"Hotel Breakfast"
The hotel was great. The only problem we had was the breakfast was not very good.

Great Hotel for price. Clean, renivated nicely, good free breakfast. One block away from Vanderbilt University and downtown Nashville very close by. Nice park nearby with pond, running paths, close to shopping and restaurants. Will stay again.

"Excellent Hotel at an Excellent Location"
This is a gem of a place, bang in the middle of the most happening place in Nashville. Great location, great service, very clean and comfortable. Money well spent! Would recommend it to everyone!
"Great Hotel for Vanderbilt U"
This had everything you would want for a college visit. The staff was excellent and the large pool area was attractive and well-kept.
"Unfriendly staff, hotel being remodeled"
The hotel was in the middle of remodeling which is the first thing you see. Hotel was overpriced for the room and lack of amenities! We had driven for eight hours and exhausted when we arrived. We chose hotel for the proximity and the fact it advertised a rollaway bed on Request. We asked for the bed from the guy who works in the evening and he lied […] and said that they didn't offer this. When we got to the room and I retread their brochure, I saw that this was offered. I called back to him and informed him of this and he then told me that this was not offered in a standard room as if we were second class for taking a standard room!!! So my son slept in a chair with a stool!! Recommend not staying here unless you like being treated as if the money you spent for the night was not good enough for the hotel staff. The woman was nice but first impressions leave a bad taste in your mouth!! Devamı
"Hampton Inn Vanderbilt-Elliston"
Great location for Vanderbilt, but do note that there are two Hampton Inns near Vanderbilt. Both are convenient, but depending on what you are doing one could be slightly better than the other. Just pay attention when booking. Overall this on (Elliston) was a nice clean hotel. Would stay there again.
"This Hampton is Much Better than most"
I do not know why this Hampton Inn gets 2.5 stars. I would give it 3 least, maybe 3.5. It is newly renovated and very convienient to Vanderbilt and very comfortable. It is a nicer hotel that any of hotels near Vandy except perhaps Lowes...Marriott... Hutton and Indigo. Those are all more typical of a 4 star hotel, but.... except for the Marriott they […] are slightly farther from Vanderbilt. This Hampton is significantly less expensive than the others listed above and it does not charge for parking or internet which can save you an additional $30-40/day. My only complaint is that it is frequently sold out, but you can understand why. Devamı
The room and hotel were very clean and well maintained. We gave it an exceptional rating and would stay there agin.
"Visit to Vanderbilt University"
We stayed here for the purpose of visiting Vanderbilt University. The hotel is very close to campus and is within walking distance of everything on or around campus. There are also a couple of good franchise restaurants nearby - it was nice to park the car at the hotel and just walk to a place for dinner.

"Comfortable and well situated."
The hotel was next to some major construction but I requested and was granted a room on the opposite side.mthe staff was very courteous and I enjoyed chatting with the little kitchen's staff. I had no problems at all and the hotel was well situated for my needs while in Nashville. Very close to good food, good shopping and a nice kotchen supply shop […] still there in Greenhills. "to much noise"
we could hear every move of the people next door to our room.. paper thin walls...the staff was nice, the bed was comfortable just wished i didnt have to hear the people discuss their events throughout the day at 1am.
"Comfortable stay at Hampton Inn, Elliston Pl."
The hotel lobby was under construction when we stayed which caused some confusion for check-in. I used the exercise room which was perfect for one or two people but there are only 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical machine and some free weights. Staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable.
"Already recommended"
The hotel was undergoing a makeover, which was handle as such that it did not interfere with the hotel guests. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint and this is minor was the clock did not glow in the dark - so I didn't know what time it was when the lights were off. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Even though underconstruction, very nice stay. Helpful employees, signs directing where to go around construction, rooms very comfortable. Great parking.
"Relaxing stat"
We were in town for a show and some shopping plus a little time to relax. The hotel offered a great spot to relax and the service was great. This set the mood for a great weekend getaway for my husband and myself.

The only problem is that they are doing construction renovating the hotel, causing it to be very noisy during the day. Otherwise, the room was nice and very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast.
"Great Location and"
We had a very positive experience at this property. It is convenient to nightlife and tourist sites of Nashville. The breakfast buffet was plentiful in a pleasant setting.

The hotel was overall pretty good. There was construction going on while we stayed but I didn't even notice. One issue was that the sheet on the bed had an odd stain on it when we got there. The breakfast was okay. Good location. Not too far from the downtown Nashville area. I'd stay here again.

The hotel was very nice, except the comforter had black spots that were close to the face. The tub had water dripping with the stopper closed and dirt or rust in the bottom next to the stopper. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now when watching a friend's band play at the Exit/In two blocks away and it has been great both times. Very clean, nice pool, easy parking, and great location.

The hotel staff at the front desk were very nice any time we went there. The hotel was very nice. They said they were under renovations and to "excuse our mess" but I never saw any mess. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was so nice! It must have been a recently renovated room. The little kitchen was great and even had a dishwasher! "Hampton Inn Elliston Place - great location"
Great hotel if you have a student at Vanderbilt University. Just renovated though it was fine before. Staff is great and you are just a block away from the school so you do not have to worry about trying to park at Vandy. Only issue would be the new A/C units; they cycled on & off too frequently and the room temperature was hard to regulate. The room […] was either freezing or too warm. This from someone who does not like A/C. Still, the Hampton Inn Ellison is our hotel of choice when going to see our son at school. Devamı
"So disappointed!"
We have never been dissatisfied with Hampton Inn; however, this visit broke the record. Everything was okay until 7:15 on Saturday morning when we were awakened by a jackhammer in the next room. No kidding. We went downstairs to the desk and the attendant pointed to an 8" x 10" sign that announced "No Refunds for Construction Noise." We weren't even […] asking for a refund -- just some basic courtesy from the hotel staff. The bottom line is this: If a hotel is undergoing any sort of construction, the customer needs to be told before making a reservation. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for this type of treatment. Devamı

This hotel was perfect! Very clean and we got the suite which had tons of room. Service was great, got extra pillows and towels. Breakfast was nice and the pool was so big. Highly recommended. Also instead of the noisy air conditoning unit they had thermostats so it was very quiet and comfortable. We had a stove, full size frig, dishwasher and all the […] dishes too. wow! Devamı
We were very pleased. The only issue we had was with the parking on Friday night. The ongoing renovations apparently are taking up a lot of parking slots and the hotel was full Friday night.
"Quiet Escape"
This hotel was perfect. We traveled to Nashville for our Honeymoon...but didn't want the "just off the highway" feel. Its nestled a block away from Centennial Park in a quiet area with great surroundings. The suite was immaculate. It felt just like an apartment. The staff was very friendly, even giving us maps with their preferred parking garages downtown […] and restaurants. My husband and I recently went to Nashville to see a concert and I booked a room at Hampton Inn on Elliston Place. The young lady at check in was very helpful in finding a room for us even though we arrived before regular check in. The room was very nice and comfortable..extremely clean!!! "Excellent Hotel for the price"
Excellent hotel. Had no problems, and enjoyed our stay. It was close to the downtown area. It has a free breakfast and internet. I had a king suite, and was very pleased with it. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. We will stay here again if we come back to the Nashville area.

"Hampton Inn Elliston - great location"
Very clean. Comfortable rooms. Just a quick inexpensive cab ride to downtown. Good locatiion...easy access. Will definitely stay again and will recommend to others.

I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and so were the many amenities. So far, my favorite Hampton.

The room had been recently renovated and was very nice and clean. We were there for the CMM & the hotel started the breakfast buffett early in consideration for the participcants. The staff was very accommodating.

"Not the usual kind of Hampton"
The hotel is undergoing a renovation which we didn't know about when booking the hotel. The room was well worn and needs an update, certainly not the usual Hampton standard. This location is near Vanderbilt Univ and is not within walking distance of the nightlife area in downtown. Personnel were pleasant and efficient.
good value for the money. good location for centennial park area, not for downtown nashville. bed comfortable, pillows not!
