Days Inn San Francisco Lombard - San Francisco

I booked this hotel as a mid-way stop from northern to southern california. The main reason was due to the free parking that was offered as other hotels in the area were charging $30+!! After checking in, I pulled into the parking lot but no spaces were available. When I asked the clerk where I was suppose to park, he told me to just park in the handicap […] slot. I asked him if he or hotel.com was going pay for the ticket if I recieved one and he stated "no". I asked him where other parking spots were and he stated "you are on your own!' and walked back into the office. Due to no spaces, I went ahead and parked in the middle of the driveway and walked to my room. It was very small but clean only had a little mold under the sink area. The bed was not desirable at all as it was concaved in the middle!! When my wife and I laid down, we were "drawn" to the center hole. Real glad we are "spooners" when we sleep!!!! Overall, the hotel is very small and compact. The price is great for the area, the free parking is great whenever a spot opens up and it is relatively close to everything. Devamı

The location is very convenient, but the room was extremely stuffy and the air conditioning unit was noisy and gave me a sore throat/cold.

I stayed at days inn with my college-age son during his spring break-we were welcomed by the manager, and the free parking in the hotel parking lot was key, as we had rented a car. We had 2 double beds, and out room was clean and spacious with microwave, refrig, coffee maker, and alarm-oh, and free wifi...coffee in lobby in a.m. The location of the […] hotel was perfect for our needs, as we ate breakfast at one of the many places on Chestnut or union street, right by the hotel --fabulous organic, bagel place, asian and mexican restaurants one block away. Also great walking in marina and close to fisherman's wharf and bridge ..the room was dark and quiet at night --traffic noise was minimal and i never heard anyone's TV (hate that). The manager went out of his way to help us with any questions or concerns we might have. He even found extra parking spots when the lots were filled., and helped with the wifi. I highly recommend Days Inn lombard for the location, price, and cleanliness!!!!! Plus, i am a distance runner and the running right from the hotel down into the Marina/presidio area is lovely... as I stated the service could have been better. The heater in the room did not work properly and the response by the staff was not that great. We changed rooms next day and it was better. you must realize that this is not a 5 star hotel and the rooms will reflect that but apart from service overall it was ok and I Might stay again because the location […] is good and the price is fairly good. If you are looking for safe, good location, free parking and cheap then this motel will work. This motel had the rooms facing the car parking lot and parking was free. Plenty of cafes, pubs, and ihop within a block. 20 mins walking from Fishermans Warf and a block from a bus stop that would take you to all major parts: north end, china town, finical […] area, Yerba center. Take the number 30 bus for $2! Only bad is no free breakfast or no microwave in the room. Devamı

This hotel was conveniently located, only about 3 miles from Fisherman's Warf and North Beach area. A cheap $7 cab ride took us to North Beach. At first our check it experience didn't seem promising since they had the wrong room we had made the reservation for, we reserved a double room but the hotel had reservation for a single king room, luckily the […] clerk was able to give us what we needed, 4 girls in a king room would've been a very tight squeeze. The rooms are small clean. The bathroom was so small, no counter space and just a small mirror which made it kind of difficult to get ready. Not a huge deal since we were only there for one weekend. We really appreciated the fact that the male clerk was accomodating and really nice, the girl not so much. If you're going to San Francisco for a weekend stay and are not really going to spend much time in the hotel I would recommend staying here. And for the money you're paying a night it is totally worth it. It's a little old but ok for a weekend. Devamı

Decent, clean and safe. I was not expecting any frills, so I was pleasantly surprised. Good place to sleep, if you don't mind a bit of walk to main sightseeing.

The only complaint I have is that the pillows were horrible. They were impossible to get comfortable.

Great staff! Free parking! Spectacular price! This hotel is close to all the fun night life that The Marina has to offer. We had a great stay

The hotel parking lot was not that big so I would suggest taking that into consideration. Still, the hotel included parking which is a plus given the expensive parking in San Francisco. The beds were extremely uncomfortable (VERY HARD!) but the room was a decent size. Breakfast is a joke, it only serves coffee and some coffee cakes, which to me can't […] even be considered continental. There's an IHop across the street, though, which is where we chose to eat breakfast. Bottom line, there are other hotels very close by on the same street that include parking and might have more comfortable beds and a real continental breakfast for more or less the same price. I stayed here during my 3 day vacation to SFO. This hotel is located close to the Crooked Street and around 2 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. The owner was very nice to give us the room 2 hours before check-in time at no extra charge. Room was nice & clean, and the bathroom was very spacious. I would definitely stay […] here next time. Liked the location and free parking. Didn't like the front desk service (were not very helpful giving us directions to the hotel, sometimes didn't answer the phone). The room had small stains on the sheets and didn't feel clean. The Wi-Fi signal is only strong enough to work near the front office, but still it's free. Parking was the ONLY reason I stayed at this hotel...after paying to park while staying at a downtown hotel the parking provided at this hotel was priceless...The surrounding neighborhood was great as well...a ton of restaurants within waling distance as well as a supermarket....The hotel itself was dreadfull...the beds are so wornout they bow in the […] middle like a cott at grandmas house..the bathroom was filled with mold amd the towls were so old they were brown and you can tell they wash them at home....IT'S CALLED BLEACH!!!!!...the airconditioner was extremely LOUD and not working well..Theyre are many other hotels on this stretch of Lombard St. ....one of which I;ll be staying at.......GOOD RIDDANCE TO THIS DUMP!!!!!!! The only positive point is the hotel location. Do not expect any friendly staff, be ready for a standing breakfast in the lobby, poor hotel manutention, poor Internet service (unstable).

This hotel is fairly conveniently located close to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, but is a walk from all other areas of San Francisco. But is is very clean and the hotel staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you don't mind taking the bus or a cab, then I highly recommend this hotel for the value! I have travelled to San Francisco several times […] and stayed in "convenient" locations for the same price, without the courtesy, cleanliness, and comfort that I received at this location. For the price, I wasn't expecting the hotel to be that great and it met those expectations. The location was much better than I exptected and we were within walking distance of several great bars and restaurants!

Would not recommend. I felt the heebie jeebies the entire time I was in the room. Could not even connect to the free wifi and hotel staff would not answer the phone to assist with the problem. There were not enough parking spaces to accomodate the number of rooms they have and were told to create a spot in front of vending machienes and were worried […] all night long that we would be towed and kept cheking on the car. The staff is extremely helpful and gracious. I have stayed here frequently and always been more than satisfied. Service is impeccable, rooms clean and well appointed. The flat screen wall mounted tvs are wonderful. Microwaves and refrigerators in each room are always clean and operable. Chose this hotel for location and good price. The first room was not even cleaned up. We asked for a second room which smelled of urine in the bathroom and main area. They had tried to cover this up with cleaning supplies but it didnt work. The staff was not helpful at all and not friendly. This a great location near the bridge and presido if you are […] trying to stay out of the busy downtown area but there are countless hotels up and down lombard which im sure will provide better service and a cleaner room for the money. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have parking and not have to pay. The room was clean and had all the essentials you would want. I would prefer queen beds and not double beds. There were 4 of us and it is hard to share a double bed. Other than that, I would stay again.

This hotel was the worst. Their internet did NOT work in the room. The front door of the room didn't even close. There were holes in the floor. We asked to change rooms and were denied. The hotel staff were snooty, arrogant and downright rude. What a terrible time we had - do NOT stay at the DaysInn Lombard,

NO PASAMOS NI LA PRIMERA NOCHE. NOS TOCI SALIR A BUSCAR ALGO MAS Y PERDER EL DINERO. EL SERVICIO DE LA PERSONA QUE LO ATENDIA FUE UN HORROR; LAS HABITACIONES NADA QUE VER CON LAS FOTOS QUE SALIAN EN INTERNET! MEJOR DICHO ES UNA COMPLETA PORQUERIA

El parking es adicional y no te lo dicen vale $25.00 dolares diarios cuando los otros hoteles del area no lo cobran.

Zimmer (Nr.111) total verdreckt. Fußboden (Teppich) stark verschmutzt mit Haaren und sonstigen Ablagerungen (Brösel, millimeterdicke Staubschicht). Im Bett fremde Haare, kleine Blutflecken. Die Tapete löste sich an den Überlappungen von der Wand. Überall an diesen Kanten schwarze Flecken. Im Bad Schimmel an der Decke. Das Abwasser stieg aus dem Waschbecken […] hoch. Dies alles wurde noch übertrumpft von einem ekligen, penetranten und süßlichen Geruch, der in der Luft lag. Bei Recherchen im Internet, woran dies liegen kann, auf "Bettwanzen" gestoßen - auch wenn ich keine gesehen habe - dafür spricht auch der seltsame Geruch). Es war so widerlich, daß ich um ein anderes Zimmer bat. Aber auch dort nur geringe Verbesserungen. Der Geruch war laut Rezeptionist angeblich nur das Mittel, das zur Desinfektion und Parasitenbekämpfung eingesetzt wurde. Das Pärchen aus dem Nachbarzimmer hat auch das Hotel fluchtartig verlassen, nachdem dort das Wasser im Waschbecken gar nicht mehr abfloß (dafür kam es bei mir an). Rezeptionist war nur auf Drängen bemüht, mehr aber auch nicht. Es war kein anderes Zimmer mehr frei, so verließ ich das Motel. Achtung: Nicht buchen! Es gibt genug Alternativen im näheren Umkreis. Meine Bitte an Hotels.com: Nehmt dieses Motel bitte aus dem Programm! Devamı

L'hotel est bien situé, mais les chambres sentaient mauvais, on nous a attribué des chambres fumeurs alors que nous avions demandé non fumeur, l'accueil est un peu juste, on nous a fait payer trés chèr une chambre supplémentaire, il n'y a pas de salle pour le petit déjeuner

Das einzig Positive am Hotel ist seine Lage und die Umgebung. Das Hotelzimmer ist dreckig, bietet nur das Notwendigste und ist für den gezahlten Preis nicht akzeptabel. Das rechtfertigt auch die gute Lage nicht. Ein gewisses Maß an Sauberkeit sollte vorausgesetzt werden können. Die Verkehrsanbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehsmittel ist sehr gut.

Hotel situé dans san francisco avec parking gratuit intérieur. attention place de parking intérieure limitée. l'accueil n'est pas terrible et salle du petit dejeuner ridicule. les chambres sont correctes sans plus. bien pour une journée de transition mais pas pour un séjour.

L'hôtel est plutôt bien situé par rapport aux différents points touristiques de San Francisco, et autour de l'hôtel, il y a pas mal de resto/pub/bar à vin, ce qui est plutôt agréable ! Creo que el desayuno que va incluido lo tienen que mejorar muchisimo. Ademas, tambien deben mejorar los horarios de atencion en la recepcion y el mantenimiento de la macroestructura ( nos parecia oir insectos merodeando en el cieloraso), si bien es cierto que la limpieza de la habitacion era muy buena y satisfactoria. Für San Francisco war der Preis mehr als o.k. Es waren genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, die für einen etwas größen Van ( wir hatten hinten 3 Sitzbänke!) jedoch recht eng waren. Für normale Pkw´s waren die Parkplätze geeignet. Das Frühstück war jedoch mehr als beschaulich. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde es nachgefüllt. L'hotelier est carrément désagréable. Le petit déjeuner officiellement compris est un scandale : quasiment rien à manger, mauvais et en plus l'hotelier le sert plus d'une heure en retard car il dort!!
