Why is the name of the hotel different then where I actually stayed... I would fix that on hotels.com... that is just unprofessional...

I had a really good stay in here!! Good location Nice staff

This hotel is close to two U-bahn stops, Taborstraße and Nestroyplatz, both within a 5-minute walk, and thus easily accessible from the airport (you can take the S7 train into Praterstern and then take one stop to Taborstraße or walk for about 15 minutes). It's also easy to walk downtown, about a 20 minute walk. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, […] although I can't say as much for the map of the city we got--it's a huge map that's kind of impractical to take out on the street, and at the same time, some of the tiny streets are written in such small print that it's difficult to read. The room itself was wonderful, very comfortable beds, quite clean, a minibar/fridge we used to stock some breakfast items, even a flatscreen TV with HDMI jack (which we couldn't use, not having an HDMI plug--but it was still sweet!). The neighbourhood itself isn't bad, either--a little quiet, so I wouldn't stay out late by myself, for example, but there are grocery stores within a 5-minute walk. Great hotel great place and clean

There is a canopy linked all rooms that may generate concerns on privacy and security - a very important issue

Hotel didnt provide bedroom slippers even though it was stated so in the booking. When they provided the next day, only 2 pairs were provided for three persns. Same thing for the compimentary bottled water too. bathroom light was also not fixed until the next morning,

Stayed their for one night. They didn't have wifi in the hotel as promised and had to come down to the lobby to use it. Didn't have a electrical convertor for my north american laptop. Room was tiny with a twin bed and had smell of smoke in a non-smoking room. Overall not a bad place for one night but def wouldn't do more than 1 night.

We really enjoyed the stay in this Hotel and the staff were very kind and helping.. the Hotel romms are pretty big which is the best for a Family.. we will chose this hotel again for our future stays in Vienna

The housekeeping maid was fantastic and went out of her way to make sure we had a nice stay. 5 stars for her and all the staff at the Nestroy! I will be back and look forward to it. Thank you!

Great value hotel in a handy location only a couple of tube stops from the city centre. Would use again

A bit far from central Vienna. Had to pay for Breakfast but quality was just so-so. Better off eating at a Viennese cafe. Rooms were clean, but a bit small. Toilet was pleasant

Nice hotel, close to the city center. In my opinion, too expensive for its conditions. Hope to be more clean and modern. The rooms are too dark, it need more lighting. No interesting view from windows. Nice breakfast-it's the only positive thing I've mentioned.

One of the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Inexpensive, clean, cosy, close to centre, large room with a balcony, free Wi-Fi, sauna, gym, safe box, helpful staff...etc. Perfect value for money!

We stayed at the Hotel Nestroy for 3 night. The hotel rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the city center and the metro station is only 5 minutes way if you'd like to see the Belvedere or Schlonbrunn.

Excellent location, very easy to get to all the major attractions and to and from the airport. We were unfortunate and got an attic room that was very cramped but we didn't spend too much time in the room so it wasn't a major issue- though it was an anniversary trip and a room where you could stand upright would have been nice.

I stayed at the hotel nestroy for 3 nights and did really enjoy it. The rooms were very nice. The location is okay but not the best. Staff arent very friendly. Breakfast was good however not worth 15 euros.

We found service very good but were not happy with the indifferent attitude of the evening staff. The morning staff were very helpful though.

The hotel was not in the heart of the City but was conveniently placed for trams and underground. The room was a good size and well kept but did hear a lot of noise from adjoining rooms and was inconveniently placed between the 2 lift stops so we still had to carry our bags upstairs. Did have breakfast a couple of days which were good value and set […] us up well for touring the City. Reception staff were very polite & seemed quite helpful. Devamı

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good area, two minute walk to, two different metro stops, tram, bus goes past hotel. 15 minute walk to high street. but makes it quiet at night to sleep. Me and my better half spent two days in Vienna to load up on culture and calories. Our stay at Nestroy was very nice. The hotel is easy to get to (purple line to Tauberstrasse, then two blocks) and in walking distance to Stefansplatz. Nice, clean room. Quiet neighbourhood, easy access by tram, subway and by foot. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The room was great, it had two floors! Perfect for us who were bringing a 4 months old baby. Friendly staff, and nice hotel bar. The only negative thing was that the beds were quite hard. The inner city was a ten minutes walk away. We recomend this hotel!

Location – quite close to an underground train line but the hotel is not in the nicest part of town. Next time I’d stay in one of the other districts close to the centre of town. Condition of room – the rooms appear to have been recently refurbished and are clean. Noise – there appears to be very little if any sound insulation between the rooms. I […] could hear everything going on in the hallway and stairs, as well as in the room next to me. It was so bad the tv program on in the next room could be clearly heard. When this was mentioned to management they offered me a free breakfast as compensation, however I would have much preferred to have been able to sleep. We were offered a room upgrade which we accepted and paid the appropriate fee. The room, Room 509, was incredibly inconvenient. it was on two floors having a bedrrom and bathroom upstairs and a wardrobe, a single easy chair and a table downstairs. There were no drawers on either floor. The safe was at ground level in the wardrobe which required one […] to lie on the floor to read the instructions. The air conditioner system does not work in the cooler moths so it was necessary to stand on a chair to open the window. The tea/coffee set up was rather sparse. The room apart the hotel was perfectly acceptable; the staff were attentive and polite and all other aspects appeared to be well managed. But beware of Room 509 Devamı

The Hotel Nestroy offered everything we needed from the friendly staff who was able to convert currency, book tours or give advice on dining, to the contemporary and seemingly newly renovated rooms. the location was a short walk from the City Center and near to bakeries and stores. The air conditioning left much to be desired, but it did work...just […] not as cold as this American wanted. The air conditioners in Europe were all like this if not worse. It got the job done. If we visit Wien again, we will likely stay at the Hotel Nestroy. For the quality, it was very inexpensive. Devamı

I have stayed at the Nestroy twice and on both occasions the staff have been fantastic. The Nesttroy is a very clean, modernerised hotel with large rooms, good soundproofing and an in-house bar and restaurant. It is just 200 meters from 2 of the Vienna's metro lines giving access to the city centre and the CAT train to the airport in a few minutes, […] but at the same time, the street is quiet and the area seems safe (if a bit scruffy in places). Some good local cafes and restaurants serving traditional Austrian food and thge taxi service the hotel arranged to take me to the airport at 0530 was reliable and excellent. The staff did everything they could to help me, and the free wi-fi is a real bonus for the business traveller with no 3G mobile broadband. If you want to see and enjoy Vienna without breaking the bank then the Nestroy is for you. Devamı

The hotel is divided into two? parts on both sides of the street. We recieved room on the opposite side from reception. The room was quite ok but this gave the hotel an unpersonnel approach since we did not pass any public parts (reception, bar, restaurant a.s.o.) on our way to our room. Clean, comfortable rooms, and early check in 08:00, without any additional fees.Not in the heart of the Vienna, but only 10 minutes walk from city centre. You must give credit card or 50 euros, which will be given back after check out.

The room was huge by European standards, but it had a funny smell when you first entered. Everything was as advertised, my only complaint was the walk to the subway was a little bit farther than I had expected.

We had wonderful stay in Vienna. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is located 5 minutes from a subway station and is about 15 minutes easy walk to the centre of town. If you can get good rates for the hotel, you should stay at this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel in the Junior Suite for one week while we were visiting Vienna. Things that we liked about his hotel were the friendly staff at the reception desk, the room layout and the sauna in the basement. Unfortunately, the bathroom really needed a good scrub down (there was mold growing around the shower tiles and a rim of grim around […] the tub) and the location is in a so-so neighborhood (but it is very quick and easy to get to the main city by tram or underground). The location overall is good and the hotel itself is well maintained. Our triple room was two rooms, one with a full size double bed and another sofa bed in the other room. Would literally have fit 4 people. However, whenever we needed to borrow anything, like a power adapter, they would nickle and dime everything. In other words, we couldnt borrow […] anything and hold a deposit onto the room unless it was returned. They would only sell the items to us and for a huge amount of money. Devamı

I had booked this hotel mostly because it was close to a location where we were renting bikes for an extended vacation to Budapest. The hotel was easy to get to via the S-Bahn (S7) from the airport, and is also close to two U-Bahn stations. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and grocery stores close to the hotel. We were greeted pleasantly […] upon our arrival, and allowed to check into our room immediately, even though it was about 10:00 am. The room was spacious and clean, and had nice quality soap and shampoo in the washroom. I had seen reports that the hotel was in a "rough" neighbourhood, but we saw little evidence of this, though we weren't out wandering the streets at night. We did not eat any meals in the hotel. My only complaint might be the very weak WIFI signal. Our room was on the first floor, and it took a long time to get logged on, and the signal kept getting dropped. Devamı

all around good place to stay..Could've included breakfast in the price. otherwise, great...Had an awesome sauna, with fresh towels, coffee in the room, newspapers, great big screen tv in the room..Very nice, recommend..Totally worth the money asked.
