If you like cozy and comfortable you will like this place. Been there many times over the years and will do it again.

The Apple Farm Inn is our FAVORITE place to stay. The sraff is very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are simply amazing, cute, country, comfortable. The restaurant and gift store are the BEST. We would stay there every night if we could !!!

Excellent hotel & staff. I travel for business frequently and was a little concerned that this hotel was too " cutesy" for work. I was pleasantly surprised and the room, food & staff friendliness was exceptional! I plan to return with my wife who will love this place.

Went for a fast trip to San Luis Obispo right before Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at the Apple Farm. Great place to stay. The entire inn was decorataed beautifully for the holidays! Every nook and corner had a gorgeous holiday display and the entrance reminded us of Disneyland with all of the twinkling lights and Christmas decorations. The […] room was large and very homey and comfortable. We went to SLO to see our niece in a musical but the trip would have been worth it just to stay at the Apple Farm! Would definitely return! Bed was comfortable, room was large, lovely fireplace, roomy bath with lots of counter space. I would definitely recommend the Apple Farm and will return should I need to travel back to SLO for any reason.

Absolutely the best place to stay in San Luis Obispo. The place is clean, quaint, adorable, and very wholesome. It actually makes you feel like you're at home. Love the homemade cookies and apple cider. Staff is very attentive and polite. Will be back again and again. You can count on it!

The Apple Farm was a comfortable and nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very helpful, friendly and eager to assist you. The only drawbacks were the parking is limited and the bed in our room was not the most comfortable. Other than that, we would come back.

When we drove up to the Apple Farm in mid-November, it was decked out in Christmas decorations. To the right of the warm and inviting lobby stood a big Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations lined the halls as far as the eye could see. My wife and two young daughters fell in love with the place. The rooms and public areas are decorated in a matronly […] fashion, and that gives them an aura of warmth and comfort. If I were to have had a well-heeled grandmother who liked to decorate, her house would have looked like this. Our two-queen room had a sitting area complete with fireplace, and on the desk sat a small welcome basket with two bottles of apple juice. A small note told us that in the late afternoon wine was available in the Garden Room (next door in the Trellis Court) and that coffee, hot cider, and cookies were available in the evenings after 7:00 PM. A gift shop, bakery and restaurant were on site. With each night of our stay we received a $5 food voucher that could be used at either the restaurant or bakery. The day we departed we stocked up on scones and cookies. Overall the staff members were polite and courteous. We felt that they worked hard to make the hotel inviting. Although the ostensible purpose of our trip was to celebrate my birthday, my wife and daughters say they want to go back every year. I enjoyed my stay, the hotel made the biggest impression on the women in my house. Only after we got home did I discover that a number of my acquaintances had also stayed and thought highly of the Apple Farm. OK, now I know, too. Devamı

This was my first time there and I was enchanted by all the Christmas decor. It was beautiful and the rooms were so cozy. The entire staff was warm, friendly and very accomodating. The grounds were beyond compare. I hated to leave so will have to go back soon. The food and ambiance of the restaurant was also very very good. It's a must see!

A little, no a lot, overdecorated with kitsch, but the room was large and comfortable. The only thing I'd change -- have hot water for tea available with the coffee in the lobby. Our rate on Hotel.com was far less than that on the hotel website, and was much appreciated.

We stayed at the Apple Farm for two nights and were given a room below a renovation project. We put up with the noise for two days realizing a hotel shouldn't have to shut down to renovate. On our last morning, someone was in the room from 5-6 AM making an enormous amount of noise--I actually got dressed and went to see. The door was ajar and the lights […] were on, so I know someone was inside, although I did not enter. When we reported this to the front desk upon checkout, the lady at the desk seemed surprised we would be given a room underneath one being renovated, and could not explain the noise at 5 am. If the hotel is not concerned about treatment of guests, we certainly won't be going back. A shame because the room and grounds are beautiful. Devamı

I would have given the Apple Farm an overall rating of 4 if the hotel front desk personnel were informed that major construction was taking place directly over the room they gave us. Due to the extent of the construction which was conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., this room should not have been rented to guests. After we had emptied our suitcases […] into dressers and closets for our three-night stay, we complained to staff about the noise and were informed that it would be going on for our entire stay. They did offer to move us, but we didn't want the hassle of moving everything, so instead, got up and out of the room as early as possible. In the future, when we check into a hotel, we'll ask if there is construction planned near our room! Devamı

Everything was GREAT !!

Refreshing change of pace from chain hotels. Quaint "bed and breakfast" feel, and you can tell the staff takes great pride in their try for "perfection" in all areas. Only downside is the entrees at the restaurant were a bit pricey for the dishes offered, but..... still a nice atmosphere.

We had an enjoyable overnight stay at the Apple Farm. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was great and we found our room to be very comfortable. The only disappointment was the fact that the cider mill was not operational. That was the primary reason we wanted to visit. Hopefully, the next time we stop by it will be working. This is likely one of the most unique hotel/motels in the area. Country-style decor, friendly staff, social hours in the courtyard with wine, cheese and date bread. On-site restaurant has an extensive menu at varied prices with prompt service. Totally a delight.

The atmosphere is quaint and very homey. It's our favorite place to stay.

Flowery wallpaper. Flowery bedspread. Etc. Decorated like a tea room. Very convenient to Cal Poly and downtown. Nice people. Clean. Small bedroom. Generous bathroom. Dated decor and very frilly. Was disappointed in front desk - we tried to check in early and were told they would call us in a while when they ha a room clean. Three hours later we finally […] got a room...they never did call us. And they checked in many others during that three hour wait. Devamı

Stayed for one night in a trellis room in August. The grounds and building are beautiful, like a fairytale. Flowers everywhere and fairy lights at night time. The staff were very friendly and check in and out was hassle free. The cookies and drinks in the reception are a nice touch although I didnt get any cookies as there were a family with three children […] who made them disappear! :) The trellis rooms are not in the main building, they have a more motel style layout which I quite like as your car is right outside. My only complaint is that the room was quite small. I can live with a small room but this was made quite cramped by having a four poster bed in it. We had a private hot tub which is a great option if your going to spend the evening there with a glass of bubbly. Good times! Devamı

Have stayed at Apple Farm Inn since it opened. 3 of oue children attended college there and now our grandson is there. Apple Farm has maintained it's charm thru the years. Wewouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed here on a Sat. night to celebrate our anniversary. There was plenty of parking & check-in was fast & easy. There is hot apple cider, coffee and tea available in the lobby nearly all day, and the cider was delicious. They bring out cookies from the bakery at 7 p.m. as well which was a nice touch. The guest reception on the patio at check-in […] was also nice. We had a queen room with private patio spa in the single story building across from the lobby. The room was pretty small but adequate for our needs. The patio spa was great! It was already perfectly heated and clean. We were a little concerned about our neighbors- a group of young girls- but they quieted down after about 11:00 so it ended up being a non-issue. I could see how it might be miserable if you had noisy neighbors though. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! I had a delicious prime rib dinner & my husband had some very good pasta. The portions are enormous. One major complaint (and a few minor ones): the shower was terrible. The water temperature "pumps", first between hot & luke warm, back & forth between temperatures too quickly for you to adjust the knob to compensate. Then, it progressed to a scalding/freezing combination. It was so hot/cold I had to jump out of the water's spray. I wondered if there were too many people showering and/or using their spas at the same time and that was what was causing it, but this is a major problem. It's a given that a lot of people will be showering around 9 a.m. on a Sunday. Maybe this was unique to our building? Another problem: for the price of this room, it needs to have a mini fridge. A minor point, but even the cheap motel down the street has a mini fridge in each room. Especially since there is a restaurant on the property that has great food and enormous portions. They'll box up your food for you, but there's no way for you to keep it cold in your room. Sure, the rooms are small but there's several places they could've squeezed one in. Which Devamı

It was the perfect place for a family get together. We stayed at the Apple Farm the whole weekend and relaxed.

Gorgeous hotel, gift shop, restausrant and grounds. Rooms were gorgeous, beautifully decorated and the fire was a lovely touch. Also there was free tea, coffee and fresh home made cookies at check in when we arrived, the Apple Farm had me at hello. Only negative comment to make is that the shower was a bit old and yuk, not dirty but just old and stained. […] Other than that I give it 10 out of 10. Devamı

The stay was good. The wine reception was excellent and the complimentary cookies were lovely, make sure you take advantage of this service! The adjorning restaurant was good value and well laid out. Easy to get into the centre and out onto the highways if required!

Great experience! Bed & Breakfast feel but large Hotel amenities. Would highly recommend it if your travels take you to San Luis Obispo, CA.

We only stayed over-night and a party of three, but was very happy with the room, restaurant and location. Went to SLO to visit the Cal-Poly campus which is about a 2-min. drive away. The room was clean, king sized bed very comfortable, but the fold-out for teenaged son, was a little lumpy but sufficient for an overnight stay. We had a great dinner […] and breakfast at their restaurant. Unfortunately due to schedule, we could not take advantage of other amenities. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. Devamı

This Inn is very quaint with a restaraunt and 2 gift stores. The rooms are decorated with pretty flowered wall paper and nice, comfy beds. There is a trolley that runs close by to take you down town for a small fee. There are also fireplaces in the rooms and a spa onsite. It is quiet and relaxing. I always enjoy my stay. Apple Farm is a great Inn. Rooms are wonderful. Reception is nice and cookies at night are delicious.

It was very quiet and the pool was never crowded. My family loves getting away to this unique cottage style hotel. It is definitely worth every penny we spent staying there.

We went the Hearst Castle. While searching for a room we discovered this is not a trip to be planned at last minute if you want a nice room at a fair price. Most of the reviews of available places were not good. Upon reaching Apple Farm, my expectations were not high. I should preface the fact that I'm a former travel agent. So, I've seen the best and […] the worst of hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful and friendly; the rooms were comfortable and clean;they had country cozy decor. Having your own private hot tub was just a bit of heaven. I'm also a former cook; so I'm very picky about my food. Every dish we had was sheer perfection. My breakfast was a bit more than one would spend at Denny's or IHOP but the quality is so...... worth it. I have and will continue to sing their praises and recommend this place to all my friends. What a pleasure to stay at Apple Farm Inn. The staff was so accommodating and very helpful. I needed an "early check in" as I was attending a wedding and needed time to get ready! My room was ready when I arrived and I made it to the wedding on time! Not only was the room clean, quiet, and comfortable, but the restaurant provided delicious selections, […] not to mention the bakery! All in all, I would come back without hesitation! This was a really beautiful hotel, overall appearance of hotel and grounds was stunning, our room was lovely, wished we could have stayed longer. Staff of both the hotel, restaurant and gift shop were very helpful, would definitely recommend to others.

This is a great hotel with a perfect location! great value, clean rooms, the only thing is the pool is a little small for such a big hotel.

If you have scary childhood memories of your Grandmother's over-the-top floral decor this might not be the place for you. But if you get a kick out of kitschy Americana-type hotels with gift shops bigger than the lobby, it's perfect. My fiance and I enjoyed our stay here, nice people, clean rooms, and couldn't be more convenient to the beach, wine country, […] and plenty of restaurants and shops in downtown San Luis Obispo. The pool isn't huge but again, it's nice, clean, and likely right outside of your room. Devamı
