Embassy Suites Hotel-Portland Washington Square - Tigard

We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year as it is convenient to shopping and visiting our family. We like all of the stores, restaurants and activities surrounding the area of the hotel. I have one grandchild that comes with us and the breakfast convenience and the indoor swimming pool are a plus. Beds were not very comfortable. The sleeper sofa was bad!! You could feel the springs. Hallway noisy until 2:00 a.m. Breakfast was poor - stale! Coffee was awful. I have stayed here quite a bit, so I will give it another try. I'm usually satisfied, but not this time. The location is great and the staff is friendly.

Very convenient to the shopping mall. Frequent shuttle service to the mall was very handy. Rooms were fine. Manager reception was great. Full breakfast was ok, eggs and sauages poor quality. Cooked eggs were better ....line up quite long that could be avoided (eg only 1 toaster for 150+ guests....recommend management buy another toaster).

however the hotel WiFi is SLOW and you have to pay $10 per day per device. KInda silly... since every hotel I have been to US/ Canada and Asia WiFi is free. Other then that should be a 5 rating...

Got this hotel for one night, it was a five star experience. Most prime location in Portland - inside washington square. I had stayed in Marriott previously which felt no value for money, but this one was perfect

My self, my daughter and her three kids (one 8 week old) stayed at the Embassy and were very comfortable. We were careful to be as quiet as possible and my daughter did a great job with the baby. We were visiting my other daughter and son for a 2nd Thanksgiving. Their place was too small for all the people that came. We had heard about the Embassy after […] I made reservations there. All great reports. Great breakfast!! The inside of the building is beautiful. I chose the embassy because they allowed more children then the hotels closer to Lake Oswego. I usually book for myself or two people---first time I had to book for children--more of a challenge then I thought it would be. But we found one in Embassy!! Couldn't ask for more :-) Devamı

there was something up with the heater, nosie damper door closed and opened during the night, and an alarm went off . The room was very nice and the staff was very good, will go back again

Have everything close and hopping and dinning.

This was a clean, large suite and it was very QUIET, which we wanted. The breakfast option is a bonus. Great stay! Kind, helpful staff.

I left my magnifying mirror in the bathroom of our room and have called 3 times to tell them I would come pick it up. I have left messages for someone to please call me back and have heard nothing. Does housekeeping even hear these messages? Not very happy.

Next to Washington square mall and many restaurants. Just off the highway exit but the entrance of the hotel is a bit trick to find. Parking lot is big, swimming pool is small but good for young family and business centre opened 24 hours with very slow and limited computer/internet and printers. Extra charges for in-room wifi or wired internet. Every […] suite comes with sofabed but charge $10 extra for roll-away bed. Breakfast is fine with many choices but don't forget your "service card" which they will check your name and room number before they let you enter breakfast lounge. Over all good for short stay. Hotel and customer service was great! Their continental breakfast is great, better then any others I've ever had! It is close to freeway access easy to get to Portland, mall and a target within walking distance.

This hotel had a beautiful lobby/dining area, good pool, clean rooms and excellent service. We enjoyed the happy hour free cocktails and the breakfast was excellent with made to order omelets.

The room was very nice and had a large living area and very nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet ad cook to order omlettes were beyond my expectation. I didn't deal with the staff too much but the ones I spoke to were quite nice. My only complaint about this hotel was that the pillows were awful and it made getting a good night sleep difficult. Excellent room, breakfast, and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would be nice if you had an outside smoking area, though I realize this is not popular these days.

a bit dissapointed .. seems in need of a remodel breakfast and comfort good though. However when i asked about the internet, I was told it was free and I was charged 10.00 even after asking the manager. I did read the agreement but i called the front desk and they said no charge just enter your code...

I would highly recommend this hotel - very roomy suites, great breakfast, great location (adjacent to the Washington Square Mall), very helpful staff and good eating places nearby. Our only disappointment was there was no free high speed internet available in the room, although they did have a business centre that guests could use.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Embassy Hotel. The breakfast was great, the pool area was terrific and the shopping mall is conveniently located next to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel had a nice pool and hot tub. We didn't eat there but there was a complimentary breakfast and drinks in the evening. Front desk staff was very polite

I was really looking forward to our stay over Labor Day...the bed was terrible! More comfortable to sleep on the couch...and the the a/c didn't work so the room was terribly hot! :( really disappointed. Will not stay there again.

The one and only thing that needs updated is their elevators!! Otherwise, recommend this Hotel and we always stay there when we are in town!!

Overall really enjoyed the stay. Our room was miles from the elevator and there were spots on the comforter, but otherwise room and hotel was clean. There was broken glass on the bathroom floor after first night-assumably the maid broke a glass and missed a few shards in the clean up.

Hotel was nice and Service was fine-- our non-smoking room really smelled of cigarette smoke pretty strongly and the breakfast quality had definitely gone down since our last stay, but everything else was great!

Me an my kids are very impressed with this Hotel, everything about it was awesome, it is beautful, affortable (worth every penney), the beds are the absolutely the best part about it, it was the best bed I've ever slept on, even better than my own!. I can't say enoug about it, I will always stay there when I go to Portland.

Great place to stay! Lots of free parking and the best part? The Free hot breakfast in the morning and the Hotel hosted Happy Hour (5:30-7:30) aka all you can drink drinks for free w/ light appetizers. what a deal!

We were actually disappointed in our stay. We had to get an additional room because the pull out sofa bed was so BAD. We had to ask for extra towels, never left enough wash cloths. It was so crowded for breakfast in the mornings, the FREE breakfast was just not worth it. As far as I am concerned, I will never again stay at an Embassy Suites.

I do not like being charged for the internet, but understand so many hotels do it. But, I had a laptop and my son had a laptop. We were charged twice each night. Now that is just too much. Try not to be too greedy, hotel.

I've stayed here several times and it is my first choice whenever work brings me to Portland. Even when my seminar is on the other side of town, this is my favorite hotel. Great breakfast buffet in the morning. Great facilities. Next door to great shopping for the family. My only disappointment is that the wi-fi isn't free.

We had a mini family reunion at the Embassy Suite in Tigard and it was everything we needed. My mom uses a wheel chair and the hotel put her very close to the elevator as we requested. Having Washington Square close by let us choose where we wanted to go out to dinner, but we also had a meal delivered to the room that was excellent and more than enough […] to feed 4. During several visits Beaverton/Portland, I've stayed at two other hotels in the vicinity, as well as once before at this Embassy Suites. This is by far my favorite place to stay. Management and staff do an excellent job.

We stay at Embassy Suites when we travel and are never unhappy. Excellent! Managers Reception was so nice to have after a long day out. The staff was extremely friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The North Towers are a must to request. So quiet we forgot we were in a hotel. Definitely will stay again!

Walking distance to Washinton Square mall, layout of hotel is perfeact, pool was fun for the kids, great workout room.

Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Very convenient location to shopping district and the Pearl District. Lots of problems with the electronic keys.

The hotel has a very nice breakfast that is varied enough to appeal to everyone. The nightly Manager's reception is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the Washington Square Mall which has almost all of the stores that you will seek. We will definitely stay there again.
