It's a good alternative for touristic vocation

The room I had was quite small and lack tea making facilities. However, it was clean and had a decent sized desk and free wifi (important for me). Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English.

We arrived late, thelady at the desk was welcoming. Initially we didn't like the room as it smelled positively of smoke...she offered us a smaller room with a promise to change next morning...which was honoured and the next room was perfect. Would've liked a larger cafe area as breakfast was not included so had to go out for breakfast. Lots of cafes […] in the neighborhood so not a major problem. I was really surprised when told only 1/2 of building has elevator available. Using staires to carrying laguage to room was not fun.

I booked a room with two beds in it and was given a room with only one bed. Went back to the front desk. Got a different room, although upgraded, still only one bed. Gave up. Hotels.com really needs to get it together. The communication between the website and the hotel us very poor.

Overall I was very pleased but I didn't like the way that one side of the bed was against the wall. It meant that one person (me!) had to climb over the other person to get in and out of the bed. I found it very claustrophobic. I could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel or the facilities or the staff - all were excellent.

It was a good deal

The hotel furniture, tv, is very old. The rooms are clean. The beddings are comfortable. The location is very nice and quiet. With some cafes in the area. It is not very touristy area but a block away from the subway stop. The hotel staff were excellent. Very helpful.

As captioned, must request no 1st floor in advance during booking, particularly when carrying heavy baggages

The Trend has an outstanding staff at the front desk, and the hotel is exceptionally well maintained. What really counted to us was the very helpful and polite staff - both day and night teams. We needed much help with e-docs, printing and scheduling, and they really were great. Hotel is 15 min walk to "heart" of old city or main museums, and nearby […] shopping. Close by area has cafe's, "super" markets, bakeries and even night-spots (bars and pubs). Rooms are typical size for price, but modern bath and all in great working order. Devamı

The room was good size, The sevice was great, The location was walking distance to inner loop. We walked to shopping and every where.

Hotel service was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, location is near university and close to main points of interest

I usually stay at the Triest in Vienna which is twice as expensive but I have to say that the Trendhotel is perfectly fine for a stay in Vienna. It's clean and straight-forward.

I stayed that this hotel for 4 nights while attending a conference nearby. It is conveniently located, about 5-10 min from the U2 station. The room was rather small but clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall, I think it met my needs and I would stay there again if I have another reason to visit Vienna

It was a great hotel, staff was nice, very clean. It wasnt in the heart of the center, but about a 10 minute walk. The only down side is the parking, which could easily be how all hotels are, im not sure. But since they dont have hotel parking you have to park in a parking garage for 20-30 euro per night. Hotel is well located and the staff are very friendly. Nice easy walk from underground to hotel and hotel to city center. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, went for Christmas Markets, a large one was a 5 min walk away, behind the Church. The hotel recommended a very good local restaurant just around the corner, forget it's name, but it was next to a small Chinese buffet.

Friendly service, clean and very close to all the museums. Definitely a good options for the price we paid.

I really liked this hotel. It was a 15 minute walk from Stephanplatz, which may seem long to some, but it was far enough away from the large crowds. The hotel was close to the Rathaus and the Burg Theater and the Parliament Builiding as well. It was also very close to the Schottentor Univeristat U-bahn and S-Bahn station where the subway was available […] as well as many of the city's trams. We had a nice room with two twin beds that were joined together to form a queen bed. We had a private bathroom that was very clean and our room was attended to each day. One issue that we talked about was the lack of temperature control within the room itself. There was not a thermostat in the room, so we slept in a shorts and a t-shirt, as it got quite warm, despite it being late December outside. The front desk attendants were multilingual and were willing to assist us when we had questions. I was very happy with this choice of hotel. Devamı

The hotel is really nice and in a central position. The room maid wasnt at all nice they never replace water coffee and tea in our business room. we have to ask them anytime for that. Then i think 15 euro for a breakfast its too much. Never mind its a nice place and we enjoyed it alot business rooms are really nice and large enough.

Would come back. Nice clean restroom. Very helpful employee. Great location. Walking distance to grocery store. I'll be back for sure.

Very good hotel, in excellent condition and very clean. Reception offered NO advice to us as tourists as to what is going on, where the Christmas markets where located, nor any of the attractions. They did not have a list of either local or recommend restaurants, basically just booked us in which was disappointing. The room was modern, clean and in […] good order, but was very small. Hotel has no personality, staff are ok. No proper bar as stated in their description. Just a few seats in the corner of reception. Very disappointing. Would not stay here again. Rooms are clean. Small with not enough lighting. Breakfast extremely expensive

This hotel is suitable only for people who arrive late, sleep, and then check out again. The standard room is so small that the only thing possible in the room is lying on the bed and walking to the door/bathroom - however, only one person at a time. Great location, within walking distance of most of what we needed to do. Lovely seasonal celebration at the Rathaus at the end of the street. Close to excellent trolley lines that will take you anywhere else you want to go. One warning: check to see if breakfast in included in your room rate. Overall nice hotel at reasonable price. But I must admit I have never seen a four star hotel with so small rooms. Couldn't even get to the bed on one side but had to crawl from the foot end or from other side. We had to small trolley bags and they filled what ever room was left and made it impossible to get from the bed to the door. Nice location on […] a quiet street close to centre and many sights. The hotel looks like 3 stars hotel, a bit old but I have to admit that it was clean and close to the main locations. The main problem was that we heard our neighbors very well because of the tick walls and the door between the rooms, It was dark in the room, no main light, only small lamps near the bed and one in the corner. Excellent hotel for sightseeing in Vienna. Quiet yet within an easy walk of the beautiful city buildings that make this city such a delight to visit.

The English-speaking staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was meticulously clean and beautifully furnished. The location put us within walking distance of almost everyplace we wanted to visit. Marvelous experience!

the sound from the lobby echos up onto the first floor esp if you are in rm 114 or 115. We were awoken at 1:30 am one night and 4:30 am another. Needless to say not that happy about that. Otherwise the hotel is clean, and very nice. Just two blocks outside the inner ring, not bad for location. Inner ring would be better but for the cost difference this […] hotel is a good deal. We ended up walking all the way from the train station which was LONG, LONG, LONG--seriously over 1.5 miles. Anyway, the hotel itself was extremely nice. It is some kind of old palace that has been renovated to be very comfortable. The sheets were great, the bedding was nice. It was definately a high class hotel. The front desk girl kind of turned her […] nose up at us as we came bounding in the doors at 11pm, exhaused and sweaty with our oversized hiking packs on our back. She didn't offer us any helpful tips or hints or offer to provide us any additional information as the nice front desk people did at other hotels. She didn't even mention the free internet in the lobby or point us in that direction. So, she was snooty and less than helpful but we didn't really interact with any other staff members. Devamı

This hotel was located about 2 blocks from the Opera House, bus stop, and restaurants. The room was small, but very comfortable. The reception desk had tickets available for area attractions and were very helpful.

The hotel is in a very nice building, the decor is modern and very tasteful and the hotel is clean and location is also very good, however, the rooms would really benefit from air conditioning.

this was a great hotel, a very nice modern, clean room, with a very nice bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made for a great nights' sleep after a lot of walking around beautiful Vienna. Location was convenient to major sights for those who like to walk.

Was in this hotel in summer. They have no air-conditioning in rooms, instead offering a minature fan. In 30 degrees + heat (celsius), they thought a duvet is the appropriate covering for a bed, instead of a sheet. Austria Trend Hotel Rathauspark is the perfect location for anyone wanting to see the old city sites of Vienna. It is easy walking to the Hofbugh, museum Quarter, and good U barn connections to Karlsplatz, Schonbrun, and the UN.
