HESPERIA CORDOBA - Cordoba

We stayed here for one night on a trip around Andalucia. The hotel was in an excellent location, just next to the Puente Romano which meant that everything you'd want to see in Cordoba was in easy walking distance. Staff were helpful and gave us a map of the town when we arrived. We had a ground floor room quite near the reception. The room was a good […] size, clean and functional, and decorated in a traditional Spanish style (painted tiles, wood, wrought iron etc). The bathroom looked a little tired, but it was clean and everything worked fine. There were no drink-making facilities in the room, but we found that throughout the rest of the trip so we assumed that was always the case in Spain, although a bit unusual for a four star hotel in my experience. We'd booked room only, but were offered a discounted breakfast on check in and decided to go for it. It was a good selection, and you could order hot food if you wanted. There is an underground car park (which you pay for separately). I would definitely recommend this hotel, particularly if you have a car, as the old town looked to be a bit of a nightmare to drive through (the streets are tiny). Stayed two nights in late Sept.2011 Hotel is clean, comfortable, modern and quiet. It is just across the river from the Mezquita by way of a foot bridge. Breakfast, while not cheap, had an excellent choice of healthy food; we made it the main meal of the day. Staff was professional, friendly, and helpful.

Overall good stay, will stay again (provided rates don't rise). Plus side ~Junior Suite fantastic views and great location. Minus side ~coaches parked outside spoil the ambience during the day ~GET THEM TO SWITCH OFF THEIR ENGINES !!! (noise very intrusive) ~instructions needed for use of coffee machine, no tea option-disappointing

Clean, comfortable hotel in a very good location. But as can be the case with chain hotels, the service did not match anything like what you receive in a independent hotel that cannot trade on its name.

Everything very clean and comfortable, and most of the rooms have some kind of view onto the beautiful city. Our only problem was that we wanted a non-smoking room, but everyone around the room was smoking, in the halls and out the windows, so it was like being in a cigarette factory! Not sure how they could get a better control on that.

The location is perfect, the staff is pleasant(all the tapas restaurant were great, especially the salinas) and the room was quite big, even for american standars.

No pegamos ojo, había cumpleaños en un salón y nos dijeron que no habían previsto que el ruido afectase a nuestra habitación... error que no es comprensible en un hotel de esa categoría. Es verdad que nos compensaron con un desayuno, pero la impresión que nos ha dejado es francamente mala.

Eran las fiestas de Córdoba, pero no es por eso que el hotel me pareció ruidoso. El motivo era que justo bajo nuestra habitación se celebró una cena que, según el personal, no debería haber durado hasta más allá de la 1 de la madrugada. A las 3 la fiesta seguía a todo volumen. A nuestra llegada nos dieron, además, una habitación de características diferentes […] a la que había reservado, insistiendo en que el hotel estaba lleno y no me podían dar otra. Cuando nos quejamos, nos dieron una más parecida a nuestra reserva. Es decir, que el hotel no estaba lleno y nos mintieron para mantener la habitación para otra persona, aunque en teoría la disponibilidad dependía de la hora de llegada. El edificio no parece de muy buena calidad, lo que se nota especialmente en el ruido en las habitaciones. Y hay un edificio anejo más nuevo que está demasiado cerca de la cocina del restaurante y huele a comida en todo el pasillo. Sin duda, es mi peor experiencia en un Hesperia. El hotel está ubicado a solo unos pasos del Puente Romano y del museo de la Calahorra, muy interesante. El personal es muy muy profesional y amable. El restaurante anexo, Al Punto, tiene una buena carta y un menú del día de pocos € todo incluido que stá muy bien. El Sr. Jose, responsable de la sala restaurante, es muy simpatico y amable. De verdad un […] excelente hotel, y de nuestra estancia en Andalucia ha sido el más barato y en absoluto el mejor ! Seguro que lo aconsejaremo a nuestros amigos. Devamı

La piscina es pequeña, tanto de dimensiones como de profundida,en la parte mas baja mide 1.20 m. y en la mas alta 1.00 m. La foto de la piscina que aparece en la pagina web, no se corresponde con la realidad.

LLegé con mi novia a Cordoba para pasar una noche, y la experiencia fue muy buena. El hotel tiene muy buen acceso desde la autovía, y es fácil encontrar aparcamiento muy cerca. La habitación superaba mis espectativas, con vistas a la mezquita y una cama muy grande. Todo limpio y perfecto como es norma en los hoteles del grupo NH. Por poner un pero, […] la zona de la piscina la vi un poco descuidada, pero es verdad que estaban de reformas. En cuanto a la localización, en 10 minutos paseando estas en la mezquita y el centro histórico, y te ahorras tener que meter el coche por el centro. Devamı

Hôtel très classe, chambre spacieuse et agréable. Magnifique buffet de petit-déjeuner.

Prijs kwaliteit van het hotel is goed, kamers en inrichting zijn een beetje gedateerd, maar gezien de prijs is dit geen probleem. Kamer die wij hadden was zeer rium, en de bedden waren zeer goed. Locatie is uitstekend op ongeveer 15 minuten van het mezquita. Parkeren kan gratis in directe omgeving.

Alber- go confortevole, pulitissimo e silenzioso. Personale molto professionale e disponibile. Noi non abbiamo consumato la colazione in Hotel. Troppo cara .A due passi ci sono valide alternative .

Excellent hotel, très bonne situation, personnel très sympathique et multilingue (rare en espagne).

piscine chaude et ageable

Good location, nice rooms and pool!

Hôtel très bien placé, en bordure du guadalquivir, juste un pont à traverser et l'on est dans le centre historique. Piscine un peu décevante par rapport aux photos mais raffraichissante quand même....
