choices close by for eating. The room was clean, it is a Hilton. The customer service is well below par. They speak down to you and make excuses for every "No, can't help you with that" they say. Hilton Diamond means nothing to this Hotel.

Room was very comfortable and basically clean. However, pieces of the ceiling in the shower had come off and were laying in the tub. Good meal in the restaurant.

Mold in the bathroom on the ceiling above the tub. Staff at the front desk when I checked in seemed to be bothered by the fact I used hotel.com. When I found out that I had to extend my stay - she really couldn't be bothered to help - basically told me that I need to check out in the AM and rebook then.

Our overall stay was wonderful . The staff wnet out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms condition could use some improvement . The bathroom look like in was in the process of being remodel there was dirt on the ceiling , the handel on the door was broken, the carpet in the room could use a cleaning .

I found the convenience of the hotel to the airport the best part of it. I think that it was too much money for this hotel for a shuttle service. I thought it was average.

You can find a better hotel for cheaper in the area. Didn't expect the nickel and diming for a hotel in this area, unfortunately I read the fine print after I booked a non-refundable. $10 a day for parking and $10 a day for internet. In addition a neighboring room had a wake-up call that I assume they slept through (repeatedly), in attempting to call […] the front desk to notify them, they also chose to ignore their phone and not answer it. I visit S.A. several times a year and have found better hotels for a lower cost with parking, free wi-fi and the front desk doesn't have an issue answering their phone. Devamı

Never again will I stay in this Hilton Hotel. The elevator was loud and I thought we were going to get stuck in it a couple of times. We had two rooms that smelled like mildew, both of them. The only down side i encountered was that they charge for parking, otherwise well worth the money.

I selected this hotel because of the location and the shuttle service, but it wasn't worth it. The elevators are in need of service and are very loud. If you get stuck with a room near one, don't plan on sleeping. The rooms weren't very clean, there was still hair in the shower and bits of trash on the floor. I feel there was some misunderstandings as to what was included in the price. There were extra charges for using wireless internet. Also when I tried to use it it did not asked if I approved of the charges it just charged my room. There was a ten dollar a day parking fee that came as a surprise.

I loved the atmosphere of this older hotel. The sports bar needs a little update.

Though the service was good and vey prompy the hotel smelled old and mouldish. The hot tub smelled so bad it was not usable. Room AC leaked and had to share my room with parent one night. charge for parking and internet was a negative also...will not use again.

I stayed here as it was conveniently close to the customer I was visiting, and as a generic hotel it was fine. The food in the adjacent Tex's Grill restaurant was, in fact, very nice for breakfast. However, the little annoyances were grating, from the extremely slow response of the TV to change channels to the fact that one night the front desk didn't […] answer my call for over 20 rings twice in a row. Even the check-in process my associate persevered the day after I checked in was frustratingly long. So, overall, an average or slightly poor experience. Devamı

Hot tub didn't work, many channels on the tv had signal issues, and they started painting the fitness center while I was on the treadmill...wonderful fumes to breathe in. Also, not sure why I had to enter my room key for the elevator to get to the 12th floor when you can take it to the 11th and climb the stairs one flight...top notch security.

The hotel didn't accept an extended check out request. The internet service in the business center was NOT free and the interface was OLD VERSION, old enough not to let you run must of the websites requiring a "Newest Internet Explorer Version". A shame that the computers didn't allow to upgrade the software. In order to find this out, you have to pay […] for the computer access with your credit card... Money directly going to waste... SItes were near by, location was great. COuld have placed more coffee in room, but they were always quick to respond with additions. RObes were great, comfort & size of room was fantastic. Layout was also very relaxing.

The hotel is nice, rooms are clean and comfortable. The downside to this hotel is that while it was reasonably priced, everything was extra. We had to pay for internet service (daily), breakfast and parking (daily). The buiness room is also not a free service but is charged by the minute. Just not worth the money, unless you are having meetings in the halls. Much better options in town and nearby, such as Hyatt Place

Beds were very comfy with down feather comforter and pillows. Knew about the $10 parking charge, so that was no problem, since I figured it was because the garage (not parking lot) was outsourced. All of the staff was nice and considerate, but when asked for more towels, they came back unfolded. Not a huge deal, but details are nice. I also noticed […] that the putt putt area which is really for kids, were just full of smokers. Perhaps have a smokers area that doesnt involve kids around would be better. Good location, caddy corner from northstar mall. Easy to get on highway to make it to other places in town. Only complaint was the $10 parking you are forced to pay for because there is no where to park for free. The 4:00 check in time is kinda late but they let us check in 2 hrs early.

The rating for this hotel is way too high. It should be a 3 star the most. There was a weird and nasty smell in the hallways, it seems to me the room was a smocking room when I requested a non-smocking room because I was with 2 children, the pool was not accessible when you need it because of some private party going on around it.
